This is my longest trek of 8 days in total to Annapurna Base Camp. Our tour guide Kabi picked us up from the airport in Kathmandu and arranged all land transfers and internal flights to Pokhara. We were welcomed with a welcome cultural dinner in Kathmandu, and a boating at beautiful Few Lake. We were taken care of in every aspect from start to finish really.
Starting in Nayapul, we were caught in the unfortunate torrential rain for the first 3 days, which caused severe flooding & landslides across the country, but we remained in good spirits and continued the trek whilst Kabi monitored the situation & kept informed ahead with the other lodges. Every day and night we’ll be discussing and brief on the plans ahead.
Thankfully the weather cleared up and we had great visibility at the base camp with the mountain ranges in full view. The night view full of stars was a spectacular experience in itself! Every day on the trek was a unique experience, as the views and landscapes changes over the course, from waterfalls, to jungly forest, to shrubs and gorges.
Tips on preparation: if you're short of gears and equipment, Kathmandu and Pokhara has plenty of options; Bring insect spray for leeches in the jungly trails; a good poncho will be very useful in rainy times; and many socks will make your feet happy.
Our trek finished two weeks ago and we're already thinking of another adventure to the other mountains in Nepal. Big thanks to Kabi and our two porters for the fantastic help and wonderful experience, we would not be there without them.

Unforgettable experience with my guide-friend Kabi and his professional porter Keran. We went to Annapurna Base Camp in middle May 2024 and everything was planned perfectly, from the trip to the accomodations and food, esxpecially the fruit creations by Keran every dinner in tea houses. Because of the bad weather, my first program (5 days more for Mardi Himal trek) had to be changed for a short safari in Chitwan and Pokhara sightseeing and Kabi showed all his high skills to adjust the plan in order to satisfy my desires. Finally I could live the real Nepalese ordinary life with Kabi and his friends.
I strongly recommend Kabi and his team for a pleasant and complete journey in Nepal.
I will certaintly come back to challege the EBC and peak climbing, of course with my friend Kabi, who is moreover a very good photo and video maker.

Really great tour. Our guide (Kabi) was fantastic, really did his utmost to make our trip go smoothly, even helped us get altitude meds and had fever/cold meds when our friend got sick in the middle of the trek. Also took awesome photos of us the whole trip long, professional photographer-style ones. Plus, great advice on what to prepare, how long it'd take us, help with shopping and just an awesome person in general. Really enjoyed and looking forward to doing the EBC trek with them sometime in the future too!

I had the most amazing experience doing the Mount Everest Base Camp Trek, and not only because the landscape and the local people made it incredible, but also because our guide, Raj, made us feel a part of it. He paid attention to every detail, such as which clothes are better for each part of the trek. He also organized and took care of all the important paperwork at airports, with transportation, and at hotels. He is fun, cautious, well-organized, and patient, as well as honest and very professional in what he does, and he did all this while always maintaining his good vibes and smile. Thank you so much, Raj!

Had an amazing experience during our ABC trek this May! Our guide is extremely accommodating and would take extra miles to make sure we were enjoying the trip and were comfortable. He also helped us take many great photos along the trip.
Highly recommended!

We did the trekking from Lukla to Everest Base Camp and it was epic, all thanks to Raj! He didn't just lead the way – he boosted our confidence with every step.
Raj's positivity and support made the journey a breeze. Whether we were tackling tough trails or adjusting to the altitude, he was there, cheering us on and making sure we felt capable. He took care of everything so we didn’t have to worry of anything ! And when I say anything that’s the truth. We just bought the tickets and come to Nepal, totally trusted in him and his years of experience. And was totally worthy!!!
Raj's service was top-notch. He took care of everything so we could focus on the adventure. As well The man, who was our porter. Always with a smile in his face making us feel like a team.

I just accomplished Langtang valley trekking with Mr. Parbat. He is such a knowledgeable and humble guide. He does have sound knowledge of routes, culture, history, mountains. He did excellent work to cheer me up on the mountains. Raj also did excellent communication prior to my trip. His full information and guidance helps me to decide the routes. I am confident about coming back for another adventure with A One Nepal Trek. I highly recommend to everyone come with A One Nepal for your journey in Nepal.

This was 2nd time. First time was 2019, Everest Base Camp with friend. After first trip, plan to have next with my little one. Finally make it in 2024, Poon Hill. View is not as nice as EBC but have a great experience with my two little one with caring, helping and sincere tour guard -Kabi and his team. Thanks, we ended up complete this hiking trip with enjoying. Will be back again with you.

Raj was so kind and funny and went out of his way to make sure we felt safe, and had fun. He shared history and culture with us as we trekked, and joined us in the evening for card games and laughs. Raj even changed our route on the fly when we ran into bad weather, allowing us to stay at base camp for an extra night and get the perfect view in the morning. Thank you so much Raj!
