The 2nd time come back to Nepal after 7 years from the first-time trekking to Everest Base Camp and I was not disappointed. Kishwor - the manager of Breeze - (my tour guide 7 years ago back then) greeted me and my wife at the airport at 00:00am.
He honestly reported the high concerned situation of Nepal's road bad condition and advised us to take flight to Lumbini rather than driving there, and he arranged everything including flight tickets roundtrip, local guide, hotels, drivers...within a few hours. Thanks for his detail planning, we did save a lot of time, energy and annoyed during the 2 days trip to Lumbini from Kathmandu.
During the time we spent in Lumbini, Kishwor (from Kathmandu) restlessly checked on us, our flights time and our local guide/driver to make sure everything is on track, and whether we were safe and sound. He is full of responsible businessman.
He invited us to have a delicious dinner at his apartment with his wife and cute daughter. We learned a lot about Nepali culture, society and family stories of local people in that dinner.
On the day we departed Nepal, for some reason me and my wife had to take separate flights to different destinations. I went first and left my wife behind. I was concerned since this was the first time she traveled abroad, and she couldn't speak much English. Kishwor was the one who took care of her, picked her up at the hotel, sent her to the airport, made sure she was safe and checked in at the airport, sent me pictures of all those stages before he went home.
If I need to look for a the most reliable guide in Nepal, Kishwor - manager of Breeze - is that person.
