I did the three high passes trek from March 29-April 14 with Rajkumar and he was the best guide we could have asked for. From the start when he picked me up from the airport he was full of energy even though he had just arrived the same day from another EBC trek.

He was encouraging, patient, cheerful, a steady force, full of knowledge, everything that we needed to complete the three high passes trek over the course of 17 days. He was adaptive to our needs, flexible with our itinerary, to ensure we had the best possible time.

I can’t think of a better person to guide us and would highly recommend anyone reading this review to request him as a guide for your next adventure.

Our porters Pisal and Gobinda were also wonderful people. They did an amazing job carrying our sacks and when we needed help the most, they would help us with our packs as well. They always had a smile on their face no matter how tough the going got. Truly appreciative of them as well.

Our family completed the EBC trip with the ACE team: Guide: Milan, Ass. Guide: Jit & porters: Lochan, Anil, Deepak & Krishna. December is a challenging month with the extremely cold weather. We wouldn’t be able to do this without their great support. Milan really showed his in deep knowledge about the trail and mountains. He guided us to walk at the right pace, overcome altitude sickness and finally complete this amazing journey. I highly recommend the ACE team to people who wish to complete their EBC goal.

We just had the most amazing trip in the Everest region with Ace the Himalaya! Their trip plan, guides, office staff and ground support, were nothing short of amazing!

As we quickly found out, Mother Nature can make that part of the world very challenging, and you need a flexible go-with-the-flow attitude to travel there. But more than that, you need a well connected, organized, professional tour operator on your side when weather or natural disasters arise.

To start with, less than 48 hours before we left the US, Kathmandu suffered devastating floods and we thought our trip might have to be rescheduled. But the office quickly confirmed that all was ok where we were going, and put our minds at ease. As we headed up to the Everest region, we realized that no one had been able to get in/out of that area by plane for 5 days because of the storm. But thanks to Ace's connections with the helicopter services, we were on the first flight from Kathmandu into Lukla that day, which ended up being only 1 of 2 that got in during a short weather window. And because of that passenger backlog, even our guide spent 3 days trying to get up to the mountains to join us, so in the meantime Ace shuffled another 2 guides to cover the beginning of our trip. The office and guides were in constant contact with us via What'sApp, keeping us updated on what was happening. By day 3, when it was clear that our planned guide wouldn't be able to catch up with us, we were assigned one of their other seasoned guides for the remainder of our trip. Ganesh was simply wonderful ... knowledgeable, friendly, informative, and fun. We felt completely at ease with his abilities and thoroughly enjoyed his company.

Along the trek, we passed a number of places where the trail had been damaged from the storm the week before. In particular, crossing the Ngozumba Glacier where landslides were still active. Ganesh was very careful and attentive, with our safety & enjoiyment in mind the whole time. And when we decided to alter our trip half way through, he responded "no problem" and by the next morning it was all arranged.

I can't recommend Ace highly enough as the best tour operator in the Himalayas. Book one of their fantastic trips, or have them customize one for you.

I had the most amazing experience exploring Nepal with this company. Right from the day I opted to go with ACE the Himalaya until I landed back in my country this company was very good at communicating all that would be coming up.
Ram was there right in front with the company sign and a Lei at my pick up at the airport. Gill was my guide for Kathmandu and Nagarkot. He was superior in his professionalism as well as the information about ALL the attractions that we visited. His knowledge was beyond what I could ever have obtained from google or a book. Ram was then my guide for Pokhara, Chitwan and back to Kathmandu. All these places were magical and a must see on a tour of Nepal. I was exceptionally lucky as the weather was PERFECT and I saw all the ice capped mountains from the lake and again for sunrise at Sarangot. Ram tailored the days to how I felt each morning and the weather. He was very attentive to what I wanted to see and do and very informative of any of the locations that we visited. I was fortunate enough that all the sunrise days were perfect, the weather for the safari was GREAT and the day of my Mount Everest flight I could not have asked for a more clear day. This tour has everything that I would ever want to see in Nepal as well as the most amazing staff to make a dream holiday come true. I would highly recommend ACE THE HIMALAYA as the tour company to lead you on this adventure and ask for Ram, he is the best.

We organised a 14 day customised tour around Nepal from Kathmandu to Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Janakpur, Chitwan, Lumbini, Tansen, Pokhara, Gorkha and back. Apart from a slight hiccup with airport pickup on day 1, everything went smoothly right from the booking process to drop off back at the airport on the last day. We had Dil as our tour guide for the first part of the trip around Kathmandu Valley and Ishwor for the remainder. This was a great combination as Dil provided us with a lot of historical and other facts around Kathmandu while Ishwor was a lot of fun. Both were open to little itinerary tweaks depending on how we felt each day, and helped us to take great photos. Our driver Niranjan was also great, always polite and cheerful with a sense of humour that pops up now and then in conversation. Thanks to the team, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nepal.

My wife and I recently completed the Three Passes Trek with Ace. From pre-booking to trek completion, the experience was fantastic. We messaged with several trekking agencies before booking, and Ace's communication was best. Upon arrival at KTM, Ace was waiting as promised to provide a transfer to the hotel they booked for us. Our guide, Raj Kumar, was even there to greet us despite it being nearly midnight! The next day we had an excellent pre-trek briefing with Ace's founder, Prem. The weather had prevented trekkers from reaching Lukla by plane for several days, so Ace booked us and our trekmates on an early morning helicopter to avoid delays, which was a great start to the trek!

Once on the trek, there were several Ace groups on different treks with us until Dingboche. It was great getting to know the other trekkers, and we also got to meet several Ace guides and porters, who were all excellent, friendly, and attentive to all of us.

Our guide, Raj, and porters, Gobinda and Pisal, took such good care of us. Having gone on guided mountain climbs in the USA before, I didn't expect the level of service, attention, and support to be so high. Raj and Ace raised the standard of excellence.

Raj was very knowledgeable about the trek and happy to answer our many questions. When we needed more rest, he was also flexible and suggested the best changes to the itinerary. When we were having a rough day due to lack of sleep or illness, Raj and/or the porters would insist on carrying our day packs. Superhuman! They were essential to our success in completing all three passes safely and in good spirits.

When we arrived a day early in Lukla, Raj and Ace even arranged a helicopter out that afternoon so we could rest in Kathmandu. When we landed at KTM, Ace was already there ready to transfer us to our hotels.

I would highly recommend Raj Kumar and Ace to anyone wanting to trek in Nepal. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and work hard to provide a seamless experience!

ABC tracking with guide Milan and Porter Suke was good every day. Travel seems to be a good memory that remains more memorable due to the people who are together. Even the most friendly Eugene who travelled together was perfect enough to plan such a long trip together, but Milan, Suke, my superman who consumed and cared for the calendar together, took care of even the slightest things during the whole trip, and used easy English and Korean for me, who lacked English. Every time I remind myself of Nepal, my hero Milan, Suke, is the first to come to mind. Friends planning a trip to Nepal are strongly recommended to track with ACE THE HIMALAYA, and the best guide Milan and the smiling and caring Porter Suke are strongly recommended to take a trip to feel and experience the great nature of Nepal.

Another great trek with Ace. This is our 4th trek using Ace and this time we trekked to Nar, Phu and Tilicho lake. An incredible trek that was arranged by Ace. From start to finish you can not fault them. In the office Prem and Sujan are great. Our guide, Maddie and porter Ramesh, who came out of porter retirement for us (he’s a qualified guide now) are both awesome. Nothing is a problem and having flexibility within the itinerary was no issue. I can thoroughly recommend Ace.

We took the Poon Hill tour with ACE for 5 days (real trekking time). This was an amazing experience - a perfect mix between adventure, nature, trekking and cultural experience. The views into the Himalaya range were stunning and got more impressive from day to day. The hiking trails are all very well established and can be made by everybody, who is physically fit. Most of the trails are made of stone steps. So be prepared to hike up and down on these steps. Eventually worth bringing hiking sticks with you to ease the climbing - but not a must.

Our guide „Milan“ was very well organized and guided us through the days, by informing us proactively about the tour, next steps aso.

He provided us rich insights to the individual mountains in the Himalaya, nature and was also an interesting discussion partner for all of the questions we‘ve had in general to Nepal and neighborship. Also the porters were very friendly. All of them found a very good balance of being here for us, but also giving room for privacy during the trek.

We - as Swiss - are used to hike in the mountains. For us, the scheduled hiking times were significantly overstated - giving us more time in the evenings to enjoy the guesthouses. (Happily we were prepared and had warm clothes with us, as guesthouses are only limited heated, which made it quite chilly at nights).

One last word: There are plenty of guesthouses and small shops along this trip. If you need to get some water, food or toilet paper (yes, you should bring along), there is plenty of opportunities to re-stock.

As frequent travelers we can only recommend you ACE as your trip coordinator. All worked perfectly fine!

Just completed Everest three passes trek with Ace the himalaya.
My second trek with the company, and not the last.
Challenging and adventurous trek, everyone in the group completed the trek.

Guide Ngima led the group with experience and professionalism, assistent/porter Chetra always with a smile and great energy, porters Teak and Gombu with impressive strength and smiling attitude.
The entire team worked great together, made me feel safe the entire trek.

The team was a big part of why the trek was such a amazing experience.

Highly recommend Ace the Himalaya!
