The views were marvoullous , thoroughly enjoyed it , how the bus driver managed the steep hills I don't know.
I definitely would do it again.
I did not have to pay a thing for it because I had a bus pass.

Swift Tourist Bus. Do not book through Tripadvisor. We had a confirmation number but never got an actual ticket. Upon arriving at the bus there was no assigned seat for us, even though the attendant had us in his phone. As a result we got the worst seats in the bus. Dead last seat. Most seats would feel the bad road, but the back seat in spades.
8 hours in total. Times when the bus sat for 20 to 30 minutes due to continuous road construction. Saving grace air conditioner, as it got hotter as we descended. Yes, there was some pleasant scenery, which is why we took the bus, but only in spurts and towards the last 1/3 of the journey.
My advice, fly. 25 minutes in the air. If by bus, which is very reasonable price wise, book once you are in Kathmandu via your hotel.

Its been a different experience for us in Nepal, we’re tried to find lots of alternatives and got quotes from different company as everybody love to have good trip.

We had decided our trip even though at final stage they had well managed everything for thế Kathmandu excursion and pokhara sightseeing. Guide has sound knowledge and Badri himself found dedicated and hard working to manage our trip smoothly run. Overall, guys managed really well and good team work.

We are happy with the service with them but the road conditions was under-developing and we know that, that is not there problem though.

Additionally, thank you guys for your efforts to make our trip smooth and memorable. Definitely can choose them for next trip.

453kms in 11 hours. Slow journey. But, the terrain between Dili and Kupang is very steep, so much of the journey is spent climbing nd descending hills. The journey costs USD$23. Bought from the bus company, Paradise Tours in Futahada, Dili, Timor-Leste. Journey started with a check in at 0730 at Paradise Tours office. The bus had 12 seats, including the driver and was full for the leg to the border. It took about 3 hours to get to the border with West Timor, Indonesia. The journey was pleasant, with much of the road skirting the coast. We passed throught many villages and saw many small rice paddies. Transiting the border was a straightforwrd process and took about 60 minutes to get from one side to the other. After the border we stopped twice in Atambua, about 75 minutes from the border. First stop was to allow people change money into Indonesian Rupiah. Second stop was for a meal, at your own cost. There was a good menu and rice, veg and meat + tea cost USD$4.30
The road from the border to Kupang is seled and good condition but is narrow and winding. There are few views and the journey gets a bit monotonous. We arrived in Kupang at around 1930. The driver took all passengers to the stop of their choice in Kupang and dropped me at my hotel.
