About Magical Gorilla Adventures
Africa was gifted with so many attractions and one of its greatest gift is mountain gorillas, a primate species that shares over 98% of DNA with humans. These endangered primates reside in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo and can be visited for a fee. Africa is a very good destination for seeing mountain gorillas.

I would definitely book with this company again. We did the 5 days with Gorilla and Chimpanzee treks. We chose to the mid range for lodging. Both lodges we stayed at were nice and had great food. I was little uncertain at first about wiring money, however, everything turn out great. We put a deposit down last year and then Covid happened. We decided to take a chance and go June 2021. We were picked up at our hotel that they recommended and taken to Bwindi National Park. We stop along the way to eat, shop at a market, and see some Zebras. The gorilla trek did not disappoint. It was amazing. I also enjoyed all the game drives and the chimpanzee trek. They arranged our Covid test and everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend using this company.

We won't ever forget the two days we spent with the Mountain Gorillas in Uganda; majestic creatures and impressive nature and scenery around. Our guide Eddie was a super nice guy, always helpful and not only knowledgeable about the national parks, but also genuinely interested in personal exchange about life and everything else. In combination with the well-chosen accomodations, this made the whole safari so enjoyable. A special thank you goes out to Aina for making all this possible although our booking was made with very little lead time ahead. An amazing trip!

My daughter wanted to go on a trip to Africa to see Gorillas and other animals. I kept telling her that it is to expensive to travel there. Then I found tickets very inexpensive to Rwanda. Finding a tour company I thought would be hard. I did research for over a week checking government sights reviewing trip advisor and other reviews. I found magical gorilla adventures and I am so glad I did. Aina was very responsive by email and helped me adjust my itinerary to meet our desires. Not knowing exactly what to do, Aina made some suggestions as well. When we arrived we were meet by Eddie (fantastic guide) that took us to our hotel and dinner the first night in Rwanda. Eddie explained to us about Rwanda and about our trip and what to expect. The next day we drove 5-6 hrs to the Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (excellent lodge and our favorite one that we stayed at). We stopped for lunch at bird nest on lake bunyonyi with fantastic views (our second favorite place to stay). The food the whole trip was spectacular. The gorilla trek was a once in a lifetime experience but I would do it again in a heart beat. I felt safe the whole trip and at ease with Eddie. We had our own safari vehicle and did not have to worry about other people’s agendas. We could do or make the trip what we wanted. Eddie helped us to see all the animals in the park when we went on Safari after gorilla trekking. We were sad to leave when the time was up and we had the best time. The drives between places did not seem long because we were viewing animals along the way. If I asked Eddie to help me find something or exchange money he was always willing to help and took us to where we could get the best exchange rates. The only thing I would change is I would have brought some $100 dollar bills and some smaller ones ($5 and $10). I brought all $20 and there were 2-3 times I could have used different denominations for tipping or purchasing souvenirs. I so highly recommend Magical Gorilla Adventures and Aina to help set up your trip to Africa in this area. All accommodations were great and exceeded our expectations. All meals were great. We did pay for drinks during the meals but otherwise everything was all inclusive. The people were friendly and we saw so much. Thank you Eddie for a great experience and explaining everything to us. And thank you Aina for providing the itinerary.
