My family and I have traveled the world and have never had an experience as amazing as our trip with Agnes and Umoja Motherland Tours. From the hotels to the food to the experiences, every detail was perfect. We saw incredible wildlife on our treks and safaris: rhinos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, gorillas, hippos, waterbuck and chimps, to name a few (although my favorite were the warthogs!).
We learned about the culture from local performances of song and dance. We went on community walks to meet local people. We ate traditional foods, and stayed in hotels, lodges and also had a local residence stay. We went white water rafting on class 3-5 rapids which was scary but exhilarating!
We loved every minute of the trip. Thank you for an amazing adventure.

We did a 11 day tour through Uganda with Umoja Motherland Tours. The trip is one of the most beautiful and impressive trips that we have taken so far. Our guide Lambert was simply amazing - he organized everything perfectly and knew a lot about the country, its people and nature. The encounters with locals as well as the many interesting conversations we had with Lambert gave us a valuable insight into Ugandan daily life and culture. In addition, Ugandan nature is just breath-taking! Is there anything more beautiful than getting out of your tent and the first thing you see is an elephant feeding peacefully on some bushes nearby? This was just one of countless highlights of our trip. We felt extremely safe during the entire tour. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience - we can strongly recommend it to everyone!

I just returned from a 10 day solo trip to Uganda and I cannot say enough about it! Agnes from Umoja Motherland Tours was fabulous to work with and organized such a wonderful itinerary. I knew it would be an amazing trip and it far exceeded what I expected. The scenery was unlike anything else, there is a diverse amount of wildlife and the people & culture were amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone that I came across throughout my time there!
My guide, Nasser, was fantastic! He had so much knowledge and it was very interesting to learn about everything throughout my travels. He really added to this trip and I'm certain we will remain friends.
The lodges were excellent, food was delicious and I was able to try a variety of things (I kept telling them they were over-feeding me) :)
I have so many pictures and wonderful memories from this trip. If Uganda is not on your bucket list yet, then I highly recommend adding it and reaching out to Agnes to organize it! She can really tailor the trip to you. I hope to return again next year to see more of this beautiful country!

we went on a safri through Uganda. incredible experience. was very nice and everything was perfectly organized. From the airport pick up to the last day everything was very safe, well organized and well informed. The individual needs were also taken into account. However, 10 days is the maximum. definitely recommended.

Thank you, Agnes, for the trip of a lifetime. We loved it all, but especially amazing was going to Jinja and white-water rafting on the Nile, going on a gorilla trek and visiting the Batwa Pygmy community.
The trip was perfect. The food was delicious and plentiful. The lodges were lovely. The people were warm and friendly. The activities were exciting and inspiring. We canāt wait to come back!

My wife and I booked our second safari with Umoja Motherland tours and it went splendid. This time we did 11 days in Kenya and Tanzania. The Serengeti was my favorite, but Amboseli was definitely a solid gem. Our prior safari in Uganda & Rwanda was also amazing with Agnesās company. We will definitely book with her again.

I booked a five day Ugandan tour with Agnes in January 2019, and the trip exceeded all my expectations! Agnes and her guide/driver, Nasser, organised a wonderful tour, with a well-equipped vehicle, comfortable accommodation, delicious meals and great conversation throughout. I travelled solo, but the program and vehicle would equally suit groups or families. The itinerary included everything I wanted to do, including gorilla visit, safari by vehicle and boat, a village walk and the chance to see what life is like in rural Uganda - each and every experience was worth the time. Agnes also offered the chance to customise the itinerary in advance, or even on the day, to ensure that I could see and do everything I wanted.
I recommend Umoja Motherland Tours highly and would book another tour with them if in East Africa again. You can arrange exactly the tour that you want and then simply turn up and enjoy every moment.

I wanted to travel to Uganda for gorilla habituation, golden monkey habituation, and chimpanzee habituation. Agnes was a great help in answering all my questions promptly, and she helped organize the whole trip itinerary for me given the activities I told her I wanted to do. From the moment I landed in Uganda to the moment I left, everything was well taken care of. I had a great time seeing many different types of primates in Uganda, and I highly recommend this tour company.

We just returned from an 18-day trip. What an amazing experience!!! We want to say it was a Trip-of-a-Lifetime, but we loved it so much, we plan to return. Thank you, Agnes, for planning the trip. It was perfectly paced with the right amount of activities. Besides the game drives, we asked for cultural experiences. Each day was exciting and we always looked forward to the next day.
Our driver/guide was Nasser. He is the BEST! He was very organized and catered to our every need. He knows the history of Uganda and answered all our questions regarding Uganda. Oh - and if you love bird watching, you need to have Nasser guide you. He can name every bird.
Activities we did:
Jinja - Sunset boat ride to Source of the Nile
Game drive of Murchison Falls National Park
Boat Ride to Murchison Falls, also went to the Top of the Falls
Ziwa Rhino Santuary
Fishing on Lake Victoria
Game drive of Lake Mburo National Park
Long Horned Cattle Milking
Water safari on the Kazinga Channel
Chimpanzee trekking
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park - Gorilla Tracking
Batwa Pygmies Cultural Experience
Tour of a private school with boarding and converse with head teacher
Stopped at the Equator
Tour in Kampala - Idi Amin Torture Chamber
Craft markets
Searched for Shoebill bird
Toured Entebbe arboretum
Local community village experience
I could go on and on about our time in Uganda. Loved every minute of our time there and we were sad to leave. We highly recommend Agnes and Nasser!
