About Tara Himalayan Vision
Our logo features the beautiful Himalayas, the place where our hearts are and where Tibetan Buddhism has its roots. It symbolizes the union of our passions: The Everest that Pramod adores and the Kopan monastery in Kathmandu representing Maaike’s love for Tibetan Buddhism and Nepal. Maaike and Pramod, a Belgian-Nepal couple, want to touch your soul with their spiritual travels.

We are very grateful to Maaike, Pramod and Raman (and also to Lakman) for making our 3-week visit to Nepal such an unforgettable experience. By bus, jeep, and canoe they guided us through Kathmandu, Bandipur, Pashupatinath, Pokhara, Chitwan National Park, Lumbini, Bardi National Park, Nagarkot, Sarangkot, Patan and Ramkot. They even took us to places tourists normally don’t get to see. Their enthusiasm and love for their country are contagious and moved us deeply. They are a very warm and caring team, very well organized and always ready to help solve last-minute problems and answer questions. The hotels and restaurants were carefully chosen and totally satisfactory. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home. We would not hesitate in recommending Tara Himalayan Vision if you want to get to know Nepal, its culture, its religions, its food, its wildlife and its genuinely friendly and very helpful people. Thank you guys, danebad, you are the best!

September 2019. Together with my son, we did a trekking with Tara Himalayan Vision in Upper Mustang/Nepal for 2 weeks before we went to Bhutan. The feeling of a professional approach was immediately present during the trip planning, their speed of response to my questions and the friendly conversation atmosphere gave a good feeling. Our request to build in some flexibility here and there was super well planned. Arrived in Nepal, we met Pramod and Maaike, the owners of Tara Himalayan Vision together with Raman, our guide, who just returned from another trekking. They talked about Nepal, we immediately experienced their deep love for the country, the people and for each other. So glad we chose them to guide us. Next to the perfectly organized trip, Upper Mustang is mind blowing. Lo Manthang and Chhoser were gems by reflecting the purity of the people, myths and mountains. Without doubt, the great added value of choosing their organization is the many years of experience in Nepal guiding (and knowing the gems) together with Maaike her organizational strength and their incredible deep knowledge about Buddhism and Nepal / Upper Mustang history. After the Bhutan trip, we decided to visit a few more places (Pharping and Patang) with Tara Himalayan Vision before we went back home. Thank you Maaike, Pramod and our super friendly guide Raman for the memories. Your customers are your family.

September 2019 I travelled with Tara Himalayan vision to Nepal for trekking in the region Mustang. All was perfectly organized by Maaike and her team; from information on visa and on what to bring along – especially as a first time traveler to Nepal and trekking holiday it was very comforting. During the trip suggestions where very welcome and any kind of question answered. Our Guide Pramod speaks very well English; knows many back ground facts and does everything to make it a the trip of a lifetime and a truly fantastic experience. As he has been a guide for many years, he knows the places and sights of the beaten track. Next to the organization the absolutely stunning surroundings of Mustang are a mind blowing, this trip I will always cherish in my heart. If you want to experience something really extraordinary this would be the place to go with Tara Himalayan Vision.

I attended a pelgrimage tour with a group organized by Tara Himalayan Vision. Unfortunatly I got ill and had to stay in the hospital for 3 days. Maaike and Pramod from Tara Himalayan Vision took good care of me. They sent me to a very good hospital and arranged everything so I could join the group again afterwards. All the trips were very good organised. Their staff is very friendly and always there to help.If you want to visit Nepal I would recommend Tara Himalyan Vision, because they will make you a trip on your size and your wishes and there will always be support when needed.
