About
Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour, where you are taken to see Mount Everest, gives you a quick look of the Everest region finally allowing you to land on Everest Base Camp or Kalapathar. This Helicopter tour of Everest is so far the best Ariel tour in the world. Everest Base Camp Helicopter Landing Tour starts from Kathmandu, flying towards the beautiful Sherpa village and the gateway to Everest, Lukla. After fueling in Lukla, the flight starts flying towards Everest Base Camp. The flight goes over the Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorakshep and Khumbu glacier to reach the Everest Base camp. This ultimate helicopter ride gives you some of the best mountain views and sceneries. You will be given a maximum of 10 minutes of landing time at Everest Base Camp due to the altitude threat. And on the way back, you will be given 30 minutes at Hotel Everest View to take Breakfast or tea/coffee with excellent views of Mt. Everest and its range. Further, you will fly back to Lukla and then to Kathmandu.

I just returned from my fantastic trip to Everest base camp by helicopter. It was a wonderful experience. I booked a group joining helicopter tour as private trip was out of my budget. I enjoyed the company with other passenger of the flight. We chat a lot while waiting for the flight and had a lovely breakfast together at Hotel Everest view. The booking process was very easy and the company contacts me just right after I made the booking. They provide the very helpful tips before going on the flight. While we flew to Lukla, the weather on the way was not good and worried, we may not see the mountains, but when we go higher locations, the weather become more clear and clear. The landing in Kalapattar was amazing experience. We saw the many mountains including Mount Everest just in front of us which were unbelievable experience. If you are visiting Nepal and want to see the Himalayas, nothing can be better then Everest base camp helicopter tour. Highly highly recommended.

Arriving at Kathmandu International Airport at 4.30am was painful, as was the $130.00 airfare!

Yet, after we were all strapped into our seats in the twin-engine 26 seater aircraft, we were soon up and away before the daily mist, fog and smog descended upon Kathmandu Airport. Excitement was already setting-in as we passed many snow-topped mountains on the way to the last mountain, which was Everest. It was an amazing early morning trip, worth far more than the asking price! Visibility was fantastic; information on the mountains we passed was excellent; and whilst aboard the flight attendants serve lemonade and little sweets.

Believe me; if you have an extra few dollars to spend, this is as close as you will get to Mount Everest for just $130.00!!!!

I would recommend this trip to anyone as this was an astonishing experience which you will never forget! But don’t forget …. you have to be at the airport at 4.30am!! If you can manage this, you won’t be disappointed! I believe most travel agents in Kathmandu provide this service and can book you a seat for a small fee.

We did several flights whilst in Nepal and the system appears to be; the more you pay for your ticket the more you are guaranteed a seat!

Beware!! Some agents will tell you your flight is full (perhaps for the next few days!) and then charge you extra to get you a flight that day when the flight wasn’t full at all!!

Sad as it may appear, some Nepalese sleep at the airport for days waiting to get their cheap flight back to their village/home.

I had extremely limited window of time to do anything and was thinking about skipping Nepal for this trip. But I as I had a 96 hour window and was already nearby in New Delhi I took the gamble.
Normally I am a budget traveler and would not have considered this trip, as it is very expensive. My boss however wanted to do this trip and did not want to do it alone.... can you say "paid for by my boss"? Well it's a game changer. I could get used to Luxury traveling.
The bottom line is that if you can afford the price of the trip do it! The excursion is shocking! Starting with the nail biting landing in Lukla to the beautiful views of the glaciers and peaks. The actual landing and time at the base camp is not the highlight of the trip, it is the flying to get there.
I am going back when I have time and at that time I will do the hike into the base camp and it will be more impressive since I have the memories of the flight.
I could not have gone to base camp any other way with my limited time.
Again, if you have the funds available for this trip do it. I have done a lot of travelling, to 46 US states and 67 countries and this is the highlight of all my travelling .

I want to first say that I hope I am reviewing the right company. I was unsure when picking from Trip Advisor. A group of us went on the Mountain Flight to see Mt Everest. We boarded an airplane at Kathmandu airport. We were guaranteed a window seat and we each had a window. But, it was difficult to see or take pictures out the windows because they were filthy. Some of our group had propellers in the way of viewing Everest. The left side of the plane saw Mt Everest. But, the pilot turned the plane too soon and the front ride side of the plane didn’t see it. One of the company’s ad picture shows the plane closer to Everest. But, we could only see the top of the mountain. We should have been given our money back. Do not waste your money.

Thank you Kabin for a beautiful tour of Nepal including the Everest base camp helicopter for your group. The arrangements were perfectly managed and everything was on time. The flight to Everest base camp was once in a lifetime experience. The weather was perfect in the upper part (Base camp and Kalapattar area) but the lower parts were full of clouds. We have seen mountains including the world's highest mountain Mt. Everest very clearly and the view from Kalapattar was spectacular. The briefing before the trip was exactly the same while we were on tour.

Thank you Kabin for arranging Everest base camp helicopter tour with landing at Kalapattar. We had great time and enjoyed a lot. The 360 views of the Himalayas from Kalapattar was one of the best experience we had in our life. If you are going Everest by helicopter, book directly with Kabin and his WhatsApp number is +977 9851058826. Highly recommended tour company.
