We had a great time doing the Annapurna Base Camp trek with guide Jivan.
It was a bit tougher than we expected, but Jivan was really supportive and helped us take it slow and still manage to reach the amazing views at base camp on time.
The service was absolutely first class, and we felt much safer for having an experienced guide. Jivan is a great guy, good for a chat but also very happy to give you your own space if that’s your preference.
If you are looking to do any trek in Nepal, his company can help you out.

This company is very flexible - they enabled us to change the trail by combining multiple usual tracks so that we could see more in less time. Also adjustments during the track were possible.
All questions were answered - all problems solved, including the change of our flight back (which was originally purchased by us privately) without additional charges.
Our porter Parbat is an extremely tough guy being able to go very fast for long distances and accepting our request to even go further any day.
Also ours guide Bhumi’s services were far beyond the usual standard. Sometimes, he was more a personal butler than just a guide.

I went with a friend for a five day trek to Poon Hill and then up to the Mardi Himal Viewpoint. I had a great experience with the company. We were well received in Kathmandu by Prakash who gave us a tour on the city and the next day we went to Pokhara to get ready for the trek.
In Pokhara we met with our guide, Bhumi, and our, Parbat. They helped us get supplies and the also organized additional supplies free of charge for the trip. During the trek Bhumi and Parbat went beyond to make sure that we had an amazing time. We were very fast and Bhumi was able to adapt the itinerary on the spot to make sure that we got as much out of the mountains as possible. At one point we decided to finish trek one day early to make it more challenging. Bhumi and Parbat dashed down the Mardi Trek with us in four hours and on the way Bhumi arranged for us to have a car waiting when we got down. Once back in Pokhara they helped us find a nice spa to relax.
I highly recommend High Route Adventures for trekking in Nepal. They have both great service minded staff and a well functioning infrastructure to ensure that the trip goes smoothly. For our side the planning of this trip was minimal with great fun as an outcome.
Just a great company and great staff really! Plus they are great at taking photos (see below).

We hiked to Annapurna Base Camp and back with High Route Adventure and had a stellar time. Our guide, Jivan, was excellent - so calm, experienced, friendly, professional, and reassuring, while also thoughtfully planning ahead so that we had a very private and peaceful trekking experience. I understand the company runs other treks throughout the region as well. Ask for Jivan!

High Route Adventure’s short Annapurna base camp trek this October was a fantastic experience. Thank you for Prakash and our guide Kim and porter Porbat for making it happen. We booked a short Annapurna base camp and it exceeded all expectations. During the trek we walked through villages, lush forests and alpine landscapes. The views were really diverse. Also we did a city tour in Kathmandu since we opted to stay one extra day there before the trek. I would definetely recommend this trek to anyone wanting to experience Nepal and its majestetic mountains.

My trip with High Route Adventure was incredible! We ventured out to complete the manaslu circuit trek starting in December and finishing in January. Lots of laughs and amazing times on this less crowded trek. From my arrival to my departure all was taking care of with great detail and care. This trek took us through small villages with the kindest people, great accommodations, and the most magnificent views of the manaslu mountain range. I highly recommend Prakash and his team to take care of you as they will ensure your safety and will ensure your adventure is one not to be forgotten. Cheers!

I recently summited the Island Peak in Nepal with High Route Adventure. Thanks to Mr. Prakash Kapri and Pemba Lama who made the summit attempt a great success. And I have to say, it has been an incredible experience.
👍 Kudos to the team at High Route. Their planning and execution of the adventure to the Island Peak was outstanding.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to take on a trekking or climbing challenge in the Himalayas. 👌

Prakash whom I liaised with was great to recommend the Ghorapani Poonhill trek during the low season and could advise what to expect. Arrangements were also made for the domestic flights, with some changes made last minute due to a paragliding tour I wanted to try.
My guide Bhumi was excellent! He led the trek, shared interesting insights on Nepal, its culture and the different treks that could be done. Being a former chef in a hotel, he even cooked for me at some of the teahouses. He was helpful in many aspects and always polite and friendly. The porter Bharat was also strong and able and establish a good rapport with us.
Highly recommend High Route Adventure for trekking and travel experiences in Nepal!

Mr Prakash Kapri was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and decisive. I was doing a trek to ABC halfway and suffered diarrhoea . Have to U-turn halfway while the rest of the group continue and he showed concern and arranged everything for me to get back to the hotel without me having to worry about anything. When the group returned, his arrangements for our day tour were great and able to keep a close connection with us throughout the entire trip. Very fortunate to have him as our guide.

From the first to the last moment of the trip, Mr Prakash was there with us. Not only did he motivate us during the whole Yatra, but also during the difficult moments he was there to assist us (crossing flooded streams, reaching the Dolma Pass, arranging for the best possible accomodation, etc); not many have been lucky to have Mr Prakash personally accompany them for the Mount Kailash Pilgrimage Yatra. Without him, we would not have completed the Yatra and experienced a spiritual communion with Mahadev.
During the first few days spent in Kathmandu, Mr Prakash arranged for us to visit many Temples and Holy places and to participate in a Puja at Pashupatinath Mandir during the holy month of Shravan.
This trip will remain forever engraved in my heart and I will also cherish what High Route Adventure did for us.
