We were planning our Nepal trek and were extremely fortunate to find Sherpa Society.

From the very first contact, Meena Sherpa was responsive and helpful in every aspect.

We mentioned an area we wanted to trek - Annapurna Base Camp - and gave the amount of time we wanted to trek. We asked for extra sites to visit, and all requests were accomodated and guided expertly.

In addition to the ABC trek we took an excursion to Poon Hill along the way. Our guide and porter Mohan and Roshan Rai were excellent in securing lodging and all accomodations along the way. They were patient and kind with our pace and requests.

The food in Nepal is very fresh and wonderful. The variety and selection is extensive. The fruits and vegetables are abundant and the preparation and presentation is great. Two of my favorites are Momos and lemon pancakes. We had fresh eggs every morning. The tea is great to start an end each day. We also enjoyed a cold beer in the evening.

Sherpa Society helped us with all transportation arrangements, from jeep to taxi to domestic air travel needs. We flew from Kathmandu to Pokara to begin our trek. After 14 days trekking, we returned to Pokara. After visiting the sites in Pokara for a few days, we went by car to Bandipur and stayed to see more of this beautiful area. As we returned to Kathmandu, we stayed a last couple days and were fortunate to go with our guide Meena to visit Patan.

It was facinating to realize the geographic area and population density of Nepal compared to my home state of Montana in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

There are more things to do and see in Nepal. I would definitely go back, and I would consider myself fortunate to have the services of Sherpa Society on my next adventure. I would spend more time in Bandipur and Patan. I would love to learn more about the culture and customs in Nepal.

Meena Sherpa is very knowledgeable, an expert about her culture. She is passionate about sharing her love of Nepal. I would recommend asking her for advice and input in planning your trip to Nepal.

We went on the Makalu Base Camp Trek. The guide and porters were exceptional and were in tune to our needs.. The mountains are amazing but so are the villages along the way. The people of Nepal are what make the trip memorable. Meena did an amazing job setting up the trek. After the trek we reached out to Meena to help us in the exploration of Nepal. She mapped out places for us to visit, set us up with amazing drivers and places to stay. When we originally arrived in Katmandu we hired a driver and guide and they took us to the tourist spots. We then took an additional tour, in the Kathmandu area, with Meena and she was a wealth of information. She knows so much about the history of her country and people and she presents it in a way that you want to continue to learn more. Would highly recommend the company for all of your Nepal travel needs.

The Sherpa society, especially Meena as a manager and Tshering Sherpa as my guide provided an excellent service during my stay in Nepal. I have done 3 passes trek in October 2022 and everything was organized on a very professional level - that means transportation, accommodation, guiding services and overall communication. I can hereby recommend shepa society for future visitors of amazing Nepal.

We spent nearly 3 weeks trekking in the Solukhumbu region. Sherpa Society Trekking made it possible to have a totally personalised & flexible itinerary as we didn’t just want to do the standard EBC trek. Our guide Dawa was amazing and gave us a great insight into the history and future of the region! Big thanks also to Meena for organising everything! It was my first trekking experience that I will certainly hold in good memory! Thank you!

First of all I would like to send big thanks for organizing this trip to Sherpa society Trekking especially to Meena and our guide Laxman, it was amazing experience which we will remeber for the rest of our lifes, the trail and mountains were amazing, challenging and probably most beautiful I have ever seen. Everything around us was changing everyday as we moved higher and higher, the experience and staying out of comfort zone in cold was also great part of this journey.. so was the food, people on the trail and especially we enyjoed great time with our guide Laxman as he was always supportive, kind and helped us a lot during the trail. Thank to his experience we also learned a lot of new things about the mountains and Nepal culture. I can 100% recommend to go for this trail as it is definitely one of best trail in the world. Sherpa Society is based on our experience best agency which can help you with permits and guidance - they are very profesional, amazing, kind people and they know what they are doing.. Wish you amazing trip and great weather :)

The whole trip was just amazing. Magnificent views to mountains, passing through the jungle, lot of animals sightseeing,(monkeys, horses, yaks, eagles, vultures), digital detox for 11 days, lot of monasteries, kind people and mostly nice and affordable accommodation. Arranging our itinerary with Meena was smooth, Meena was very helpful, she even booked our flights from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Our guide Roshan and porter Dawa are really nice people, it was a great company for 12 days as we had a lot of laughter. The accommodation arranged by Roshan was mostly very clean and the food was delicious. To sum it up, We amde the right choice to pick a Sherpa Society for our hiking adventure. We would recommend this organization to anyone.

We spent an unforgettable three weeks in the mountains around the Manaslu Peak. The beatiful scenery, giants around us and Tibetian spirit we encountered on the trail will stay with us forever. We also loved the hospitatlity and kidness of the local people. Especially, our guide Laxman who was very experienced and ensured we felt safe and comfortable, and our porter Pasang who was always smiling despite carrying loads we could not even imagined. Finally a special thanks to Meena, who arrenged everything for us in advance, ensuring a smooth experience after our arrival and during our stay in Nepal. Thank you for the amazing time.

just finished the 3 Passes Trek a few Days ago, absolutely stunning, and fantastic, a little demanding, in some Places, but very very rewarding in every Aspect. As a almost 60 Year "Worldtraveller" since 35 Years I got pampered and so well looked after from the Sherpa Society, I never ever aspected. If you read this and planning a Hiking Trip, anywhere in the Himalays, stop looking, book.
Highly Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!

In the middle of our trek around Manaslu weather was changing and we were stranded in Sama gaon village. So we were evacuated by helicopter and after that started problem with our insurance company. Meena was very helpful even if we were a few weeks back at home. Now tug of war with insurance company had a good end.
Thanks to Meena again,
Jan

We organized our 17 day trekking to the Three Pases and Base Camp Everest in Khumbu Region with Sherpa Society. We had the time of our lives, our guide Ngawang was amazing and we not only got to see the magnificent views of the Himalayas but we really exchanged with the locals. Sherpa Society organized everything perfectly, we were in touch at all times and the full trek was simply amazing. They adjusted when we had some minor altitude problems and we will always be grateful for their support.
