Review of: Everest Base Camp Trek - 14 Days
Since I started planning the trip, my experience with Ace Himalaya was great. Sujan answered each of my emails quickly and with all the information I needed. When the time finally came an I had to finally buy the trip, I did not hesitate to do it with them The service and attention they gave me since I arrived in Nepal was excellent. During my trek to Everest base camp, my guide Kishore and my porter Krishna were super professional, they worried about me at all times, there were difficult days when I thought I would not make it, but their support was so great that It gave me confidence to keep going. I couldn't have done it without them!!…

I did the high passes trek with Ace the Himalaya. This trip was booked over 2 years ago and Ace the Himalaya supported me the while time waiting for the borders and tourism sector to open back up. All the paperwork was handled before our arrival. Our guide Raj and porter Himi made this an incredible and memorable experience. I recommend Ace the Himalaya without reservation. We were lucky with the weather, the views and the people we met. A once in a lifetime experience.…

Review of: Everest Base Camp Trek - 14 Days
In April we spent a fantastic 2 weeks in Nepal on the Ace The Himalayas 14 day Everest Base Camp Trek. Having booked the trip over 2 years ago, which was disrupted by covid. Ace have been fantastic with the booking and communication and helping to move the dates due to covid 19 - Sujan in the Ace office was always on hand to answer any questions we had. Sujan organised all the paperwork for trekking and made sure that we had no issues whatsoever at the airport. When we arrived in Kathmandu we met with our guide Dipesh, who was professional, friendly and lots of fun throughout the trip. He was great at tailoring the trip whenever we wanted to make a change. He listened to our needs and adjusted the plans with ease and without stress. We had 2 porters on our trip, Don and Dilip, both which worked really hard carrying all our bags up and down the mountain. Dilip in particular was outstanding and couldn’t do enough to help us, he went above and beyond his role as a role as a porter. I would highly recommend requesting Dilip for your trip to the Himalayas. He would make a fantastic guide in the coming years. The accommodation was reasonable in the mountains (as good as there was up there). Don’t expect luxury as you go to the top - the toilets and showers are poor over 4500m (but this has to be expected). Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic trip and highly recommend going with Ace.…

Review of: Gokyo to Everest Base Camp Trek
In June 2021 my daughter (37) and I (63) decided to hike somewhere in the Himalayas of Nepal during the summer of 2022. We only see each once a year so this trip had to be perfect. After some research on the net we chose “Ace the Himalaya” not only for the good reviews but the options for dates and most importantly the ability to do a loop verses just trekking up and down the same path to Everest Base Camp. We chose the “Gokyo to Everest Base Camp Trek - 19 days”, a long and strenuous hike but worth every step. The hike itself was 14 days, there were days at the front for guided sight seeing in Kathmandu and one at the end. Before I go into some details I’ll cut to the chase and give Ace the Himalaya a 5 star rating. The Hike: Of all the sub topics, this is the most important, as this is why you book the trip in the first place. The loop we chose is one of the tougher ones but we’ll worth it. The weather isn’t something Ace has any control over but I will say it only rained for 4 hours on the last day so no complaints there. It wasn’t alway clear skies but enough that we saw such great views of the mountains that will stick with me forever. There are many ups and downs, walking poles helped and the trail is easy to follow. Registration and communication: We communicated numerous times with Sujan before committing and afterwards. Sujan always answered our questions in a timely manner and provided the confidence we needed to book with Ace. Upon arriving Sajiya (office mgr) went through everything as well. Kathmandu: We had a one day tour to some of the more popular and historic sites in and around Kathmandu. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the sites, history and religious significance of the places visited. Our Guide: What can I say about Nimesh, except that he was the best. I have a very sarcastic sense of humour and he picked it up right away. We spent the the 2 weeks joking back and forth. Beside the fact he was fun to be with, he knows his stuff. He provided information on the mountains (names, heights, etc), answered every question I had from Sherpas (average age, weight carried, etc), languages, cultures and personal issues. In the end he was my friend. Porter: We had a young man named Pradip who amazed me at his ability to carry all my and my daughters gear each day. Deliver them to our rooms before we got there and picked them up after we left. Accommodation: Don’t expect 5 star accommodation this is not that type of trip. That being said every Teahouse we stayed at met the most important criteria, it was clean. Nothing is heated and it gets cold at night so bring those thermal onesies to sleep in. Food: The menu at each Teahouse is similar and has a sufficient list of chooses to pick from. I never went hungry. If you want more information I can be reached at joedneil@hotmail.com…

Review of: Everest Base Camp Trek - 14 Days
I am a legit customer that did the EBC trek in May 2022. Ace the Himalayas was the best guiding service anyone could ask for and made our trip better than one could ever expect. The guides- ours were Matty, Ramesh, and Depeche- were wonderful and amazingly helpful for all scenarios during the entire trek. Also, their knowledge and experience with the Himalayan area, as well as emergency protocols, were second to none. Largely thanks to them, our whole 14-member group successfully accomplished hiking to EBC. I would highly recommend any of these guides. Moreover, the company, in general, was very organized and accommodating throughout the entire trip planning process. Kathy Kramer was especially great to work with. All-in-all I had a fantastic experience with Ace and in my trek to EBC…
