On the first day, we drove past the Craft Gallery and I was intrigued by the outward appearance of the building. So, I asked my guide about the place and he told me it was closed on Sundays but we could see it the next day. The inside of the building was even more unassuming, where the decor made the place look classy and yet also a little homely. The items sold were in good condition and of high quality, and the staff there were extremely helpful. They often asked if I needed clarification on the items I looked at and even followed me around, helping me when I had questions. I spent longer than I would think there, learning more about the place and the items they sold. Good job! Although the items were a little pricey, I think it was worth it for the quality and the fact that they bubble wrapped the items I bought, giving me more security over the items, especially because I had to bring it back to Singapore and was not sure if my glass items would break during the flight.

i thoroughly enjoyed my time there! An initial pit stop turned out to be an hourly long (or longer) time spent in Bhutan's Craft Gallery. With the friendly faces over there, i could easily and comfortably enquire about the authentic products from Bhutan and even get myself additional tour guides in my trip ;) do drop by when you are in Thimphu, as after encountering the local, down-to-earth Craft Market right outside Craft Gallery, you get a more professionally intimate encounter here.
