From first contact through to the end of the trek our group was looked after with exceptional care and service from the crew of The Himalaya's. The Helambu trek provides a wide range of incredible cultural and environmental experiences, with top quality service at every stop, even though the locals continue to rebuild from the earthquake. All our needs were met and with utmost care, and any changes in plans were handled efficiently and quickly. I highly recommend organising an incredible trip with The Himalayas. Thanks team!

Very enjoyable trip with personal care by Amos - co founder of The Himalayas Trekking and expedition company. In fact much personal contact pre the trip in preparation for the trip. We were met at the airport by Amos and taken to the Taleyu Boutique Hotel which was a lovely very clean hotel where we were well taken care of. For the first day we had a guided tour of the old city and a welcome dinner and local show. The second day involved much travel time going by car to Pokhara - I would recommend taking a flight and having more time in Pokhara and the surrounding areas. Every stopping place had good coffee though! In Pokhara we had a beautiful boat trip around the Pheua lake - we stayed at the Hotel Dahlia Pokhara which is a lovely hotel with excellent food and service. On the following day early in the morning we went to Sarangkot to view the Himalayas but unfortunately the visibility was not good - so actually the best view we had of the Himalayas was on the plane on the way back home. Next time we would ensure that we visit at the right time of the year when visibility is good. For the rest of the day we visited many places and did some walking - again always good coffee where you would not expect! We travelled back to Kathmandu by car the next day - again we wished we had flown so we would have had more time in Pokhara or Kathmandu. In the evening time to do shopping around the hotel and have dinner with Amos. All in all a wonderful insight into the life in Nepal - the detailed care and attention by Amos made all the difference and we now know we have a real friend in Nepal!

I found the service and response of this travel agency to be excellent. Easily 5-stars. I communicate with them before coming to Nepal via email. My emails were promptly responded and gave me a clear view of my trip before coming to Nepal. They were very much communicative, helpful & informative throughout the tour. This trip was easily the trip of a lifetime for me. Thanks to The Himalayas for making our trip awesome. :D
