I can’t say enough great things about Sonam, he is an amazing guide. He gets my highest possible recommendation. Sonam is an effective communicator both with WhatsApp and in person. He has warm personality and is enjoyable to hang out with. During the planning phase, Sonam developed a detailed, personalized itinerary. During the trek, Sonam handled all the logistical arrangements: transportation, lodging & food. Sonam was also flexible, allowing us to modify the itinerary “on the fly” by adding more hiking days on the “backside” of the Annapurna Circuit (AC).
Our AC route: Chame-Nayapool with Tillicho Lake
We really enjoyed the AC. We had a 19 day itinerary, with 13 hiking days. We added Tillicho Lake to the tradition AC. We wanted to do as much of the circuit possible. So rather than take transportation from Muktinath (the town after Throurong La) to Tatopani, we elected to hike down. We really enjoyed this portion of the trek. Lots of cultural experiences, plenty of alternate routes to avoid hiking on the main road and a lot less hikers on the trail.
The hiking was amazing. Beautiful majestic views, one the prettiest places on the planet. Wonderful people. So much fun.

It was my first time to Nepal. Without any presumption, the people and things I met in Nepal were just so warm and hearty. Of course, Sonam was one of them. I got the chance to meet Sonam and he led me to start my first trek in my life. We began with the route for beginners and the view was just too beautiful and astonishing. Being genuine, optimistic, and considerate, Sonam not only took me to trek but also shared a lot of cultural, historical, local things there, such as the food, drinks, the ways of living and so on. It’s also wonderful to share life philosophy to each other as well!!!
I have been to Nepal for three times in eight months. Trek venture Nepal has always been my top priority. Just like by instinct, Sonam can always came up with many creative and interesting ideas about the itineraries based on my different needs and wishes. Anything can be possible in Trek venture Nepal. Anything can be chill in Nepal, too. I’ve been looking forward to being back to Nepal over and over again and exploring unlimited surprises there with Trek venture Nepal 🙂 Thank you for the very good care and wonderful trek and trips.

This was my first time in Nepal and my first time trekking. Sonam and Phura were such excellent guides as well as great hiking companions.
They did so much more than just lead us on the trek to Ama Dablam base camp. We got to learn about their culture and even meet members of their family. They took care of my special dietary requirements, helped everyone with purifying drinking water, and were just all around fun to be with. Felt lucky to have them as our guides.

Our friends decided to take the adventure of a lifetime by signing a trip with the Trek Venture Nepal Team. We were thrilled with the trekking trails and diverse views of Nepal. We made it to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Ri via Chola pass.
It was a lifetime experience with our guide Pasang Sherpa. He is the best guide ever!!

Sonam was an amazing guide. He helped me along the trek especially in the most difficult parts. His expert knowledge about the region was fantastic. He also listened to my needs as well. We were happily back in Kathmandu after the Langtang Valley trek. This trek would not have been amazing without the ground management from the Trek Venture Team.

The tour and Sonam were incredible. He had a lot of experience and was extremely warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped off the plane. I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested, and am very excited to go again.

We had a great time with Sonam and his staff. They looked after us absolutely reliably and ensured our safety. With her friendly manner and good mood, we were able to enjoy the strenuous tour to the Gokyo Lakes.

The trip was amazing. The Himalayas are so beautiful and you just can't take enough pictures.
As our guide Sonam was absolutely the best. The entire trip was planned out perfectly and we didn't have a single issue during the entire trip. While you could take this trip without a guide I believe it was a much more enjoyable and relaxing trip having Sonam. He took care of our transportation, transfers, hotels, tea houses, park fees and certain equipment allowing us just to enjoy this trek without dealing with the little details. I could not recommend Sonam and his company strong enough.

Thank you for the valuable review. Todd Oda made it to Everest base camp and Kalpathar mountain. He is a great hiker, trek companion and a person. We hope to be together in another adventure in near future.
