This was such an amazing fun experience. We did 2 days (one afternoon and one morning) of rafting with Dil. We camped overnight at the Adventure Aves campground by the river. The rafting was scary at points but I never felt unsafe thanks to the amazing team who were clearly very practiced and prepared. They made sure when we got to camp we were warm and well fed and were so kind and welcoming. Dil was funny and explained very step very clearly.

Was an added option during my trip in Nepal so had planned to do solo but by the time we got to the location 4 others from my trip joined me so we had a group raft!!.
Fantastic team. Team captain was great with his instructions, and group participation throughout the trip, as well as the two safety kayaks, ensuring all of us were happy and comfortable throughout.
Excellent lunch was included in a little base camp by the river, with log fire to dry out near (but you will get wet again!!).

Such a wonderful and amazing experience! The staff are fun and safe and awesome! Shout out to Amrit who was the best raft leader ever!
Did two days of rafting which was spectacular, and included go pro footage, lunch, tea and coffee, dinner and lunch again.
We also stayed at a seriously cool riverside campsite that had running water, wifi, a toilet, beds and a volleyball net.
100/10 experience!!!

I was secretly terrified, but Dil & his team made me feel absolutely safe. It’s clear they’re very experienced.

Particularity impressed they had the guts to veto one rapid as too challenging (because of recent heavy rains), despite pressure from some customers to go ahead.

It was a real thrill, and Dil’s presence on our raft made it super fun. Highly recommend!!

Awesome 2 days. Well organised and lots of fun. Our guide Dil made it very entertaining and even those in our group who were a bit unsure, came away having a blast. Thank you Dil and your team.

I was very happy to have chosen this company. Everything was handled very professionaly so that I had plenty of emotions and was very confortable at the camp. This company has many years of experience and the boats and gear that I used were recent and of very good quality. Dil ensured everything went ok and at the end he even came on purpose to the airport to give me the card with the photos and videos of my experience. I recomend the experience and the company!

First river rafting we have ever done, and what an introduction. Safety first class, we certainly felt safe throughout the trip. Great hospitality and we even had decent loos at lunch time, which we did not expect!

We had a 2 day rafting and overnight camp as part of the Intrepid tour I was on. This was a highlight of my trip. All the Adventure Aves team, including our raft guide Dil, were really great, our safety was a priority, and our time on the water was so much fun! We had about 3hrs on the water on the first day, with a stop off for lunch, then an overnight camp which was very comfortable large tents with good beds. There is a great campfire area and they moved all the tables and chairs down to this area so we could take our meals there. Day 2 was just a couple of hours in the water but I wish it had been more. Thanks Dil and team for a great adventure!

My Japanese friend and I took a two day and one night rafting tour on the Turisuli River.

It was late November and I was worried that the river water would be very cold, but adventure aves had their own wetsuits and rented them to us for the price of the trip.

Wetsuits not only keep you warm, but also protect you from injury in case you fall on the rocks.

By the way, there are very few rafting companies in Nepal that own wetsuits. I was surprised because in Japan, wet suits are common even in summer. Shoes are not available for rent, so please be sure to bring them with you.

I had rafting experience in Japan, but this was my first rafting in Nepal on the Trisuli River. My friends seemed nervous at first because it was the first time for them to go rafting.

The president of the company, Mr. Dil, who has many years of experience working as a rafting guide in Japan, gave us a detailed explanation about paddling and safety in Japanese, which seemed to help my friend relax a lot.

Two safety kayaks accompanied us. The kayak staff went ahead of us and took pictures of us with their digital SLR cameras.

The photos will be copied to us later along with the video from the gopro. It was a powerful picture of us with the biggest smiles on our faces on the rafts crashing into the wave caps. I bragged about it to all my friends back in Japan.

At the camp site where we stayed on the first day, we had a great time with the staff and everyone else, barbecuing at night. All the food was delicious.

The river water is clean, so it wasn't unpleasant to not be able to take a hot shower for a day or so, and the only inconvenience I felt was that the toilet was far from my tent.

There were power strips in the tents so we could charge our cell phones. I was exhausted from the bus ride and rafting all day, so I fell asleep right away.

The second day of rafting was also a lot of fun, and we arrived at our final destination, Kulintal, at 3 pm, changed, had lunch, and took the tourist bus back to Kathmandu.

The adventure aves team was very friendly and helpful during the tour, and above all, I had great confidence and peace of mind in the way they operated the boat with safety as their first priority.

Thank you adventure aves president DIL and team for a wonderful trip.

After returning to Japan, I read a newspaper article on the internet about a large hydroelectric power project on the Tulisuli River that is currently underway and that rafting associations and rafting guides are protesting against the project because of the danger it poses to the surrounding environment and the water tourism industry.

I too was concerned about how the future of the Tulisuli River would be changed. I hope it will always be a river that adventure travelers from all over the world want to raft again and again.

Adventure aves
