My partner and I completed our Langtang Trek with guide Sofi and his wife Bipasa. It took us 6 days to complete with one night at altitude at Khanjin Gumba (3875m). What a fantastic experience it was!

Food: Eating Dal Baht and drinking Masala Tea twice a day fuelled us very well. For the adventurist, try Dal Baht with dried Yak curry - it's an experience. I can also recommend Roti Tarkari or Tsmpa porridge for breakfast.

Itinerary: We ascended to Sherpagoan on day 1 and stayed at Pasang's guest house - our favourite tea house of the trip. Pasang and Tashi Lama were so accommodating and cooked a fantastic dal baht using the freshest ingredients picked from their mountain-side garden. Next we ascended to Langtang Village, a very long day, and then up to Khanjin Gumba the next. The day we arrived at Khanjin Gumba we also ascended Khanjin Ri, which provided amazing views of Langtang Lirung and the surrounding valley. Our only regret was skipping a day on the ascent, which led to a bit of mild AMS. Sofi reacted well by monitoring us and making us descend to a lower altitude village. Prior to descending we did a short day hike up towards Kangja La Pass Basecamp, which apparently provided better views up the valley than Tserko Ri. This day hike was fabulous, as we hiked passed frozen lakes and up through an alpine forest full of beautiful wildlife. Whilst descending over the next 2 days, we rapidly recovered from AMS and very much so enjoyed the jungle hiking along the raging river. We were able to glimpse monkeys, squirrels and deer!

Overall, this hike was amazing and I can't recommend Himalaya View Treks enough for their logistical support and guided tour. Sofi was a wealth of knowledge throughout, provided very entertaining comradery and selected a great bunch of tea houses in each village to stay at. We are excitedly (and tiredly) looking forward to starting the Manaslu Trek straight after the Langtang with Sofi also as our guide!

We went to Nepal with 6 friends to do the anapurna Thorang la pass trek. Due to the many reviews we have chosen Himalayan view trek. Our guide was DB and we were given an extensive briefing in advance on what exactly to bring and what to expect. Now we were really ready. The next day we left. The transport to the trek was neatly arranged for us. Once working on the trek it was fantastic. Very beautiful landscapes in the Himalayan mountains. The hike itself was doable if you have a normal to good condition. DB took care of all the text and explanations about the different mountains and fun facts about the district we were in. Every evening after dinner (included in the price just as well as breakfast and lunch) DB did a round with feedback, how you felt and if there were any questions about the day. After that it was nice chatting and even making music together with the porters. It is an experience I will never forget and I would recommend everyone to book treks at Himalayan view if you want to go hiking.

Having done some research into viable trekking companies with regards to the Everest base camp trek we settled on Himalaya view treks. The reason for this was the fact they accommodated to our needs -- a private trek and cost coupled with the reviews they had already received. Throughout the process leading up to the day we landed in Kathmandu the communication was excellent. Any questions needing answered were done so in quick time through WhatsApp.

Once we were there we were met with a smile on arrival at the airport by our guide, Sofi. This was the beginning of a fantastic friendship in the following couple of weeks. Unfortunately, due to the Nepali weather in the preceding weeks, transport to lukla wasn't easy. The clouds up there are notorious for closing the airport for days even weeks and our flights from ramechhap were cancelled for a few days which led to the jeopardy of not completing our trek to EBC. Thanks to Sofi he managed to facilitate a helicopter to Lukla.

Once we were there we met our porter -- Sulgad. A young man with an ever present smile who we grew incredibly fond of as the days went on. The experience trekking to basecamp is one that words don't really do justice. Every day the views that surround you are breathtaking and the whole journey was an adventure.

We eventually made it to basecamp and the achievement is one in which will stay with us forever. We always knew it would be unforgettable but the thing we didn't anticipate is how we were made to feel like family and that's due to our guide and our porter. Sofi and Sulgad were the highlights -- they truly are the friendliest people you'll ever meet, feeling like they genuinely always had your best interests at heart. Even when the clouds came again at Lukla when trying to depart they managed to find alternative transport to Kathmandu and we thank them for that. If you are fortunate to get the both of them in your trek you will be looked after and the Himalayas will do rest.

We did ten days trek through Annapurna to Poon Hill and ABC led by our kind guide , Surej and our ever smiling porters Manous and Anil.
We travelled with our eight year old who was a champion but also so well supported by the guides and porters. Always happy to answer her many questions. We felt in very safe hands. The days were great pace and length and scenery just stunning.highly recommended this trek and company to take you there for amazing memories and trip of a lifetime.

Great experience! We did two treks, Langtang and Mardi Himal. Simbir's communication was prompt and efficient and our guide Ram was amazing helping us through rivers and landslides when the Monsoon made an unwelcome appearance at the start of October. Would most def. recommend these guys!

The tour we did was stunning through the langtan area. Our guide Suraj and porter Onil did everything they could to ensure a pleasant trip without any complications. They exceeded our expectations, always securing us the best accommodation- if possible with hot shower, always good food and even showing us some local card games in the evening. It was easy to adjust the trekking to our needs - choosing different destinations or taking breaks as often as we needed.
I did my research before the trek and found that this company was the most competitive one compared to the others. The price is fair for what they offer and I do not see what more a different company could offer you since we've got everything we needed - they even picked us up at 1 am at night from the airport without a question so their service is top noch!
Having that said I would choose going with Himalayan view treks again.
Big thanks for everything and this amazing experience !

Just returned home from a fantastic adventure holiday on the EBC trek. Himalaya View Treks couldn't of been more helpful from choosing and booking our trek before we arrived through to dropping us back to the airport once we had finished , nothing was too much trouble.
Before coming to Nepal me and my dad was unsure if we needed a guide however we are now so pleased that we decided to get one. Sobit our guide made the experience so much better as he took care of all the arrangements and organising leaving us to concentrate on the trek and enjoy the scenery without any stress.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Himalaya View Treks and would request Sobit as a guide as he was brilliant!!!!

We embarked on the 3 Passes Trek in the Khumbu Region in March 2024. About four weeks before our departure, we contacted the trekking company. They efficiently organized everything on very short notice and proved to be of invaluable assistance in preparation for the trek.

Our guide, Ram, and porter, Santos, were truly remarkable, embodying the epitome of local hospitality. Specifically, Ram exhibited immense patience towards us(me), demonstrating professionalism in every aspect of our journey. He consistently provided support for any situation we encountered.

For anyone considering a trip to the region, I wholeheartedly recommend requesting Ram as your guide. You will be in excellent hands, receiving attentive care throughout your trek.

They'll also adjust the plan for the trek on a very spontanious basis if that is requested which might be necessary for altitude sickness being no joke on the 3 Passes Trek.

This was my 15th trek in the Himalayas : 13 in Nepal and 2 in India.
This trek started with a very good welcome from Simbir, the boss of the trekking agency. By email he had confirmed to me that he had found a female guide to accompany me.
I had made my own itinerary to discover the trails leading to Kala Patthar. I had to take a shared bus or jeep to Junbesi and then walk to Chaurikarka, for three days. After that, we walked through the main road. Along the way were planned days of discovery: Kongde, Khunde, Ama Dablam Base camp, Island Peak base camp. Arriving at the refuge at Lobuche (8am), the only good solution was to abandon the climb to Kalar Patthar and go to the Everest base camp. It was a great and very exhausting day (20km above 5000m).
Simbir took care of everything, changing my money, buying the internet card and above all I was accompanied by an extraordinary guide with a lot of talents (an incredible sense of interpersonal skills, excellent professional and wonderful dancer). For the first time, I was welcomed into her home and attended the village festival: it was unique!

My wife and I were interested in a "short" tour in the Himalayas. We came across Himalayan View Treks on the Internet. They offered the 8-day Annapurna Short Trek Tour.

The communication with Simbir in advance via email went well. He was able to give us all the information in advance. It would also have been possible to adapt the tour to suit our individual needs (e.g. return by plane).

Although we initially spent a few days in Kathmandu, our guide picked us up on arrival and took us to the hotel. So we arrived relaxed.

On day 1 of the tour, our guide (D. B.) and our porter (Manoj) picked us up from the hotel early in the morning.

On days 2-7 we hiked from Chame via Pisang, Manang, Ledar, High Camp over the Thorong La Pass to Muktinath. In total, we had to hike about 80km, 4,100m up and 3,100m down.

Day 8 was then spent returning to Pokhara by jeep.

Despite the long distance for us, the tour was great. This was mainly thanks to our guide and porter! D. B. always checked on our well-being. Every evening there was a short review of the day and a briefing for the next day. This meant that we could decide whether we wanted to walk a little further one day and do a little less the next day. He was very accommodating.

Manoj carried our heavy backpack and we were able to concentrate fully on the trek. We were very grateful for that. He also always looked after us (are you OK? 😉)

D.B. gave us a lot of knowledge about the country and the mountains throughout the trek. He was also able to tell us many interesting mountaineering stories.

We had 8 indescribable days! Our initial fear and worry that we wouldn't be able to make it was completely taken away by the professional approach. Thank you very much for that!
