This tour was amazing and exceeded my expectations. We booked last minute as a group of 9, because we were weren’t sure of our plans, but we were able to fit in an 2 day 1 night tour of Murchison falls, the Nile River cruise and 2 game park rides, one in the evening and one in the early morning. Our guide, Ananias, was knowledgeable, flexible and efficient. He kept us on time and was able to find animals in the game park that no one could see before he pointed them out.He is an excellent driver, to and from Kampala to Murchison national park and within the game park itself. I would recommend this company and Ananias to anyone who is thinking of a safari or tour in this region!

We did a 7/day tour with Jerome and it was fantastic. We visited Uganda after 50/yrs and were interested in visiting our familiar places where we lived and worked both in Kampala and Jinja and Jerome took us everywhere. We also visited Murchison falls and QENP and returned back to Entebee. We also did game drives at both the Parks. I prefer Murchison Falls over QENP. We did several boat ride’s throughout our trip and they were interesting and saw hippos, one crocodile and different birds. Jerome was extremely attentive and looked after my husband who is 84 yrs old and has health issues. I would highly recommend Prime Safaris and Jerome. The owners of Prime Safari Cate and Sam were very helpful. Overall we had a very good time

We had such a good time. Ananias has hawkeyes to see the animals wherever they hide. He adapted the journey to our needs, brought us to wonderful spots and was caring a lot for us. He talks to his numerous friends on the phone so if there's a special spot with a good seing, he drives there quickly so we don't miss the show!

Our trip to Uganda was fantastic! It was one of our favourite places to visit in the world. The program that Cate at Prime Safaris designed for us based on our interests was perfect - we did some outdoor activities in Jinja before heading west to Queen Elizabeth NP to do game drives and boat rides to see animals and chimpanzee tracking, all of which was awesome. We then did gorilla tracking at Bwindi NP, which was amazing! We finished off the trip with a boat ride and stay at Lake Bunyonyi. All of the places we stayed were comfortable and accommodating, especially for our dietary needs. Ananias is a fantastic guide - he is knowledgeable, friendly and genuine. He made our trip so special and took good care of us. He even coordinated a birthday celebration for our daughter. The service we received from the company, guides, lodges and restaurants was excellent. I highly recommend working with Prime Safaris to make your trip to Uganda unforgettable. We want to return to see more of this beautiful and friendly country.

We had an amazing 3 days Gorilla tour. The booking process and communication was smooth and easy. Jerom was an excellent tour guide and driver, making the long drive informative and interesting. Even with the budget accommodation booked, the place we stayed were brilliant with stunning views. All in all, I would highly recommend and the staff were great. Jack & Jack

My wife and I were told about Prime Safaris by a friend that booked a tour with them last year, and had a wonderful time. We booked a 15 day private tour. Kate was wonderful to deal with, very articulate and clear. Every question we had was answered timely and clearly! We chose a mix of higher end hotels and medium. Kate did a great job choosing our hotels. The price was fantastic! We also chose the minivan, less expensive than the other vehicles. Since it was only two of us on tour, the minivan was a great option, offering us bench seats to lay down on during long road trips. But…. If going with 3 or more people, the higher end vehicles would be better. Our tour guide Ananias (Mr Pinapple) was amazing. So friendly, and took care of us so well. He is a great animal tracker. We saw 5 different leopards. We met people who hadn’t seen any. I would totally recommend Prime Safaris.

Jerom was the best guide! It’s the second time I do a safari in murchinson falls with Jerom as a guide and I highly recommand. Jerom is kind, protective and he made sure we had an amazing time ! We saw a large variety of animals from up close on many occasions. All the information provided on the animals and Uganda was really interesting. Don’t miss the opportunity to do a safari if you go to Uganda and ask for Jerom !

A fantastic 3-day trip that I will never forget. We did the Bwindi gorilla tracking where our experience was absolutely incredible. Our guide, Jerome, was kind and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend him as your guide on whichever trip you decide. The other staff were responsive and the booking process was smooth.

Cate of Prime Safaris organized a 21-day Birding Safari in Uganda for our three-person family this September guided by Brian Tuhaise. Leading up to the trip she took great care to organise the trip around our requirements. Brian was a wonderful driver on largely unsurfaced roads at the extremes of the country. As we were there at the start of the rainy season, this took some considerable skill on his part. Together we found most of the iconic birds in this birding mecca of over 1100 species. This included the Shoebill, the Green Breasted Pitta, the African Finfoot, and the African Broadbill. Some of the most interesting areas were Kidepo NP in the NE and the Ruwenzori Mountains in the SW where we saw Albertine Rift endemics. We used largely budget
accommodation which was perfectly satisfactory. We strongly recommend Uganda as a birding destination and Cate of Prime Safaris to put one together for you. Get your visa online rather than on arrival at Entebbe. Some airlines will not let you board without one.

This vacation was perfect. Cate was easy to work with and came up with a perfect itinerary for the time and interests that we had. I was a bit worried that the price was considerably lower than their competition but I read their reviews and decided that they would probably work for us and our budget. They exceeded my expectations! Godfrey was our guide and driver for four days and he could not have been a better companion for our adventure. He is very knowledgeable and is proud of his country and we shared many great stories with each other over four days. I consider him a friend and we hated to say good bye at the end. Queen Elizabeth NP exceeded our expectations. The tree climbing lions were the highlight and something we had never seen anywhere before. The gorilla trek was the reason we came to Uganda and it did not disappoint. The trek was tough for a man in my mid 50’s but I never felt like I could not make it and the reward in the end was well worth the effort. The hour with the gorillas seemed to go by so fast. It felt like 15 minutes. The entire area of the country we saw was beautiful and the people were all very nice. Thank you Godfrey for sharing your wonderful country with us.

We'd like to book a one day tour for July 7th. We will be staying in kampala at the Serena hotel.
