I only visited this place because of the lions even if you can do game drives here. But since I'm travel alone and doesn't want to pay to hire a car I couldn't do that. Instead I payed to see the lions and hoped that I also could get into the cage to play with them. Unfortunately the lions has grown too big so you're not allowed to do that anymore. They have a couple of lions there aswell as white lions. Really cool to see. The lions are really big! From the main gate to the reception you have the chance to see some animals aswell. While I was walking around there some zebras gathered not far from me.

Just outside of Lusaka, easily reached by Public Transport, beautiful Game Farm with plenty of animals including (tame) lions.

Definitely worth a visit to escape busy Lusaka!

I love this place!

They have 2 white lions (only 300 left in the world)

Every time one of my friends or family members come to Lusaka I take them here.

They have a small game park which has buffalo, Zebra's, impala, tawny lions (original colour) ect. The game drive costs around $6-$8 per car.

To view the lions its about $6 per person and if you want to go into the enclosure it's $20 per person.

In my photo's I have one photo when the white lions were 6 months. They have now grown and their are also photos attached.

If you have questions on this place or any other place in Zambia please ask if I have not been there I have a reliable source and will give you the best information.

You can go and have a bbq there. I have only ever taken meat I'm not sure if you can buy it there. Though they do sell drinks and chips!

Visited here with my mother in law, the lady that runs the ranch came out & showed us the lions personally & told us the stories about the lions, their names & where they came from. We were able to get close to the fence & take pictures, the owner called the lions & they came over. All in all a great visit & very reasonable price. We hope to return next year for the game drive/viewing.

After reading some many good reviews in Trip Advisor we took the car and went for a Sunday pic nic. Unfortunately the place was not what we expected given the positive reviews. Dirty, grotty, with no character. A sort of messy place in the dust. Experience not to be repeated.

A short trip out of Lusaka but beware if you take Makeni road all the way as it is horrible, better stick to M9 (longer and busier road). We paid the guide 50 kwacha for both of us and had a nice time with the lions. The guide was actually pretty amazing. There are 2 whites and 3 browns. He threw in some chickens as the lions were not doing much. Although they do look healthy, it’s kind of strange that there’s one female and four males and she’s never been pregnant.... I understand that the owner doesn’t want to cross breed but... So, I’m not sure how the cash is managed here, it’s truly none of my business but the prices online don’t seem too strict. We also drove around the property but didn’t see any animals, apparently there are others. All we saw were old cars and scraps.

Not worth the drive. Two poor white lions in a too small enclosure. The place is littered with old trucks and wrecks of cars.
The only positive thing I can say about the place it that the animals looked healthy.

After a fairly long drive from Lusaka, we arrived at this unusual Game Ranch. Not much to see but the white lions are worth the trip. Although they are not caged, they are in a fairly small area for such majestic animals. However, they looked well-fed, healthy and happy. The ranch must be owned by someone who also owns a public works company-lots of old trucks and bulldozers litter some of the property.

While the lions are very impressive (especially the huge white one), it is a bit sad to see them in such small cages. If you're into that sort of thing, then it's definitely worth a visit!
