We (me and my friend) wanted to connect Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit to a 4 week trek. Because a licensed guide is mandatory on Manaslu Circuit, we searched the Internet for an agency that offered a guide and organization for Manaslu Circuit from Kathmandu to Dahrapani. We chose Nepalorama Trekking - they responded incredibly fast to every mail and organized everything (time, guide, accommodation and additional services like permit organization) as we asked for. Our guide was Bibek. Organization was fantastic and we really enjoyed the trek. Since the weather was very bad when we arrived in Lho - to much snow , so the pass was blocked and therefore closed by the police - we could not go over Larkya Pass and we had to go all the way back to Soti Khola. However, our guide organized a transfer to Besisahar and then further to Chame where we then where able to start our trek on Annapurna Circuit without loosing time. Since the weather was much better on Annapurna Circuit, we made it over ThorongLa Pass and enjoyed the very beautiful landscape :) I definitely can recommend trekking with Nepalorama Trekking.

Hi André, Namaste! Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about your trip, especially given current circumstances in the world. It was a pleasure to organise your trek and meet your requirements, we're only sorry that you weren't able to complete the Manaslu circuit. At least you had amazing weather for the Thorong La Pass! We were happy to hear that you both really enjoyed your time in Nepal, despite things not going completely to plan. If we can help you with anything Nepal related in the future, please let us know! We wish you both all the best and stay safe. Many thanks again, Anna, Krishna and Bibek :-)

We are pack of 4. Two sons 20and15 years old. I AM 52. We have a wonderful trip to Ananpura base camp. Budhi is our guide. He is very cheerful , helpful and patient. He suggest us to buy crampons. At the first time we think it is not necessary but we still buy them. For the second day we have used it. It is slippery When snow turn into ice. He give us about daily walkingplan. How long and how hard for trekking every day. He try doing everything that we ask for. We suggest that everyone who would like to trek in Nepal must have mountain guide. It is very necessary.we are very happy and satisfy with Budhi ,Krishna and also Anna.Eventhough this is a small company ,but its competency is very good.

Hi Antionette, Namaste! Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review! We're really happy that you and your family had a once in a lifetime experience with us! You're right - we're a small team, but it means we can deliver the best and most personal service to each and every one of our clients. Thanks for mentioning the crampons, I will be adding a section on our website about trekking in winter, to make it even easier for our clients to prepare when trekking in late November and December. We wish you all the best and thank you again for putting your trust in us! Anna, Krishna and Buddhi :-)

We are a couple at 40s from Japan, who had never trekked anywhere outside of Japan, and had never trekked higher than 3000m or longer than 3 days before. However, trekking in Nepal had been my dream for years... so we finally decided to put it into action while we still can walk! As almost beginner trekker and 1st timer to Nepal, we chose Nepalorama Trekking due to its excellent reviews on trip advisor. Indeed, our trip was not only as good as the reviews, this trip actually exceeds our expectations in so many ways... i must say that although we had travelled to quite some countries and booked quite some activities by different ways before, this is by far one of our MOST SATISFYING, MOST REWARDING trip!! It changed our world! And our coordinator ANNA and guide BIBEK GURUNG are both outstanding good! Since our communication by emails several months before the trip, Anna had already promptly and patiently answered our every little questions... at the time we already felt that we had chosen the right company. Our guide Bibek greeted us at our hotel since we arrived KTM. Since then he took the flight with us to Pokhara and take care everything for us. Between 2 of us, we asked for a guide & a porter to help us. Some may say it’s not necessary... but we had seen other exhausting trekkers, or trekkers with other guides missing the best slights, walking in the cold... again and again proved that we had made a correct decision. Bibek is very informative, familiar with the places/weather and has good connections with local teahouses etc. He planned the routes smartly, always makes sures we gets the best/most spacious room in the teahouse, get to the teahouse no later than 3-4pm, so within 8 days to ABC, we were pretty much walking under the sun everyday despite it was end of Dec., and all the slights were just picture perfect! Bibek also tells us a lot about the lives of Nepaleses, mountain villagers, guides & porters... I’m very happy to not only see the places, but also feel the local people & lovely animals (buffalos, donkeys, horses, goats, chickens, dogs...) along the way. It was really eye-opening and amazing. Bibek always tries to satisfy our every wish, we are deeply touched by the warmth and friendly nature of nepalese people. 8-day ABC trek may sound tough, but i can tell you that with the right guide and porter, it is totally possible, even for beginners or older people. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Nepalorama Trekking and Bibek to anyone cares to challenge trekking in Nepal! You will not be disappointed! P.S. We also would like to recommend anyone trekking ABC in Winter time to bring a pair of champ-ons and warm sleeping bag. Somewhere near the top could be quite icy.

Ana and Krishna were very helpful from the beginning. They created a very individual plan that fit my time budget and my trekking desires. Krishna and I had a great time on the trek. I enjoyed the quietness of the place and on the otherhand learning about nepal. The trip is more expensive than other agencies but a fair price for mountain guides is important. The one thing I would wish are better driving conditions. Part of this is due to nepali road conditions but it was also partially due to the driver‘s way overtaking. Thank you very much for this short but beautiful trip. I will come back for more trekking

Hi Anais, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're glad that you found us to be helpful and that you had a great time on the trek! You're right that we're slightly more expensive than some other agencies because we insist on paying our people fairly. So many companies don't and as a result, Nepali guides and porters are unable to support their families - it's very sad. It's also much more expensive when you choose to travel by private jeep (7 hours each way), especially when you're trekking alone. Nepal is still a developing country and the road conditions are poor in many places. But Krishna and our guides will never risk your safety when travelling by road. Next time, if you have more time to trek, you can choose another region and take a domestic flight instead. Thank you for choosing Nepalorama, knowing that we trek responsibly and take care of our people. We wish you all the best and hope to see you again in the future! Anna and Krishna :-)
