We did an unforgettable trek in Mustang in August and can highly recommend the company and region - very well organised (reasonable day treks), stunningly beautiful and diverse landscapes, welcoming lodges, excellent food (even in higher altitude) and an absolutely friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable guide.
We highly recommend to go to Mustang in "rainy season" - we didn't have to walk in rain at all!!
The only disadvantage are many construction areas on the road - maybe ask for alternative routes.

Special thanks to Mystic Himalaya and our guide Mukund for an adventurous, unforgettable and mystically beautiful trek in the former kingdom. We even met the prince ;)

Absolutely amazing. Binoy and his team were professional, informative, adaptable, and overall wonderful. If/when I go back to Nepal I will only trek/climb with Mystic Himalaya. Binoy planned the trip according to our goals and took care of all the logistics even when contingency plans were necessary. He is extremely knowledgeable about Nepal, the local culture, the wild life, and the mountains. Spending time with Binoy, Pemba, and Bim was a pleasure. I can not give Mystic Himalaya higher praise.

Obviously, nothing beats the breath taking beauty of Nepal, but with Binoy and his team your experience becomes so much more than that. The amount of care and service these men put into insuring your enjoyment, safety and comfort is unbelievable. You feel like a member of the royal family who walks in the middle of beautiful nowhere for many miles many days in a row. Very unique and magical experience that you couldn't replicate with anyone else.

I'm happy to tell you about my recent trip to Nepal. I was invited by my best friend to join him on a mission trip to Nepal which included some days of trekking culminating in visiting Everest Base Camp. The group was organized and led by Dr. Harold Pine and Binoy Rai in contract with Mystic Himalaya. In my 32 years of age and countless trips it has become possibly my favorite and most memorable trip.

We flew into Kathmandu and I was impressed immediately upon arrival by the airport building which was rustic and had a distinct Himalayan flair to it. The reception team was waiting for us and quickly counted us all present and loaded us into vans and transported us to the excellent Kathmandu Guest House. The hotel was an excellent accommodation which has been visited by the Beatles and many other celebrities. From there the trip really began. A yoga instructor was brought to start our day with relaxing yoga and breathing exercises to acclimate more comfortably. We were then by bus to several touristic sites in Kathmandu. Our guides were friendly from the beginning not knowing we would eventually come to deeply appreciate and respect them.

We soon flew to Phaplu and then drove to Deusa were we offered our services in a medical clinic and established a computer lab under the organization of Bill and Orna Berryman. This part of the trip is where we first got to experience the wonderful care of our sherpas and guides as well as the hospitality of the Nepalese people. We were even treated to a very gracious celebration by the town of Deusa thanking us for our services.

Our trekking began as we were picked up by a caravan of helicopters who ferried us to Lukla airport were we began our well trodden journey in the foots steps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. We made stops at many wonderful towns including the picturesque Namche Bazaar and the barren Gorak Shep. We took in breathtaking vistas and ascended equally breathtaking elevations in stride with our sherpas and porters. We were spoiled daily with hot drinks, snacks, and delicious meals day in day out. All our logistics were masterfully planned and executed by Binoy and his team leaving us only to worry about making sure we put one foot in front of the other up and down the mountain paths.

Eventually we arrived to Gorak Shep, the intersection between Base Camp and mount Kalapathar. Only the eldest couple in our group was not able to make the two trips to each goal and back. Thanks to our amazing support crew which allowed us very high morale and constant attention we were able to accomplish these difficult goals with little more than muscle soreness and some well earned calluses. The return trek to Kathmandu was challenging because we covered the same return distance at about three times the speed. It was also difficult accepting that it was almost time to leave this magical country and return to our regular lives.

I sincerely thank Harold and Binoy for making this possibly once in a lifetime trip a reality and the crew for making a usually grueling trek a downright pleasure.

Liz and I recently had the most wonderful adventure trekking through Nepal, HUGE thanks to Binoy and his team. Binoy planned and lead a unique Himalayan Trek for 20 of us. The 15 day group adventure provided an unforgettable experience. We trekked the Annapurna Region for 11 days and Binoy also organised excellent accommodation, great dinners and some personal tours in Kathmandu and Pokhara before and after our trek. Binoy left nothing to chance, his local knowledge, superior logistics and planning skills are second to none. The joy on his staff members faces as they pampered us with excellent three course meals three times a day in such remote and beautiful locations was priceless. We highly recommend Binoy and his team for the adventure of a lifetime.

I researched a lot of companies before choosing someone to organize the trek for my group of 20. I needed a custom planned 15-day trek designed to fit the specific needs of my group and Binoy planned a route that was ideal for our needs. From the moment we arrived in Nepal till the moment we left we experienced top notch service and attention. Binoy had an entire kitchen and crew accompanying us on the trek to ensure we had top quality food every step of the way. They were able to accommodate the needs of a variety of dietary restrictions and all the food was so good. I knew this would be a fun trip but thanks to Mystic Himalaya it actually exceeded all my expectations. I’m so happy with the trip that I’m already planning to do it again next November.

Fabulous experience thanks to the highly professional trek with Mystic Himalayas Trekking & Expedition. All aspects of the two-week trek were well planned and organized, with initial orientation and team building in Kathmandu to the final return flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. The trek leader, Binoy Rai, and all support personnel ensured a very safe trek with attention to all important details including sanitary preparation of nutritional food, safe drinking water, camping accommodations and first aid medical supplies. We had a group of 20 trekkers with a wide range of trekking experience and Binoy and his support crew ensured that everyone had a great experience with emphasis on safety and maximum enjoyment of the trek. I recommend Binoy Rai and Mystic Himalayas Trekking & Expedition as a top notch trekking organization and plan to go on other trekking adventures with them in the future. My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week trip with 20 now new friends in the Himalaya's. An absolute trip of a lifetime and much heartfelt thanks to Binoy and his wonderful team of kind, courteous, professional sherpas, porters and chefs. Our every need was taken care of sometimes before we even knew we needed it! Even when negotiating the more tricky parts of the trek there was always a helping hand from a Sherpa. Hygiene, safety and comfort....right down to being woken every morning with a hot cuppa and a warm washcloth at every meal. The food was something special and plenty, 2nd and 3rd helpings, don't expect to lose weight on this trip! A hot meal was even served for lunch on the track most days. The tents, sleeping bags and supplied puffer jackets were of the highest quality and we were warm and comfortable. It was a trek full of culture and meeting locals as we passed through villages with our sherpas always happy to translate for us adding to the experience of learning about this beautiful country and its people.
We recommend Binoy and his team without hesitation, this is a must do Bucket List trip!

My wife and I just completed a 2 week camping trek with Mystic Himalayan. We were part of a rather large group of 20 people and our route was from Pokhara, West to Panchase and North thru Bhadure, Australian Camp, Gandruk, Kot Danda, Jhinu Danda, and South through Syauli Bazar.
The views of Annapurna South and “Fishtail” (Macha Puchre?) were fantastic!
It was obvious from the very beginning that our trek leader Binoy Rai had done this many times before!
His crew of Sherpas, Porters, Cooks and support staff were top notch and anticipated our every need!
(The hot coffee delivered to our tent first thing in the morning was a particularly nice touch!)
We will not hesitate to book with them again for our next adventure!

Had the absolute privilege to trek nearly 2 weeks in the Annapurna region with the leadership and expert support of Mystic Himalaya’s crew. Too many individuals to name them all- but the porters, cooks, sherpas and other staff who accompanied us were first rate, deeply lovely and professional people. Our safety, security, health and happiness were prioritized above all. The experience was deeply transformative and having the opportunity to do it while in the capable hands of Mystic Himalaya’s team. I can not recommend them enough whether you’re experienced trekkers or not. Cannot say thanks enough!
