I travelled with Nepal Adventure Point in May 2016 in the Langtang area for 3 weeks. I chose this region on the advice from NAP, trekking in a place where we can appreciate the Himalayan culture, the mountains and the wildlife of Nepal.
The itinerary made by NAP was very interesting and varied, and so easy to walk. It was beautiful every day. We followed the way of Tamang Trek. In this part I visited very pretty villages and spectacular landscape and met some friendly people of the Tamang ethnic group and saw the traditional lifestyle, working, art craft and culture of the Himalayan people. Gatlang, Thuman are particularly interesting villages to see, and I saw beautiful viewing points, particularly in Nagthali. The nature is so beautiful in this place, I appreciated the delicate flowers, the colourfull large butterflies and the variety of birds.
We crossed the Bhose Kashi Nadi valley and travelled by following the way to Langtang, until Kyanjin Gumba. This way was fabulous for seeing nature and the wildlife, and it was very varied between the jungle where I saw a lot of attractive birds and monkeys, the way along the Langtang river which is so quiet and beautiful around River Side, and with the view of the high mountains in Kyanjin Gompa. I also saw interesting Buddhist signs around Langtang. In Kanji Gompa the view of the mountains are a must-see. We went to the top of Cherko Ri (5200 m) from the village of Kyanjin Gompa where we can appreciate a magnificent view of the Yala Peak.
We came back via Lama Hotel and went on the way to Gosaikunda and Laurebinayak Pass. Gosaikunda is an other must-see in the Langtang area. I was surprised by the nature in this place, a nice lake than we can walk around, where the mountains reflect in the water, which makes a beautiful reflection. simply stunning. I was impressed by the landscape and the ambiance of Gosaikunda which is a holy place where we can appreciate the quite and the beauty. We were lucky because there was some snow, and the landscape was most beautiful. Because of the bad weather, unfortunately we didn’t passed the Laurebinayak pass. So we came back by the same way.Instead, on the way back to Katmandu, we visited the village of Yarsa. A great suggestion from the Nap guide. It’s an interesting place for seeing the beautiful landscape with terraces crops.
The itinerary made by NAP was fabulous for the trekker who wants to see and experience the mountains, the nature, the wildlife, meet Nepali people and some different ethnic groups of Nepal in the same trip. In three weeks I saw a lot of must-sees like Gatlang, Thuman, Kyanjin Gompa, Gosaikunda and Yarsa. It was interesting to meet the Tamang ethnic group and see their lifestyle, seeing wonderful nature and unusual wildlife, …. All the organization of transport, housing, food was irreproachable, and the guide was very friendly and gave me all the information I needed.

We’ve just come back from the most fabulous adventure with the guys from Nepal Adventure Point. Our guide Padam was extremely helpful, he personally took us out to see Kathmandu, and the local way of life as well as the ancient temples.
The Poon Hill Trek itself was incredible, we spent 6 days walking the Annapurna trail staying in the traditional foothill villages, and getting up early to see the sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, which is awesome. This was my first overnight hike so we’d chosen a moderate route and Padam kept the pace easy so I could keep up! He’s an expert Everest guide and a really nice guy with some great stories of his expeditions. The young porter Prakish is learning the routes and improving his English, so he can go on to be a guide in the future.
After the hike we chilled out by Pokhara Lakeside for a couple of days and then went down for a wildlife safari in Chitwan National Park. We got back to Kathmandu just in time for the Dipawali festival, when the whole city is lit up with oil lamps and lights!
Nepal Adventure Point is run by BB Bhandari an extremely professional and helpful man who is devoted to promoting sustainable tourism in Nepal. This company took the time to advise us personally on every aspect of the trip, the best time of year to travel and the most suitable route, and they sorted out all the hiking permits, transport and accommodation. We had a marvelous time and are already planning to come back next year!

My partner and I completed the 5 day Poon Hill trek with Nepal Adventure Point. While being a slightly lower altitude trek, the views were sensational and we were able to see the Himalayas from many different view points. The company was fantastic, especially out guide Padam, who catered for all our needs and was clearly very experienced. He was really informative and had great English so was able to tell us all about the local culture and Nepalese lifestyle. They also organised great tea houses for us to stay in which were really clean and cosy and provided great food (especially the dal baht!). I would recommend the Poon Hill trek to anyone of any age. There are many different trails which take you through subtropical jungle, pine forests and cold desert. You pass through many villages which are fascinating and we found all the locals to be warm and friendly.
You cannot miss out on this awesome opportunity! I would definitely go back again to do another trek with Nepal adventure point :)

I have completed the Tamang Heritage two week trek organized by Nepal Adventure Point. It's one of the most beautiful trails I ever made. The trek was amazing, everything was brilliant, specially the old typical houses, people and their life style and don't miss Nagthali view point. I have had a wonderful time with Padam, he prepared one of the best Dhal bhats I ever had.

My first visit to Nepal on 2015 with my wife Christine and 2 kids aged 11 and 13 year old. This time we only touring in city and visit Chitwan National Park and some small tours to Nagarcot and Dulikhel. Our second time we plan to make Ghorepani Poon Hill with my wife and her brother Michael. One of my lifelong goals was visit Nepal for memories of my Late father Norbert who made several trek in Nepal with BB. Now BB has his own trekking company. My father usually explaining me about Nepal and Himalayas and forcing me to go to Nepal though I planned to visit Nepal. Mr. Padam (Younger brother of BB) was our guide. A perfect working. We are thinking to go to Nepal again in the near future and would like to do another trek again with our kids. Nepal is a very impressive country for us.

I began my trip to Nepal from 1997 and make some popular treks in Nepal. Â I have met BB as Guide for our Upper Mustang trek. He was very familiar, knowledgeable on Mustang region. He is very funny, as we as knew exactly how much and when to push us. Unforgettable experience of my Mustang trekking is riding small horse, once I felt during the ride horse to Lo Gekar.
I had another trek with other two friends to Tsum valley. The Tsum Valley is really tempting for the trekkers. The most attraction is unique and historic monasteries, including Mu Gompa and Rachen Gompa, Mani wall and prayer flags. This time our guide Pukar (Older brother of BB) was very funny, helpful, and knowledgeable about the mountains, culture and everything else. I have no doubt to recommend Nepal Adventure Point to anyone to use service who intends to travel Nepal.

I did a trekking with Nepal Adventure Point last year in October, with my family (two children 7 and 9) and few other friends. We did the An approach trekking during 10 days walking. I must say it has been an incredible experience, with impressive landscapes all along the way, and having the chance of meeting with local people and staying in their houses (tea houses along the trekking). We were walking around 4 to 6 hours a day, with gentle rhythm for my children (sometimes helped by the porters) enjoying the walk, landscape, exploring the amazing flora and fauna for the joy of my girls. We reached more than 3,500 mts but the trek itself is gentle and perfectly feasible also if you are not fit and for children possibilities. We really enjoyed and will never forget that experience!
I must say that NAP has been extremely effective and professional as trekking agency (I heard from some friends about bad experience with other low quality agencies...), both with the trekking organisation 100% tailored to our needs, and with very good guides and porters who made us feel safe all the time.
All details were well organised along the trek, food excellent and variated in the guest and tea houses along the trek, and they always gave us some flexibility in order to adapt to any last minute issue.
I would definitely recommend NAP for a beautiful experience in Nepal!
