Such a wonderful and amazing experience! The staff are fun and safe and awesome! Shout out to Amrit who was the best raft leader ever! Did two days of rafting which was spectacular, and included go pro footage, lunch, tea and coffee, dinner and lunch again. We also stayed at a seriously cool riverside campsite that had running water, wifi, a toilet, beds and a volleyball net. 100/10 experience!!!

Adventure Aves is a small rafting company with its main office in Khatmandu Nepal. Company owner Dil Gurung and his staff are amazing people dedicated to safety and service. With their base river camp on the Trishuli river, they can provide a few hours or a few days rafting or kayaking. With every trip a safety cataraft, and safety kayakers insure no one is going to take that long swim if in fact you do find yourself out of the raft, and into the river. Big waves and exciting drops insure a great time and experience not to be forgotten. My recommended trip would be their two day excursion which involves a nights stay at their full service camp on the river. After enjoying yourself on the river, why take transportation when you can stay and relax in safari style tents with two beds, electricity, and plenty of room. Did you work up an appetite paddling down the river? You will be amazed at the amount of food Adventure Aves serves up with a smile..start with some popcorn and a cold beer, hot tea, or whatever you like. Next comes the bar.b.que chicken prepared on a nice fire right before you and don't mistake this for dinner as a full spread of wonderful Nepali food is laid out before you buffet style for an all you can eat experience. Relax under the stars or enjoy the two white sandy beaches right in front of you..wait, you feel like dancing in the sand?..bring your phone and connect via bluetooth for your favorite song or request music indigenous to Nepal, your request will be honored. Service and guaranteed satisfaction is what the staff at Adventure Aves is all about. Flushing toilets and showers insure you're not really roughing it. The main highway does run parallel to the river, so traffic noise does exist, but a small downside to a great overall experience. Wake up to hot coffee or tea at a relaxed pace and get ready for another fantastic day of rafting ending with..yea..you guessed it, more great food. So put a drink in your hand, toes in the sand, and be prepared for service and attention like you have never seen before. Namaste..

We recently went rafting with Dil and his team, it was a brilliant experience! We spent two days rafting, with one night camping (really it was more like glamping as we had our own beds!) on the banks of the Trisuli river. Dil and his team ensured everyone was safe, unlike the other rafting companies we saw, Aves had 3 safety kayakers and another safety raft, which also doubled as our food supply! For someone who is scared of water having the safety kayakers was very reassuring! You only need to take a short bus ride from Kathmandu to get to the start location for the rafting, so it's ideal for anyone spending a few days in the area! If you would like to do rafting safely and have lots of fun, experience glamping, camp fires and tasty food, aves is the company for you! Thanks to Dil and his team!

I cannot recommend this family-run business highly enough. We used them for a 2-day rafting & camping adventure on the Trusili River during our Intrepid trip in Nepal. They were incredibly professional and safety conscious, and the hospitality & food at the campsite was wonderful. The rafting was so much fun, made even more so by Dil and his team. Best rafting I have ever done.

The inspiration for our company name came from the Latin word ‘Aves’. Aves is a general classification for any kind of bird. A bird, to us symbolises complete freedom, they can go from river to mountain and beyond, a dream we all aspire to. To follow our own path to freedom, we decided to create our own adventure company. After years of working hard for other Nepalese and International Companies, we decided to take ‘flight’ and create Adventure Aves, our very own company where we can instil our own style, and use our experience to bring to our passengers the journey of a life time and the chance to grasp a moment of freedom, be it in the river, on a mountain bike or trekking through the Himalaya. What motivates us most on the river is safety and fun. With so many average companies operating on the rivers today, we strive to be the best and safest. All of our guides are trained to the highest standard and also share our passion for adventure and fun times. We hope that one day you will join us on some wild adventures in Nepal and share in our passion. Namaste ! Dil Bdr. Gurung
