From our first email from Olivier, we knew we were in good hands, and the outstanding experience Countryside gave us in this wonderful country confirmed it. The team worked hard to make our experience seamless, including arranging the permits and PCR tests necessary for wildlife treks. We had no delays or hassles *anywhere,* thanks to their diligence. And we were so fortunate to have Shadady as our guide for much of our journey. He was proactive, organized, outgoing, and fun! Just one example of his many acts of kindness: Seeing us covered in mud after our gorilla trek, he called ahead to our lodge to arrange for our boots, rain pants, and gaiters to be cleaned. It was little details like this that we never expected, but so appreciated. It made us feel so welcome—and impressed!
