Recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Himalaya Gateway Trek, and it exceeded all expectations.
Binod, Bipin and Pazan provided exceptional support and demonstrated professionalism from booking to the trek's end.
The trek's well-crafted itinerary showcased breathtaking landscapes, with the guide enriching the experience with local insights.

I love traveling and love a challenge. Trekking in Nepal was one of my dreams to do once in a lifetime. With only 7 days maximum I could spare for this trip, I stumbled upon Mr. Bipin’s Facebook, The Himalayas Gateway, where his tour service can accommodate both my limited schedule and my requirements. He recommended that the Mardi Himal trek would suit me well.
It was my first trekking trip. I was impressed from the first day I arrived in Kathmandu.(I was a solo traveller) Mr. Bipin Picked me up at the airport and took me to buy something at the trekking shop after that He took me to visit the Swayambunath Temple to pay respect also.
On the next day morning, I started the trek with the guide and a porter who were bothprofessional and helpful. Throughout the trip, our guide leader was very attentive to our comfort and wellbeing.
On the last day, I almost missed my flight back home because the flight from Pokhara was delayed for about 4 hours and I had to fly home in the afternoon on the same day. when I arrived at Kathmandu airport I had to return the duffel bag and sleeping bag to Mr.Bipin but the time was tight. He told me “Let's return my Duffel bag next trip”
For me, trekking to see the magnificent Himalayas with the Himalayan Gateway trek team is highly worth it.!!!

I reached out to the company from a recommendation by someone in Thailand who has been to Nepal with Himalayan Gateway Trek twice and was impressed with their service. I was going to go to Nepal alone, so naturally safety was an issue of concern. However, since they came recommended, I was able to feel more comfortable exploring the country on my own with their assistance.
When I wanted to explore the cities in addition to trekking, Bipin was able to accommodate such request. I asked to stay over in Nagarkot for a night at the last minute and Bipin was able to book a room at a hotel located at the highest point in Nagarkot with the best view of the mountains. I was lucky that it was a clear day so the view from the room was just perfect. Totally worth the ride out to Nagarkot!
During the Annapurna Base Camp trek, Bipin, who was also our guide, has extensive experience and knowledge of the area so he was able to provide route information, answer any questions, prepare us mentally and clothing-wise for what we were going to encounter during the trek. He is also very attentive, is always observing us, asking whether we were ok, and looking out for us in terms of safety. The stories of his experience on the mountains were also pleasant conversation during the trek.
Lastly, we can't forget the true heroes of our trip, our porters, Raj and Dipok, who were so polite, patient, and helpful. Without them, I wouldn't be able to go out there. Cheers to them!
No doubt I'm going back to Nepal and it will definitely be with Himalayan Gateway Trek.

From airport pick up to farewell dinner (and airport drop off) Himalayan Gateway Trek exceeded my expectations.
Binod, one of the company owners, made sure I have the best 1st hiking trip in Nepal. Not only did he lead the Mardi Himal trek but he also accompanied me in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Both city and mountain accommodations were very comfortable and I absolutely had the best rest each time. Sleeping bag is provided and they were very kind to lend me a pair of trekking poles… when my headlamp stopped working, Binod even lent me his. I was able to choose any food I want during meal time and I always got enough hydration. A porter also helped carry some of my things which I really appreciated since I had bulky items for cold weather.
This trip really immersed me in Nepalese culture. My guide shared alot of interesting facts about their culture and he was always ready to answer any questions I had about the things I saw as we hiked.
I really couldn’t recommend this company enough and I look forward to more trips with them.

We just finished the Mardi Himal Trek with Binod. There were some changes to the plan due to weather conditions but the plan was well managed and we were very promptly informed. Binod managed the trip professionally and he was really concerned about well-beings of the members and helped push us to accomplish the goal that we were truly proud of. We appreciated excellent services from him and his team.
We will definitely contact Himalayan Gateway Trek again for our next trip in Nepal. 😊

I do Langatng valley trek on April 2022 with my freinds , This is my 3rd time with this company. 1 st time ABC and poonhill & 2nd time EBC and chola pass. Bipin helps me to find flight ticket from my country to nepal.

This trip is good memorable to me, views along the way are very stunning. The view is breathtaking.
All the places I have been visit are very nice, exotic. professional services from Himalayan gateway trek that make me feel safety and warm during the trip.

First time trekking abroad. We chose Nepal because of our interest in the nature of the Himalayas. My sister contacted this company for details and agreed to let it take care of this trip. Binod, the guide for this trip .He took care of our 10 day trip and also provided detailed information about the trip and general trekking advice in other routes . He was a nice, polite man, including 2 porters ,who spoke little, smiley and took care of us throughout the journey.
First time going to Nepal, I was very impressed. It made me fall in love with Nepal. And must go back again with this company for sure. And definitely recommend the company to friends. Very impressed.

Our trip to EBC went incredibly smooth despite all the difficulties during the trek. Bipin and Binod have never failed to provide the best team to help us reach the destination! We used their service to ABC before, we were really impressed! This time is no different, they provided us with the guide and porters that were really caring and helpful. We will not hesitate to contact them again should we plan our next trip to Nepal!

Mardi Himal trek April 2024
Excellent trip, well managed right from Kathmandu airport pick up to our last day flight back. We had 2 porters and 1 guide for the 4 of us on this trip. Our guide, Kumar, was excellent and knowledgeable about the areas. The highlights were the 2 days trekking from Rest Camp to High Camp where we were above the treeline with open views. Subject to the weather, clouds could spoil you views of Machhapuchhare but wait long enough you can get a glimpse. Our guide was flexible with our time and accomodations changes.
This is a great introductory trek for first timers and seniors (over 60+). A good balance between trekking and town shopping and walkabouts since we spent 2 nights in Kathmandu and 2 nights in Pokhara.
Highly recommended.
