We had an incredible experience on our twelve day tour of Nepal and Bhutan. The itinerary was ideal for us and included cultural, historic, and sacred religious sites (including several designated as UNESCO world heritage sites), and allowed us to glimpse the beauty of the two countries. Peregrine did a great job in planning this tour, and we had excellent local guides in each location who were fluent in English. We really enjoyed this introduction to both Nepal and Bhutan.

Highlights in Nepal included a "mountain flight" from Katmandu to see Mount Everest (and other Himalayan peaks), exploring Bhaktapur Durbar Square, enjoying the beauty of the lakes around Pokhara, seeing the sunrise from Sarangkot (with the Himalayas in the distance), and exploring Chitwan National Park on foot, by canoe, and via jeep safari.

We loved every minute in Bhutan, which is one of the most remarkable places - they have adopted "gross national happiness" as the the country's guiding principle, and they are the first carbon negative country in the world. Exploring Punakha and Thimphu were highlights, and our guide provided the encouragement we needed to hike up to Tiger's Nest while we were in Paro.

We would recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in learning about the world and exploring new cultures. Peregrine did an outstanding job with all of the arrangements.

Best experience we had with Peregrine, the whole tour of ABC base camp trek was tailor made for our requirement, all our requests were reviewed discussed and accepted and in some instances with a better recommendation.

Even before the start of the trip all our questions were answered and upon request we had a zoom call where rest of our friends were convinced the fairness of this touring company.

During the trek we had the best help in terms of guidance from the 3 time Everest climber Sherpa.. and also with the help from the support staff in securing the best accommodations, food and help with the luggage.

Sherpa’s make your life easy, they are very helpful at all circumstances… Without them I would be struggling…with the help of them I carried my DSLR and the lenses and was able to capture the best photos of my life.

Initially I was thinking I should have requested for an English speaking guide, but glad we got the help of the local Sherpa…. They are so genuine and honest.
In an unknown territory we need their help and they need our support, this is the only source of their livelihood.

Because of them we have experienced the best mountain views, best local harvest organic food, best selected accommodations and lastly we have also experienced mad honey and local wine.

And finally after our trek we went to Chitwan and then to Kathmandu, all the flights, food and the travel with a guide is taken care, with out the help of Pradip from Peregrine we would be struggling.

We also were given a ceremonial dinner in a local Nepali restaurant with unlimited food & drinks.

I would recommend Peregrine trek and tours without any hesitation…. Take my word.

I would highly recommend this company . from the initial booking in April 22 to arriving in October and leaving in November Pradip the company owner was on hand to answere all our questions .
He tailored the holiday to suit our needs perfectly .
visiting the Himalayas has been as truly remarkable and wonderful experience the Annapurna region is breathtaking .
Our guide Nima is an exceptional guide and took great care of us, our young sherpa carried our bags and always had a smile on his face.
Unfortunately the day we where due to trek to ABC I suffered acute altitude sickness Pradip organised my emergency evacuation from the mountain to hospital via helicopter. He liaised with the insurance company and the hospital, organised taxis and hotels following discharge he arranged daily tours after discharge. I had nothing to do or worry about only to get better. He kept in touch daily to ensure I was well .
Our trip to Napal has been remarkable trekking mountains, boating on lakes, rafting on rivers and visiting towns temples and mountain villages .
I cannot thank Pradip and Nima for the care and attention they gave me to ensure I was safe and I had the best experience possible .
I hope to return again in the not too distant future .

Amazing company. Everything was well organized and I could always contact Pradip for any questions and wishes.
I did the muldai view track which was really nice. It wasn’t too long but especially in the first part really peaceful and enjoyable. Poonhill is a little bit more touristic but still enjoyable. The lodges were all nice, and it was in general a really good time.
My guide Lama was incredible. He told me about the region, mountains, and life in Nepal. He always made sure that I was fine regarding tracking, food, sleep, and everything else. I would definitely book with this company again and hope to return to Nepal.

Me and 4 of my friends travelled to Nepal last October for 2 weeks where we had an excellent trip with Naveen and his team. He welcomed me in Kathmandu airport and briefed me every aspects of mountain, history and culture of Nepal. The guide Bheg took care and helped us along the way to Mt Everest Base Camp and planned everything smoothly. The Kathmandu sightseeing was memorable one that we want to go back in near future this time to Pokara, Annapurna mountain, we will join Peregrine Trekking Company again for sure.

My recent Everest Base Camp trek with Peregrine Trek was an experience of a lifetime. From the moment I arrived in Kathmandu Marriott , then to Lukla to the day I returned, We used helicopters to and from Kathmandu to Lukla and further due to more reliability .
We stopped at Phakding , monjo , Namche , on our trek and further up at pangboche, Dingboche ( where we had great acclimatization ascent and descent)
Our lead guide, Mukhiya, was an invaluable asset throughout the trek. His knowledge of the region, his passion for mountaineering, and his genuine care for our well-being made all the difference. He was assisted by Ashish and Renjit, who provided excellent support and encouragement and specially my assistant guide Dorji, and both porters Gyan and Dilkumar .

Yeti Mountain Homes lodges, which offered comfortable and clean accommodations throughout the first three nights of stay in the trek. The highlight was our stay at the Everest View Hotel, the highest hotel in the world. The breathtaking views of Mount Everest from our room as well as terrace were simply unforgettable.

The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to acclimatize gradually to the high altitude. We trekked through diverse landscapes, from lush forests to barren mountain passes, and encountered a variety of wildlife along the way. The daily briefings provided by our guides could have been better and their knowledge of flora , fauna was patchy, and without WiFi we lacked the education I expected from them.

The trek to Everest Base Camp is very very challenging, The sense of accomplishment we felt upon reaching the base camp was immense. The stunning views of the surrounding peaks, including Mount Everest itself, as well as Ama Dablam, Pomori ,made the entire journey worthwhile. Mt. Everest Lhotse ,Nuptse Ama Dablam,Kangtega and Thamserku to name few
The entire Peregrine Trek team especially the guides and porters went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety. They carried our luggage, and assisted us with any special requests we had and I was fortune to hire two porters just for me with extra payment . Their attention to detail and personalized service made was excellent.
Our return was a Heli ride with sops at Kala Pathar and Gokyo lake and then Lukla for additional cost .
If you are considering an Everest Base Camp trek, I recommend Peregrine Trek with its owner Pradip Karki always available on WhatsApp or mobile .
Certain additional hints :
Carry disposable urinal packs for gorakshep where rooms lack bathrooms
Hot water bags for last 2-3 days
Chapsticks
Electrolytes tablets
Pillow covers
Optional sleeping bag for last 2-3 days ,-20’C verified
For Indian travelers , take adequate Indian dehydrated ready to eat packs where you just add boiling water
Always have fulfilling breakfast in morning
Water bottles with long spouts
Layered clothes
UV protective sunglasses
Adequate back up medicines especially loperamide , Stool softeners , Cetrizine , otrivin, Vicks inhalers ( worked like charm ), Vicks cream , NSAIDS, acetaminophen ,
I used .25-.5 mg alprazolam which generally not recommended but few of us used it to get good nights sleep and didnot see any breathing depression.
We didnot use energy bars etc which is highly cited by people , and actually offloaded few of those to lighten our backpack
I carried my GoPro and put it on my Sherpa head , and taugh hi how to use it
Overall a great fulfilling trip ,

We planned this trip in collaboration with Pradip for a year. He made sure all the details we required were in order. We had no worries when we arrived in Nepal with hotels or taxis; everything was arranged and easy. The trek itself was a bucket-list experience, living up to the hype due to the level of organisation and lack of stress for us. The weather caused extreme delays out of Kathmandu to Lukla airport however Pradip worked tirelessly to get us on a helicopter the next day, when others were stranded for up to 5 days. The guide Nima Dorji Sherpa and porter Tendi Sherpa were the most amazing team. We had no worries and made it through the trek with their support and help. Pradip and Dorji worked hard to plan our elopement at 5530m, which was not easy but we pulled off! Pradip was very quick to respond and make changes to plans as needed, he was very easy to contact. He met with us several times in person to provide us information and local Nepalese experiences too. We would 100% recommend this trekking company!

On the day of my arrival, it was the first day of Dashian Festival. It was one of the bigger festival in Nepal, and many shops were closed.

Kumar picked me up at the airport and brought me around to buy the remaining gears that I need for my trek, and also to change money and get a sim card.

On the next day, went to the airport for my flight to Lukla. At this time, I realised I forgot to take my passport back after getting a sim card. Told Kumar about it and he immediately went to retrieve my passport and pass it to me at the airport. Thank god, if not I will be an illegal immigrant in Nepal!

Unfortunately, all outbound flights were cancelled and I had to make some changes to my trekking plans. From EBC, I went for ABC instead.

Some hiccups happened along the way, but was resolved quickly by both Pradip and Kumar. On one of these days, I did not bring sufficient water and was very thirsty and was having a bit of headache. My guide/porter, Devraj, was very observant and seeing that I was in discomfort, he immediately offered me a fruit. It was sweet and juicy, but has a lot of seeds. That helped to quench my thirst and relieved me a little on the headache. He helped me with my bag on top of the one he was already carrying for me. I pushed on and reach the next pit stop within 30 mins. Once at the pit stop, he immediately got me hot drinks to hydrate me. Along the way, Devraj also helped to take many stunning photos.

When I am back to Pokhara after the trek, I made a couple of changes to my itinerary, and Pradip was quick to react to my request. Though it incurred more money, but my request for change was fulfilled.
Overall, I am happy that I took up the tour with Peregrine Treks.
