This was a mother and daugther trip, travelling from Italy in August 2024. I had done several safaris before but this was the first safari in Africa for my daugther, a true globetrotter, so I was very keen that everything would go well. We did the safaris in Akagera in Rwanda, the Golden Monkeys in the Volcanos park in Rwanda, the Gorilla Trekking in the Bwindi forest and the Chimpanzés trekking n Uganda. We also visited other places and cultural sites, as well as a Community Women Project. We had a memorable time, everything was very well organized and Moses - our guide and tour operator - went out of his way to ensure the travel would be perfect and to adjust the schedule to our requirements or preferences. Even before travelling, he would be always available to give advice and speak by phone or chat by whatsapp/email, to answer to all our queries. During the tour he was a true professional, very knowleageble about the roads, the places, the animals - including birdwatching- he would spot game from a distance and carefully drive to get closer, so we could take fantastic pictures too. He's also a very respectful and friendly person, always with a positive attitude, so it was a pleasure to spend time together during the tour. The choice of lodges and hotels was also very well done, perfect locations, comfortable, clean, and with excellent food. I highly recommend Epic Uganda Vacation, well done indeed, and wish to thank Moses and your team for such a wonderful holiday, hope to come back soon and will travel with you again for sure !

We had an unforgettable 3-day tour in Rwanda and Uganda with Moses as our guide! He showed us around Kigali, took us to Volcanoes National Park for the golden monkey trek, and then into Uganda for the incredible gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Moses was absolutely amazing—funny, accommodating, and so easy to get along with. He made sure everything was taken care of, from organizing our activities to helping us cross the border and get our visas. We can’t recommend this company enough—thank you for an incredible experience!

We just got back from a 2-week trip through Uganda under the exceptional guidance of Moses! We had talked back and forth with Moses in the last few months as he created our itinerary. We finally met him in Entebbe and we started our discovery of his beautiful country together. Moses was our guide, teacher, driver and friend for 2 weeks! He explained and taught us so many things with great pride and passion. He was always helpful in everything, checking in and out of the lodges while always making sure we had everything we needed! He showed us some serious tracking and spotting skills and he was a top notch tire changer - we had a flat tire twice in the middle of the parks and he took care of things expertly! Epic Uganda is a great organization to use if you are planning a trip through Uganda, even Rwanda and Kenia! We cherish this trip and have fond memories of the gorilla, chimpanzee and monkey trackings! Thank you, Moses and Epic Uganda vacation for showing your beautiful country and sweet and hospitable countrymen!

I did a 6 day tour with Epic Uganda Vacation as a solo traveller in Rwanda and Uganda and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! Moses put together an itinerary which managed to fit in everything I wanted to do (including treks to see mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and golden monkeys, and game drives and canal cruises in Queen Elizabeth National Park) and then some. He was always quick to get back to me when planning the trip, and was able to schedule everything for me despite me deciding to take to the trip on very short notice.
Moses also served as my guide and driver for the trip, and did an amazing job. He got us everywhere we needed to go without any issues, and provided a lot of great information about the local culture and the wildlife we saw along the way. He always made sure I was comfortable and able to get the most out of my trip, and helped organize additional activities like a tour of a local village when I had some free time one afternoon. He really made the trip for me!
The lodges we stayed at were all beautiful, especially Rushaga Gorilla Lodge near Bwindi where my room overlooked the mountains. The food was also excellent and all included in the trip.
And of course, the animals were incredible! From being surrounded by dozens of golden monkeys, to coming face to face with a gorilla carrying her baby on her back, to finding a pair of lions taking a nap in the road, to searching the canopy for a family of chimps, this trip was everything I'd hoped for and more when it came to wildlife!
I highly recommend Epic Uganda Vacation, and especially Moses, without whom I would never have been able to have such an amazing experience!

In January, 2025, the two of us visited Rwanda for the first time, travelling with Epic Uganda Vacation. From the planning stage with Jonathan in the office, to the trip itself with Moses, we had an excellent experience! Our one week itinerary included visiting sights in the capital, Kigali, the former capital, Nyanza, and Akagera, Volcanoes, and Nyungwe Forest National Parks. Everything went very smoothly, as we explored that beautiful and underrated country! We were in great hands with Moses, who shared his wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as his great sense of humour with us! We highly recommend Epic Uganda Vacation for a trip to this fascinating part of the world! Paula and John, Calgary, Canada

Incredible time with this company and Roland, my tour guide was amazing! Everything went as planned and Roland was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We got along great. Moses was great with coordinating the itinerary and even quickly refunded an accidental double credit card charge I made when I originally booked. Trustworthy, reliable, and always easy to contact. Highly recommend choosing Epic Uganda Vacation!!

The most amazing experience with the most amazing guide. Scodious was so knowledgeable, kind, funny, and a safe driver. We saw everything we were there for—monkeys, elephants, hippos, lions, and, of course, gorillas and chimpanzees. Accommodations were lovely, as were the staff at each. My husband even got a surprise birthday cake, along with singing, from one. Communication from Epic prior to the trip was quick to respond to any questions. Be sure to purchase the East Africa Visa, as we made the mistake of buying the Rwanda single entry which cost us more in the long run. I highly recommend Epic Uganda. Ask for Scodious as your guide, as you won’t be disappointed.

My mother and I booked a tour of Rwanda and Uganda through Epic Uganda Vacation and everything went perfectly ! We loved the itinerary put together with Moses, who was our guide every day. Moses was knowledgeable, patient and professional.

My family and I (4 people) booked a 4 day stay in Uganda mostly to di the Gorilla trekking. Godwin, our tourguide was a great guide who taught us a lot about the culture and the history of Uganda. He took care of everything for us and was easy to get along with. Everything was organized very well and whenever we needed anything, Godwin was there to help us.

Had a fantastic trip with Moses to see the gorillas in Uganda and the monkeys in Volcanoes national park. The process was very easy and Moses handled my concerns about collecting the east Africa visa on arrival (you can easily collect at Kigali airport on arrival).
All the hotels were fantastic, and Moses had a wealth of knowledge about the environment and history. We felt perfectly safe and would recommend Moses and the tour to everyone. Gorillas in Uganda was a far better experience that Rwanda, and truly worth it. Don’t hesitate, just book.
