Overview
In this trekking, trekkers follow trail from low altitude to high altitude with high variation in altitude in a day at the beginning but once you get higher we change less height and ascend less. Due to this variation in landscape, one can explore verities of flora and fauna and acclimatize easily. The Manaslu trekking makes a loop from Arughat to Besi sahar, starts from one district and ends to another. The variation in the altitude gives different experience during this trek than other trail of Nepal Trekking trails. Along with that, panorama attached in the narrow river valley, deepest George, peaky mountains, lush green forest, varieties of wild animals and white water of those rivers refresh your mood time and again.

Experience of four weeks, trekking and visiting with Nepalgram Adventure Agency - April 2022 Starting beginning of 2020, I decided to visit and trek to Nepal, aiming specifically the Upper Mustang area at that time. I booked my long haul flight and researched local agencies to deal with and organize the trip. I found Nepalgram Aventure Agency and easily enter into communication with their CEO Arun Karki. In February 2020 everything was finalized and ready for April’s trek. Then, came the Covid and everything was postponed to six months every six months until this possible window of April 2022; two years later. During those two years of Covid crisis, I kept in touch with Arun exchanging on the situation and planning the possible venue on reopening days. Then in April 2022, I met Arun in Katmandou and we decided to skip the Upper Mustang idea as I was alone and a minimum of two people, ie. two permits, is required for this area; and still not so many people back for this destination. Arun was very professional and we agree on a dedicated private tour around Bimthang Valley, Anapurnas and Tilicho Valley. For this tour I had my guide and porter. During the trek permit preparation, Nepalgram organised à Katmandou visit and I met the guide on the evening. We then started the day after, heading to Besisahar, Bahundanda and Dharapani to explore the Bimthang valley; Titles of the enclosed photos: - My guide Ang Ringi and porter Deepak who took care of me during three weeks in mountains - Ponkar Lake in Bimthang Valley - Bimthang Valley landscape and journey over the High Lake - Bimthang village at the end bottom of the valley - Typical Guesthouse Kichen on Bimthang Valley After having explored the Bimthang Valley during five days, we then headed to the Anapurna Circuit portion up to Chame, Upper Pisang, Ngawal and Manang; - Chame village. Children greeting the tourists back again. - Road carved in the rock cliff between Chame and Upper Pisang - Group of porters, they are happy to renew with their job after two years of Covid crisis. - Anapurna II view from Upper Pisang - On the trail between Annapurna II and IV - Seems à face is carved in the mountain, looking at you! - Manang’s Main Street. Local life goes together with renewing trekking business - On the way to Tilicho Valley - Tilicho frozen lake at 4919m - Back to Annapurna circuit on the way to Thorong Phedi - View of the High Camp from view point at about 5000m - Thorong La Pass 5416m - With my guide and porter after the effort. The weather was also with us that day - Down to Muktinath, 1600m of way down from Thorong Pass improves the knees - Kakbeni, door of Upper Mustang - On the way to Ghorepani - Poon Hill Dhaulagiri, rebuilt house and remains of 2015 earthquake. - Sunrise view of Annapurna range from Poon Hill - Dhaulagiri range view from Poon Hill - Namaste - Local children are always happy to welcome visitors - Local ceremony in Pokhara - By a temple in Katmandu - Always colorful - Around Dubar Square in Katmandu. The area is still in reconstruction after the 2015 earthquake I let Nepalgram organizing the accommodation & visits in Katmandu, Pokhara, Bandipur and in mountains. All was well and professionally done. The last days of the journey from Pokhara, a private car with driver was also chosen to get a more relaxed end trip. I thank Arun - Nepalram, for being so professional. Special thanks too towards my guide Ang Ringi and porter Deepak so friendly and knocking to every safety aspect; sharing three full weeks in mountains with them will leave unforgettable souvenirs. Jean-Marie – French traveler Note: This circuit, as programmed with a gradual altitude level and performed within 21 days in mountains, did not cause any mountain sickness to me, even no minor effects.

My husband and I went to Kapuche Lake through Pokhara with the Nepalgram. Because of covid, I was not sure whether it would be safe to go for a trek or not. I sent an email to the Nepalgram agency and the agency was very responsive that they gave an assurance on the safety from COVID. They provided some options for less-trafficked trails and suggested the Kapuche trek that met most of our requirements. We did this trek with Nepalgram Guide Arun. He was a wonderful Guide who was on top of every little detail of our trek. He was extremely knowledgeable about the region and Nepal. He also took care of every single detail regarding our trek such as finding suitable drinking water, arranging and advising us about food, trekking gears, and medical issues. Arun was a lovely person to talk to and he is very respectful with everyone. He is an excellent photographer. It was a fantastic feeling for us to experience the welcoming Sikles village with warm hospitality and the Gurung culture from a few decades preserved in the museum was wonderful to witness. The astonishing trail to Kapuche Glacier Lake was adventurous. The waterfall and suspension bridge along the way, close view of Mount Lamjung from the beautiful blue glacier lake made our trip more satiating. Therefore No doubt saying Nepalgram is a number one agency. I strongly recommend Nepalgram for the seekers planning to trek in the coming days. Their behavior and the customer-oriented service are appreciable, I assure you won’t regret choosing Nepalgram. Looking forward to coming back in near future for another trek.

Trek to Gosaikunda was a very mesmerizing 7 days trek. During the trek, I got to know the religious belief of the place. The most scenic moment was the view of all Langtang Valley Mountains closely, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Sishapangba, and Paldor Peak. Pine forest, the trek route everything was very adventurous. I was on the trek with Arun an expert guide with the best itinerary. He was very communicative and gave all the local and religious information about the place and the trek routes that made the journey more meaningful. Fortunately, I did not feel altitude sickness but there were all the safety arrangements in case of any issues which is highly appreciated. All the different lakes, the beauty of snow nature covered in snow everything was so beautiful that I cannot even express it in words. One of the best memories in my life has been added. I would like to Thank Nepalgram Team and especially Arun for all his best support and plans during and for the trek. For my other trip, Nepalgram is my First choice and highly recommended to others who are planning to trek.

I had the opportunity to trek to Mardi Himal with Nepalgram and the entire experience was incredible. From start to finish, everything was taken care of and helped me pick the right trek for my schedule and skill level. Arun, not only, helped me decide on my trek, but was quick to answer any questions and offer adivce on gear. He was available to answer questions before, during, and after the trip. My guide, Deepak, was amazing! He was very knowledgable about the history of the trek and Nepal. I was worried about traveling solo, but I felt well cared for and Deepak and I became fast friends on the trek. Also, he is an amazing photographer! Nepalgram made my first time in Nepal very rememberable and I can't wait to go on another trek with them!

Together with my girlfriend I did the EBC and Gokyo Trek last October. I’ve done the Annapurna BC trek before, so I knew how much depends on a good guide. Arun didn’t disappoint at all. We always felt in good hands and couldn’t have asked for a better companion on our side during the 2 weeks. There are literally a million mountain guides in Nepal, but you wanna be smart and choose someone with good English skills and a good risk assessment capability. Once you go above 5000m thinking straight becomes a problem, so be cautious whom you entrust your life. I can recommend Arun 200%
