My wife and I booked with 'Nepal Trekking Routes' their 'Explore Nepal Tour 11 Days'.
Tour took us through some stunning scenery and allowed us to explore many cultural sites. Best of all, though, it gave us the chance of closely interacting and meeting wonderful local people along the way.
From reservation, through our many visits, hikes and explorations, Shailesh and Sujan made our experience unique, and their care for you as a customer, was outstanding. Sujan was our guide during the tour and we very much appreciated his expertise and genuine interest and care
Highly recommended trip for those who want to visit Nepal and have the best balance of scenery, culture and trekking.

We did the Langtang Gosainkunda trek. Shailesh, the managing director was very helpful and responsive with our queries right from the beginning. He picked us up personally at Kathmandu airport. We had a very experienced guide Ratna who was excellent and took good care of us throughout the trek. He knew the trekking routes very well and was very knowledgeable. He was flexible and able to make changes in the itinerary due to the weather to ensure our safety and wellbeing. He ensured that we would get the best accommodation available on the trek as well as the best food. Our porter Vinod was also very helpful, strong and fast. The view from Kyanjin Ri was breathtaking. We were fortunate to see Gosainkunda lake before and after snow. We took the alternative option of paying extra for private jeep transfers instead of the public bus which was definitely worth the extra cost. Overall we would highly recommend Nepal Trekking Routes, and we are planning to come back again for another trek with this company.

I recently returned from completing the Chola Pass / EBC trek with Nepal Trekking Routes. From my initial contact with Shailesh (owner) to my departure to the airport Nepal Trekking Routes was extremely responsive to my questions and requests and continually made sure that I had a tailor made experience of a lifetime. My guide, Santa, looked out for my comfort and safety and worked hard to ensure we had good accommodations and took advantage of the various side hikes available each day which added greatly to the overall experience. I can recommend Nepal Trekking Routes with 100% confidence that they will deliver exceptional service that the large US and UK travel companies are unable to match in terms of price, local knowledge/contacts or personalized service.

NepalTrekkingRoutes.com is the best!

Just got back from Nepal having selected NepalTrekkingRoutes.com to provide the guide and tour package for the Annapurna Circuit. First off, this group seriously takes personal satisfaction as their #1 priority. They expertly took care of all details, working behind the scenes to ensure that everything went perfectly. When I needed an extra day in Pokhara and a revision to my airline itinerary, they took care of it without a worry to me. They even arranged to have my room upgraded (at no charge) when the hotel's offering was less than satisfactory. They are the most personable people, with the guide engaging and very knowledgeable. Best tour experience ever!

I did the Kanchenjunga trek in November 2023.

I've been to Nepal almost 20 times now so I know the country pretty well. This hike is the most difficult one after the 3 passes trek in Khumbu clockwise direction. The Annapurna or Khumbu treks are on average nicer for me but this one is just above all the others for 5-6 days of trek. Northern BC and the junction between northern and southern BC offer the most beautiful views among all the treks I have done in Nepal and elsewhere. On the same level of beauty as Renjo la, from the Thame side, and the St Antonio pass in Huayhuash in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru. The view from North BC is breathtaking, much more beautiful than Everest I saw from the Lobuche and Gokyo valleys. Everest is just a pyramid but Kanchenjunga is a wall at almost the same altitude, 8,586 m, not just a peak but a 10-15 km long wall ! The amount of ice/glaciers covering the mountain is as impressive as Mustaghata on the Karakoram Highway. Really amazing. Everything worked well for me during the trek. The guest houses are much better than expected. The entire trek is 255 km long and 14,000 m of elevation gain, quite sporty. It takes 17 to 19 days of walking.

Shailesh, Bishnu and Beeno looked after us very well.
They were always attentive and responded to messages quickly.
Their local knowledge on the trek was excellent and Shailesh also offered us very good advice during our stay in Pokhara.

I did the Langtang Valley trek with Nepal Trekking Routes and had a brilliant time. I'm a women travelling alone and from the minute I landed to the minute I left Nepal I was completely looked after by Shailesh (owner of Nepal Trekking Routes). Nothing was too much trouble (such as lending me a ruck sack) and there was so much flexibility with everything we arranged. Whilst on the trek, my guide, Bishnu, was so supportive and encouraging and looked after me every step of the way.
I also did a last minute trip to Pokhara, which again, Shailesh made happen with no trouble at all.
Don't hesitate to book with this company, I'd love to do another tour with them!

I travelled to Nepal in September 2023 to complete the Anapurna Circuit Trek. Shailesh and his whole team were wonderful from beginning to end. Shailesh communicated promptly and answered all my questions before the trip. He briefed us on preparations and was flexible when dates/hotels etc changed. Unfortunately, I got altitude sickness close to the end of the trek and had to turn around. Everything was taken care of. I will always be grateful that in a moment of complete disappointment, I didn’t have to worry about how to get back home safely. When our helicopter tour was cancelled because of new government rules, Shailesh did all he could to try and fix it. The Tour Leaders and trek staff were all amazing. The food and accommodation (albeit simple) was great. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone considering trekking in Nepal. It’s also good to support local businesses, that deliver a much personalised and locally driven approach. Book these guys - they are simply the best!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the trek, including the bus trip to and from the Langtang Valley. Woulderful scenery, excellent accommodation in tea houses and local hotels, good food, especially the garlic soup and tibetan bread with accompanying masala tea. We saw monkeys, deer, mountain goats, a variety of birds including a wren, a pair of small brown squirrels, and belive it or not a pair of red pandas.

You have to admire and respect the people who live in the villages up through the valley. Kindness and hospitality were second to none. And to think there are no roads. Everything needed to supply the villages is taken up by either donkey or human transport.

Wonderful people.

I did the Langtang Gosaikunda trek this January and booked it trough Shailesh. Shailesh was an amazing guy who picked me up from the airport and helped me in every way he could to make my stay in Nepal even better. The trek was amazing starting in the Langtang valley. As we got higher up, the valley opened up where you could see the ice capped mountains. In the village Kyjangin Gompa we met some lovely people who talked about the earthquake and the way they live. After partly going back down we headed up again on our way to the holy lake Gosaikunda. The temperatures were cold but that made up for an even better experience. Together with my guide and porter we had an amazing time and became friends. I highly recommend booking trough Shailesh and will definitely come back to Nepal!
