Uganda is such beautiful country with varied countryside, friendly people and diverse wildlife. Our aim had been to see gorillas and chimpanzees, but Sam at Laba Africa managed to produce a full and varied itinerary to cover the 9 days we had available, so we were able to see much more.
Our guide, Alonso, was absolutely first class, adjusted the schedule when needed and was a wonderful driver over challenging terrain, and was very knowledgeable/ great at spotting wildlife. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Definitely request him if he is available!
Out trip included a rhino sanctuary, Murchison Falls National park and a Nile river boat cruise to near the base of the stunning falls. Then Kibale National park, to track chimpanzees: fantastic! Next Queen Elizabeth National Park for more game drives. At Ishasha, we saw the notorious tree climbing lions including 2 cubs...definitely not to be missed. Next the lush rainforests of Bwindi National Park: a physically hard trek, but so worth it! We saw 10 gorillas within 2 metres of us. Incredible! Our final stop was some time relaxing near Lake Bunyonyi.
The accomodation Laba Africa organised was super, especially some of the lodges - my favourite was Kibale Forest Camp.. The food was great, the staff very welcoming and helpful.
The price was very reasonable, given everything that was included (thoughful touches include water and water bottles provided) , and I would therefore definitely recommend using Laba Africa.

We've jus returned from a fantastic trip to Uganda and a nine day safari-brilliantly organised by Sam at Laba Africa. Visiting 4 National parks and staying in excellent lodges en route. We saw everything we'd hoped to see such as chimps several lions including two lion cubs. We had a very close encounter with a family of 10 mountain gorillas - an awesome experience - not to mention every possible animal, 100s of rare birds, butterflies and exotic plants in the lush countryside. We highly recommend Laba Africa and our super driver/ guide Alonso who drove expertly on some difficult roads and still managed to point out a lot of game and birds we would have probably missed. Our every need was catered for including lovely stops for lunch each day so thank you for organising such an amazing experience.

I booked a 4 days tour to murchison falls np, ziwa rhino sanctuary and Kampala city tour with Samuel of Labaafrica tours. Samuel was not in the country so my driver was Francis. Honestly I couldnt get a better driver for this tour. He was also my guide for the safaris and told me so many things about Uganda, stopped at street markets to try the local fruits and dishes and was my best friend when I was in Uganda. Everything went perfect, you could see that Francis didnt only wanted to get his job done at the end of the day, you really could feel from the first moment we met that he wanted to show the tourists how fascinating this country is and that he wants the tourists to be happy about their experience in Uganda.
Even the last night in Kampala I got invited by Samuel to spend the night at his home with his family, for FREE!!! I am really happy that I chose this company and will choose it again 100%.... Cant wait to do the South Sudan tour with them ...

Our safari tour with laba africa expeditions was a dream! We visited three stunning parks during the day and stayed in beautiful and welcoming lodges in the evening. Something to point out is that out guide was so well informed, cautious and professional that our journey was brought to a whole other level by him. Could not recommend this tour enough! Hope to come back some day.

We hired land cruiser and driver Dan for 9days for a Ugandan 🇺🇬 roadtrip. The booking processes were straight forward and everything went as planned. The vehicle was basic but did exactly what it needed to. Dan was incredibly professional, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. He was safe and considerate at all times, and we were happy. I would recommend him and Laba Africa to anyone.

Sam drove me on a safari in Murchison Falls National Park for 3 days and then we went to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Bunyonyi Lake for 3 other days. Both experiences were perfect : beautiful landscape and nature, we saw many animals and made fun activities. The trip was very well organized, Sam is very professional, interesting, he’s talkative and knows a lot about his country and the fauna and flora around. He gave me great advices and the accommodation choices matched my expectations perfectly. I had a great great time and couldn’t recommend this agency more !

The trip with Laba Africa is absolutely fantastic and top notch! I booked for an 8 day Safari trip that covers Murchison, Ziwa, Kibale, Bwindi and Mburo for January 2024. To start with, Samuel is extremely helpful! He took his time to answer all my questions quickly regarding the safari trip and helped me to understand and customize all my trip details. The price he offered was very reasonable. Then, after arriving in Uganda, i was blown away by the beautiful nature the country has to offer! The variety of landscape in Uganda is just breathtaking. My guide Ben was also very knowledgeable of all the destinations we visited and the locations where animals can be found. It is impressive that he seems to know every piece of rock in Uganda! I saw all big 5 already in the first two days including Lions twice! Later in the trip I also saw loads of Hippos and Crocodiles, came into close contact with Chimpanzees and Gorillas and saw Giraffes and Zebras on foot! I would recommend Laba Africa to anyone who wants to experience the best Uganda has to offer under the most professional and attentive service. Already planning my next trip to visit the area again the next winter!

We had a very relaxed and safe journey on the roads of Uganda. At all times Samuel respects the speed and traffic on the road, and he was always on time to pick us up and drop us off at hotels and parks. He knows the area and the locals very well, something very important when you travel as a tourist in Uganda.

Highly recommended.

I had a unique trip through stunning Uganda with Sam! He really made the experience perfect. He customized everything to exactly what I wanted and made sure I didn't have to worry about anything.

I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to not only have a great experience but also to learn so many things since his insights and knowledge about Uganda were invaluable and allowed me to have a really authentic experience, which did not only focus on impressive wildlife watching but also on people and local culture.

We had a great time together, I truly liked travelling with him! Everything went really smoothly throughout the trip and I always felt extremely safe and taken care of.

Sam is very professional, reliable and sociable as well. Furthermore he is always ready to do everything needed to make you feel comfortable and to fully enjoy the adventure.

Besides that I loved the aspect of sustainable travelling and the companies efforts such as providing reusable plasticfree water bottles and planting trees to compensate effects of climate change.

I will definitely travel with Sam and Laba Africa Expeditions again when I return to beautiful Uganda!

We went to a 7-day trip with L.A.E in July 2020 which was excellent.

We got an amazing discount on our booking probably since Uganda is still closer for international tourists.

Our tour included Murchison Falls, Fort Portal, Queen Elizabeth, and Lake Bunyonyi. It was very well organized, we liked all the selected accommodations and our driver-guide was great! He was very experienced and spotted a lot of animals for us in the national parks. Laba Africa is definitely recommendable!
