Very, very reliable trekking agency, willing to help with any kind of our demands! I cooperate with them many years (I have experience with more nepal agencies), but I will stay by this one!

just finished the 3 Passes Trek a few Days ago, absolutely stunning, and fantastic, a little demanding, in some Places, but very very rewarding in every Aspect. As a almost 60 Year "Worldtraveller" since 35 Years I got pampered and so well looked after from the Sherpa Society, I never ever aspected. If you read this and planning a Hiking Trip, anywhere in the Himalays, stop looking, book.
Highly Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing organisation for our group of 10 friends. Ang Nuru, Guide, and assistant guides Dawa and Kumar could not have been more helpful. Solving any difficulties and always with a big smile. They got a group of trekkers aged between 50 and 75 to Everest Base Camp and back - brilliant, caring and were very much part of our group and were with us every step of the way with much merriment.

From start to finish we were amazed at the efficiency of this well established company. We only gave the company 6-days notice & with Dashian festival starting, all strings were pulled to get us flights, accommodation, transport, guide & porter! We had time to visit old Kathmandu with a knowledgeable guide, 5-days trekking in the lovely lowlands of Annapurna with guide & porter, a flight past Everest & a fascinating stay Chitwan Nature Reserve. Communication with the company was reliable, clear & immediate. We hope to go back next year to the fresh air of the mountains & beautiful country. Our agent, Meena Sherpa, gets 6🌟 from us.

What an amazing trek we had this past week through the Langton Valley to Kyangjin Gumba. With snow capped mountains all along the way and lovely tea houses all the way along if you’re feeling tired. How humbling to see the progress the little villages are making post the earthquake, with Kyangjin Gumba to me being the highlight. A big thank you to the Sherpa Society for arranging our trek and the last minute changes we made and for providing us with the most wonderful guide Raju and Min our awesome porter, it couldn’t be done without them. Hopefully friends for life. Thank you from Lisa and Christine. We will be back. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The second time I have been with this company, both times Meena has been friendly and professional at organising treks for me along with a trip to Chitwan at very short notice. Mohan and Laxman are both friendly and pleasant guys to spend time with whilst trekking.

We used Sherpa Society Trekking for a 3 week Kanchenjunga trek. Meena was fantastic. The other reviews are true! Very well organized, dependable, thought of every detail, went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, and set us up with a quality guide. Our guide, Mingma Tenji Sherpa, was truly outstanding. Some of the accommodations along the Kanchenjunga trek are very basic. In addition, I am celiac and my husband is type I diabetic. Mingma always oversaw the cooking of our food and we were never sick. He knew the route well, even taking us on a different trail one very hot day so we could hike in the shade to our destination. Mingma is also knowledgeable about plants, which added an interesting dimension to our trek. He is incredibly kind, considerate, patient (we take a lot of pictures and bird watch) and fun to be with. He is also considerate and engaging with people in villages along the trail which enriched our experience. The only hiccup in our trip was that we were not able to pay Sherpa Society Trekking with a credit card because they were having problems with their credit card company. Make sure you are able to do a wire transfer, or have the needed amount in cash.

I just returned to UK after another unforgettable trip to Nepal, thanks to Sherpa Society. It’s my second time using their services - and Meena has been great as usual, carefully planning our trek, adapting it specifically to our needs and ensuring we acclimatized sufficiently on the Annapurna circuit. Meena was proactive in sending us useful information for the trek as well. Meena is always quick to respond to questions and requests. Even off trek, Meena gave us good advice in Pokhara and Kathmandu - even helped us make bookings in Kathmandu!

Our assigned guide on the trek, Raju, looked after us very well on the trek and happily improvised/replaned part of the trek after we had some problems with our knees - including booking in advance at some lodges (which he knew was overcrowded due to the local festival/holidays). We enjoyed Raju’s company very much.

For our next Nepal/Tibet trip, we will for sure be using Sherpa Society again! Highly recommend them for their expertise, professionalism and the kind nature of their staff.

Booked a trip with Sherpasociety for 10 days Khumbu Region. Meena organized the flights Kathmandu to Lhukla, all permits, Sherpa and porter. Our guide Ang Nuru Sherpa was a pleasant knowledgable man who was very helpful and organized everything we asked for perfectly. On the way back from Everest view hotel, he organized a helicopter through his connections from Syangboche airport for a fraction of the price! 500 Usd instead 3000 Usd for up to 6 people. I can recommend Ang Nuru for everyone. He has good command of the English language. He also seems to know anyone in the khumbu region.

I take guided tour quite seldom as a bad guide can easily spoil the whole vacation. This time I had my elder parents with me doing Manaslu trek and in the end I was quite happy that I took a guided trek from Sherpa Society instead of doing it all alone. I was quite happy with the organisation and the guide we had, very professional making the trek as comfortable as possible and solving the issues to allow you to focus on the trek and your emotions.

Quite positive experience highly recommended for anyone looking for a guided trek. And our greetings and gratitude to Mohan, Bipim and Meena!
