We are so pleased we booked with Himalaya Sunrise and Prakash we have had the most fantastic holiday! Everything was so well organised from meeting us at the hotel (we were already in Nepal otherwise we would have been collected at the airport) the well planned itinerary got us up the Langtang trek in the time we had available and it went perfectly. We had a private jeep booked for the drive to the start of the Langtang trek the jeep was in very good condition with a very careful driver and a couple of lovely stops at tea houses on the way for drinks / rest stop etc. We met our porter who was very friendly and happy to be with us Ram, Rad and Prakash speak very good english it is fun and easy to talk to them. We arrived at Syabru Besi on time and booking in at the hotel was fast and easy with Prakash checking we were happy with the room and that we had enough blankets etc. The food there was very good and we had a good nights sleep. Prakash is a very experienced guide he carried a first aid kit with basic everyday medications which was reassuring. Through the 8 day trek we walked at our pace no pressure to go quicker and good motivation on the uphill sections! We could take breaks whenever we needed. One day we had to stop earlier than expected as the uphill got the better of me but it was fine no pressure to continue he got us booked into a lodge to relax and with an earlier start we still made it to the peak which we wanted to climb the next day. Prakash is very attentive checking on our welfare and making sure we didn't show signs of altitude sickness. I reached 4800 meters and started to suffer so he waited with me while the others went a little higher he made sure i knew it was better to stop than carry on and he made sure we drank plenty of water. He is also an excellent photographer some of our best photos came from him. He also offered to carry some of our load when it got very difficult. All the lodges we stayed at were friendly and welcoming with gorgeous food and we didn't have any bad bellies from the food / water. We had such a fantastic holiday and lots of fun with Prakash and Rad no problems at all no sickness / injury in their care it truly is a holiday we will remember for life and we have made lifelong friends in Nepal. The certificate and T-shirt were lovely gifts Perfect Holiday Faultless and i cannot recommend this company highly enough. The porter was supplied with adequate clothing and footwear and they are looked after by this company

His local knowledge and expertise gave us an immersive cultural experience, the best accommodation and he tailored our holiday exactly to our needs. Myself and a group of friends joined Himalaya Sunrise Treks for a trek to EBC in September 23 and wow what an experience! Prakash looked after us from the minute we landed until the final few hours of the trip and couldn’t do enough for us throughout. Even after EBC we spent some time sightseeing around Kathmandu all arranged by the company at great value and at short notice.
This is the 2nd time I have travelled with Prakash and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of spending some time in Nepal.

Walking the ABC last year, walking the ACT Annapuna Grand Circle this time on foot, still opted for this young and promising mountain guide Himalaya Sunrise- mr Prakash to take everyone to Thorang La Pass. Under his leadership, the 12-day 180-kilometer hike was like walking through four seasons. The Loess Plateau, desolate mountains, verdant forests, pristine villages, sand and dust swirled along the way, drizzling rain, flowing waterfalls, narrow stone paths. Despite encountering boulders blocking the way, blocking waterways, and minor accidents by mountain friends, he handled the situation with a sense of responsibility, urgency and security.
Especially in the 5416 surge to the top of the 1km above sea level, every step of the foot panting, up and down the mountain is 45 degrees steep, through a hundred battles he gave us the heart to build, in advance of telling his teammates how to go the next section of the road.
And thank you to the backmen for carrying our supplies, food and shelter are arranged to perfection, so that we can enjoy this love and hate process without worry. While it's important to hit the top, use one step at a time to walk life out of nowhere and find yourself.
Finally, I'd like to say: People who don't speak English can also come to Nepal on foot, and my half-bucket of English can be made to laugh, and his patience and humor can definitely be open-ended, with no awkward scenes. Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp is an experience of a lifetime, hiking from Ghandruk to Chomrom, Sinuwa, Bamboo, Dovan, MBC and ABC is a truly remarkable journey. We engaged Himalaya Sunrise tour agency for this trip and they really did a good job to make sure all of us have a safe and enjoyable trip.
One of the highlights of the trek is encountering the different weather conditions, such as light rain, hailstones, and snow, at different altitudes. This adds to the excitement and adventure of the trek, and the changing scenery is truly breathtaking. It's essential to be prepared with the right gear and clothing to handle these varying weather conditions.
The presence of a knowledgeable guide and experienced porters makes a significant difference in the trekking experience, and it's evident that they played an integral role in making this trip a memorable one. Our guide, Bipin and porters are essential for ensuring that the trek goes smoothly, and they are always ready to assist and provide valuable advice on the terrain and weather conditions.

This was my third pilgrimage to the Himalayas, it was full of adventures and thrills. We travelled by jeeps through idyllic villages, across lush verdant forest along the narrow dirt tracks that wraps around the mountains, along the way we were blocked by landslides and bulldozer clearing the path, our driver skillfully maneuver the vehicle right to the edge of the cliff and got us safely to the other side of the tracks, it gave you the adrenaline rush that waked up all your sensory in your body.
We reached Chame in one piece and there is where we started the next adventure that tested our endurance of trekking up more than ten kilometers towards Upper Pisang. Along the way you can see green forest, torrential waterfalls and fantastic panoramic views of the mountains. The scenery changed from lush green, to stunted trees to moonscape land scape as you go higher up.The best part of our adventure was going on horse back to ThorongLa Pass at 5416m, it was 1 km in elevation from Churi Ledar and we were so glad that we made the right choice of going up by horses as the high altitude and thin air will cause you to run short of breath with every move. We couldn't have made it to the top without the horses and we were really amazed by the endurance and strength of our porters. We continued our trekking down from the peak towards Muktinath and from there we took a jeep ride to Tatopani where we had a nice dip in the hot spring to wash away all the aches in our body. If you are still feeling strong by then you should trek to Gorepani, along the way we passed thorough some ancient villages that seems to have been frozen in time, we have a chance of tasting the local cuisine and enjoying the view of the farms with the mountains as the background. It is so enjoyable to be in this relaxing world. From Gorepani we went up to Poon Hill but unfortunately it started to rain and the mountains were shrouded by clouds and mist. Our journey ended with another hike toward Nayapul but we were too tired and thanks to our guide who cut short our hike and send us to Pokhara by jeeps and van. In total we trekking about 114km, a special thanks to Himalaya Sunrise Mr Prakash and his helpful porters, we can never imagine to make this wonderful trip without all of you.we shall be back again... Soon.

Third time with Himalaya Sunrise and Prakash-ji, and the experience keeps getting better. This time we chose to explore Langtang Valley, and all arrangements were top notch. We got the best accommodation options on the trail (the guide - Ram-ji made sure of this); and the porters that came with us were also an excellent bunch.
Each day was pleasantly beautiful, and the team was flexible enough to accommodate changes in the plan based on what we needed. Felt more like hiking with family rather than a third party, and that says a lot. Their priority was always our safety, and everything is communicated clearly upfront so that there is no confusion.
I will always opt for Prakash and Himalaya Sunrise because I know that I am looked after in the best possible way during the trek. Thank you Prakash, Ram, Binod (1), Binod (2) and Ram (2) for such a memorable Langtang Valley hike.

I am Gerry, based in Prague. I got to know about Prakash Ji of Himalaya Sunrise Treks from Facebook referred by an Indian. I had been to EBC and Mt Amadabalam BC trekking with Vinod dai for 15 days. My experience with them is wonderful since we started talking in internet. Vinod dai was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly person. We enjoyed throughout the journey and in future looking forward to meet many more times. I would strongly recommend Himalaya Sunrise Treks those who are interested for safe, knowledgeable guide and pleasant trekking partner. Thank you Prakash Ji and Vinod ji 🙏🙏
