Review of: Kigali City Tour
I took a city tour with Desiree. She was a great guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant, helpful. The tour was very interesting, enjoyable and informative. It covered a broad expanse of the city's neighborhoods, attractions and aspects of daily life. It included a mural walk, Kimisagara market, a milk bar, a women's cooperative coffee shop (Question Coffee) and a great lunch at a traditional Rwandan restaurant (Tamu Tamu) among other places. Each destination was accompanied by detailed information. A great day, reasonably priced. The only thing missing was the boat ride. And I didn't even realize we hadn't done it until the next day. That just goes to show how wonderful the tour was.

Review of: Kigali City Tour
We were a group of 6 friends visiting Kigali and decided to have a tour with Go Kigali. We did not regret anything! we had a great tour guide called Eric who told us many interesting stories about the city and guided us to locations we would have struggled to find. It was a fantastic day with the milk bar being a surprising favorite of mine. The others in my groups liked the markets, coffee location and other wonderful places. We all found the Genocide museum harrowing but interesting. Eric was very patient with us and was not push at all. It was one of my friends birthdays on the day of the tour and Eric got a cake for us to have at the end! Great day out! In terms of price we were a bit apprehensive at first but once you get to Kigali you realize that to do it all yourself would cost a lot more! it was easy, safe and very enjoyable.

Review of: Kigali City Tour
I enjoyed Kigali a lot, and partilaly it was because of Kigali CIty Tour! I only had one day to be spent in the city so I decided to join the tour to get to know different parts of the city. The tour was interesting - we went to a milk bar, drove through a few neighborhoods, walked through a local market, had ubugari at lunch. It was a sweet taste of Kigali life albeit rushing by quickly, allowing me to see a bit of local life which I would otherwise have not seen. Eric my guide was who made it more rewarding. We discussed a lot about history and stories of Kigali, so I could learn about the city's different facets. The only thing I'd recommend is more time be allocated in walking in particular popular neighborhoods, just in the streets, getting to know the buidlings and such, and feel the hills of Kigali. That way it'd be like really knowing the city more. Keep up with the good work!

Review of: Kigali City Tour
Go with Go Kigali Tours! We actually did all three of the tours offered by this company. The Kigali City Tour was a terrific overview and Desiree did a good job of showing us the capital. We visited a milk bar, tried several different fruits in the market (a few of which we had never heard of nor tasted before like the tree tomato), visited some street art murals, lunch at a local spot where we enjoyed lots of Rwandan dishes, and finished off at the Kigali Memorial. We also enjoyed the Akagera Safari tour, a long day where our guides Bosco and Alex made sure we saw so many animals in the park (hippos, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, zebras, baboons, warthogs, vervet monkeys, beautiful birds etc,and even a snoozing lion!). Bosco took some amazing photos for us using his binoculars when he saw we had only brought our iPhone. Of course the highlight of the trip to Rwanda was the gorilla trek. Since we made our home base at the downtown Marriott and didn't stay near the Volcanoes National Park it was so convenient that Go Kigali offered a day trip to visit the gorillas. They took care of permits and were so supportive when our luggage didn't arrive (including all our hiking gear!!) and our driver/guide Muzamiru arranged for us to rent boots and raincoats for the day and Xavi even lent us his personal backpack. Amazing customer service - always responded right away to all our emails and questions and concerns! We highly recommend this tour company!

Review of: Kigali City Tour
I enjoyed this tour...though some stops I was wondering about. Haha. My guide, Desiree, made this tour very enjoyable and entertaining. She is very knowledgeable and fun-spirited. This was a pretty good intro to Kigali and had some stops on here that i would most definitely not have discovered nor explored on my own. The market stop was very interesting and a peek into real life Kigali. You wont be hungry by the end of the day!
