I had a very hassle free and enjoyable trip in Bhutan with Book Bhutan Tour. I really dont book tours as I prefer to do things on my own. However, in a place as remote as Bhutan, where points of interest are quite far from each other, I believe having the proper tour guide is necessary if you want to have an enjoyablep visit in Bhutan.
The package (6d,5n) presented to me was very transparent and clear. Ram, the owner, facilitated my booking as well as all arrangements required like the sdf and visas needed for entry. I also was given a price match to the hotels i booked with which allowed me to mix and match some hotels depending on the area in Bhutan we visited.
They had a comprehensive and personalized tour itinerary detail but allowed maximum flexibility. You can edit out things that you dont want and add things that may be of your interest. Everything from airport pick up upon arrival to airport ride to departure (and everything in between) is all prepared perfectly.
Sonam the tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative; and Arjun the driver was very careful. They have made me appreciate the country even more through their stories and personalized service.
I would highly recommend getting them for a smooth and enjoyable stay in Bhutan.

Our 9-day Bhutan trip with Book Bhutan Tours was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, Ram ensured everything was seamless, checking in personally and spreading his infectious energy. Our guide, Dorji, was incredibly knowledgeable and flexible, adjusting the itinerary to suit our preferences while balancing guided time and personal space. Mr. Phuph expertly navigated Bhutan’s winding roads, making us feel safe throughout. Their hospitality made us feel like family. Every detail was handled, allowing us to fully enjoy Bhutan’s beauty. We spent 10 days in Bhtan being looked after by Mr Ram and his wonderful team. Their service couldn’t have been better! From the very start Mr Ram was so helpful and flexible in helping us decide an itinerary that would suit us. We wanted to do a lot of hiking as well as seeing the most interesting parts of the country. We changed the itinery lots of times and he didn’t mind at all. This flexibility and absolute focus on what would make our trip special for us, is what characterises this company. We were looked after every day by Sonam (guide) and Urdan (driver) who couldn’t have been kinder and more solicitous. But they were also funny and good fun to be with. Which is a quality very important to us. We wanted to experience the real Bhutan and they took us to such interesting local places like a homestay and fabulous restaurants serving local food (which I loved ) as well as more high end places for more luxury moments. They also went the extra mile - for instance we decided to do a challenging hike in the Haa Valley area and it took a bit longer than anticipated so Urjan collected a delicious lunch and met us half way up the mountain so we could eat and then continue the hike. This is a brilliant example of how this company takes care of their guests. I don’t hesitate to recommend them for anyone coming to Bhutan - we will be back and wouldn’t dream of using anyone else.

We made a 14 day tour of Bhutan with the three of us and it was fantastic!
After a warm welcome at the airport by Mr Ram, Guide Sonam and driver Arjun, we immediately started the tour. The guide Sonam is very knowledgeable and knew a lot about this beautiful country and driver Arjun took us to all those beautiful places in a very comfortable van. The itinerary was perfectly arranged and left enough room to deviate from the original plan and the accomodations were suprising and exceptional.
Thank you so much to make this trip unforgettable and we highly recommend Book Bhutan Tours to anyone for a great Bhutan experience.

I went to Bhutan with "Book Bhutan Tour" as it was recommended to me by a a friends friend who is from Bhutan.
Ram runs the agency and after telling him my dates, the durance and my preferences (for me it was more hike intensive) he prepared an entire itinerary for me, including the flights from Kolkata (as I was traveling further from there afterwards). After the itinerary i was able to change a couple of points and swift to other locations that attracted me more.
also when I arrived i could adjust the last stay to be able to hike more. And also a great flexibility to skip certain visits to go hiking to more special places
The selection of the guide was very good. Sajan teached me a lot about the budism and explained me the paintings in the temples and monasteries in detail which as very insightful. also very fit for the hikes and wide knowledge about the flora and fauna. By that, I learned a lot on the trip. The places for the nights were well chosen, a good mix of nice hotels and very original farmstays. Also the driver Phub Tshering was very friendly and driving carefully.
Together they made the trip through this incredible beautiful and spiritual country very special and unforgettable.

We are avid travelers, and this was one of our best experiences. I selected this company based on the good reviews found here, and was not disappointed. We appreciated being on a private tour (3 of us) as opposed to the larger groups we encountered traveling on buses. It provided us the flexibility for our wonderful guide, Passang, to alter plans based on our interests. Our van was also better than anything we saw other tourists traveling in.
I think we benefited from the fact that Book Tour Bhutan is not a broker. It’s a small company with guides who are employed, with a focus on a personalized experience. Another bonus was our driver, Ngawang. We are used to having drivers that don’t speak English and don’t interact. Ngawang was like having a 2nd guide, and he provided some additional insight into Bhutanese culture as he is from a different region.
The choices of attractions, hotels and food were perfect. We were also given good opportunities for shopping without being herded to places where the guide is getting a commission. Of particular note was the advice and assistance we received on hiking to the Tiger’s Nest. We are active seniors, but this hike was pushing our limits. Our guides made sure we were successful getting there, and that we enjoyed ourselves in the process.
This was a wonderful experience. Passang and Ngawang: Until we meet again!

Six months ago, we planned to visit Bhutan, but we didn’t have any contact person. However, we visited Bhutan Tourism's official website and got confused because there were thousands of companies listed. Anyway, we picked five companies, and among all, Book Bhutan Tour responded promptly.
We decided to book with them only after reading great and very positive reviews from many visitors to Bhutan before us.
The very professional guide Mr. Sonam Dorji Tamang and the driver Mr. Arjun provided great service in every single detail of the tour.
We definitely suggest Book Bhutan Tour for any personalized and luxury trip in Bhutan.
It has been a real privilege and pleasure meeting Mr. Ram, a real Bhutanese, and super nice person.

During my 11-day trip to Bhutan, I discovered that it is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. Anyone interested in mountains, hiking, and the rich history of Buddhism must visit this country. Finding Bhutan Tours was a stroke of luck for me.
With no prior knowledge, I followed their itinerary for my solo journey, but from the very next day, they tailored the schedule to perfectly reflect my passion for nature and hiking. My tour guide, Passang, and driver, Arjun, were both diligent and attentive in executing our plans.

We cannot say enough great things about our Book Bhutan Tour experience! From the very start, Ram was incredibly responsive and professional, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The communication before, during, and even after the tour was flawless—prompt, clear, and thorough. The team was incredibly helpful, reliable, and always on time. I chose the 3-star hotel package, and the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations.
