I had a good visit to the mosque and was briefed about its history. I climbed to the top of the minaret that allowed me to see the entire city of Kampala.

The largest Mosque in Uganda and second largest in sub saharan africa. Built on a hill overlooking the capital. Great views from the minaret. make sure you enter with an official guide. Unofficial guides loiter in the car park but should not be used.
