I was traveling as a solo female during rainy season and was happy I booked with Achieve Global Safaris. Joelle made the entire booking process painless and was patient and helpful when I had to switch travel dates due to the pandemic. My guide, Haruna, was kind, knowledgeable, and a very safe driver. He made me feel secure traveling alone. The midrange hotels during my five day trip to Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, and Bwindi parks were gorgeous and comfortable with amazing views. We lucked out and it did not rain as much but the gorilla trek in rainy season was still slippery on the trail (we came across a other group that had an injured trekker who needed to be evacuated by porters), and I therefore I recommend to have sturdy grip on your boots with ankle support and hiking poles if you are going in the off-season. Tip: Remember to bring enough Uganda shillings to tip park guides, porters, gorilla trackers, and boat cruise guides.

Overall, I highly recommend booking your Uganda adventure with Achieve! You will not find a better tour operator with excellent service at this competitive price.

Guide John led our group of 4 on a fantastic tour of Uganda — would recommend him to anyone interested in seeing the everything the country has to offer (especially the wildlife!).
John was a great tour guide, knowledgeable about all topics in Uganda and interested in sharing and discussing with us. A patient, kind, and positive person, and most of all happy to share his country with us. We always felt safe in his hands.
A great driver as well, we fared well on the long drives on bumpy roads thanks to John and his trusty van.

Seeing chimpanzees, gorillas, and hippos in the wild was a truly once in a lifetime experience. We'll cherish the experience and our memories forever.

Opted for a budget 3-day gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Departure was from Kampala, Uganda (12 hour drive to the national park). Had Edward as a driver - he was very friendly and kept the long drive entertaining. At Bwindi, my lodging was at Buhoma Communituly Rest Camp. Not a luxury lodging experience, but clean enough and sufficient for my needs (with a gorgeous view). The trek itself was solid with incredibly knowledgeable guides. And of course, the gorillas were a sight to behold. Note that the gorilla trek groups you up with travellers from other tourism agencies to fulfill a max group size of 8. Additionally, there are various levels of difficulty for the trek hike (as there are many gorilla families through Bwindi) so be sure to let your driver know your level of fitness and where you want a challenge. Also, book at least a month ahead of time to ensure that there are not problems in the company securing you a gorilla permit. I also recommend bringing a decent amount of cash in Ugandan shillings to tip the drivers, lodging staff, and trek guides and trek guards. Achieve Global Safaris offered a competitive price and a solid experience, so I'm happy to recommend this agency for gorilla trek arrangements.

Was suppose to write a little earlier, but then the pandemic hit. Achieve and Jolie helped us form the very beginning to arrange for the trip and she found some really nice hotels on our trip that started in Uganda and finished in Rwanda. And the fact that the African weather showed its best side didn't make the trip worse.
Our driver Haruna did everything in his power to make our journey amazing, and also gave us some insights in the life in Uganda during the sometimes long drives between the hotels.
When the pandemic is over I would absolutley recommend you to contact Achieve Global Safaris and let them help you tailor your trip.

First time in Uganda for my wife and I. Jolie helped me organize my itinerary to this amazing country. We had back and forth emails and texts for several weeks till i was satisfied with the itinerary and price. I want to thank Jolie for her time and patience. Everything was great ,specially our guide and driver Eddie that was always there to help us. He made us feel safe and if we wanted to see something or wanted a quick stop to enjoy nature, nothing was ever too inconvenient for him. Our itinerary was a 7 night 8 day trip that included stays at Lake Mutanda Resort, Kyambura Gorge lodge and Isunga Lodge. They where all nice in their own unique way. The only part of our itinerary that if i had to do over again would be if you decide to visit the Batwa tribe in Bidwindi, i would advise not to give them money outright, instead buy crafts from them. I think this keeps them from just being dependent on handouts. I think maybe taking the time to visit a local orphanage maybe would be good to add to itinerary and help out for a day if possible. We did have a little hickup with using Pesapal to make payment to Achieve Global Safari. For some reason payment wasn't going thru. We tried different ways with no success until we finally gave Pesapal my info and them try from their end. Long story short my card was compromised and i had to block it right after. I don't know if using Paypal would be an option to explore for future payments in case this ever happens again. Overall it was a success and i thank Jolie and Eddie for being there every step of the way. We are already talking about going back to Uganda next year and there's no doubt we want Eddie to be our driver because now he's also our friend.

We, a couple from Austria, had a great safari in the QE NP and then to the Lake Bunyonyi in the Southwest of Uganda during the last 4 dass.
We had a perfect guide, named ISSA, who declared us everything we wanted to know, and he had a "perfect eye" to see animals during the trip. Also he was a perfect driver during the roads and villages.
We arme looking forward to the next safari to Murchison falls NP nett week!
At least a big "Thank you" to the organisation, the Achieve Global Safaries for organising in the background!

Great experience. Driver Jimmy was on time and very accomodating. They were able to book my gorilla safari on short notice albeit it was low season. Jolie was very responsive and Jimmy was a great driver and guide during the 10 hours drive from Kampala to Bwindi and back.

We had a wonderful safari experience in Queen Elizabeth... Elisa was our guide and would strongly recommend him.. His knowledge about the park and connections in the local community has really enhanced the experience.. we had a baby with us and he had made the trip very hassle free throughout.. we had almost lost the hope of spotting the big cats after a two day stay and it was Elisa who made it sure that we spot them in the last few minutes at the park.. A truly unforgettable experience.. The stay at Mweya was enjoyable and refreshing... Thanks Achieve Global Safaris for a wonderful and unforgettable experience..

Two friends and I chose this company for the great experience ever!!
They are very fast on reply and super efficient!
We suggested our own itinerary (based on some itineraries they have) and our dream came true.
The drivers/guides/rangers were excellent. The treatment from office 5*****. The places we stayed (and chose) were also cool, well located, peaceful areas, good and well served food.
And the attraction we visited won the gold medal: Nyngwe Park, Gisakura tee plantations, museums along Rwanda, Kivu Lake, chimpanzees, gorillas and Nyiragongo Volcano!!! We felt safe at every second. Very well treated and always comfortable.
For sure I will choose them again on my next trip to the area.
Congrats!!

We just returned from a 5 Days Bwindi Gorillas and Queen Elizabeth National Park tour with Achieve Global Safaris. It was a fantastic tour filled with beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife including a lion sighting and of course the Mountain Gorillas.

We booked through Jolie, the Achieve Global Safari Tour Consultant. She was very informative, quick to respond to any questions and overall a pleasure to deal with.

Our guide, Arnold Mubiru, was very knowledgeable, calm and patient. He was always on the lookout for wildlife, birds, plants, crops, industries etc. and shared interesting information about the regions where we travelled and the history of the country. Of equal or perhaps greater importance, he’s an excellent driver and navigator to travel the often rough and rutted back roads with little to no signage. Arnold did his best to make our trip a positive experience and he did just that; we had a great time.

We chose the midrange accommodations; the rooms were comfortable, meals and service were excellent. The Parkview Safari Lodge is built high on the hillside with a spectacular view overlooking Queen Elizabeth National Park. In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park we stayed at the Buhoma Haven Lodge. Like the Parkview the Buhoma is also built on a hillside overlooking the Bwindi rainforest.

I wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour through Achieve Global and will certainly recommend them to my friends and family.
