Had a great time thanks to our guide Rambo who was knowledgeable and passionate about his country, as well as friendly and professional. He drove well, explained things along the way and always had a smile on his face. Booking the trip with Phillip was a breeze too and he kept us well informed and up to date. Excellent service and fair pricing - I give this tour operator an A plus! And Rambo - A plus plus!

What did Namibia give me and this trip? Everything a trip can give you... Sossusvlei bring back the peace of your soul…and if anyone ever thought the desert was boring…. just check it out... drink a beer and watching the sunset at the Fish River Canyon... walking in admiring the colorful houses of Lüderitz...Meet fully grown cheetahs... all this with a guide who you feel completely safe with and who knows the answer to anything you ask

We recently returned from a wonderful tour of Namibia. Philip was very helpful from the get go providing an itinerary and answering all our questions in a timely manner - which helped me feel good about selecting Wild Wind Safaris as our tour operator. And our guide, Rolencia, was great too! Very kind, professional, and attentive to our needs. Whenever we needed to stop to take photos or make a request, she was there for us! I feel like we left Namibia with a new friend!! When we needed to make some last minute changes to the itinerary due to covid restrictions, they were both quick to help. Namibia is such a beautiful country and the 10 day tour was a great way to sample some of its best spots. We went with the most basic accommodation level to keep costs low and all were totally sufficient and comfortable (well except one that we were switched to due to a lodge losing our booking but that was really just bc there wasn’t AC and it’s really hot in December!). Tip: Make sure you get accommodations with AC if traveling in summer. We did upgrade to one luxury lodge in Sossusvlei, Dead Valley Lodge, which was amazing & beautiful. Highly recommend. Vehicle we traveled in was comfortable and felt safe as well. All in all it was a fantastic trip and something we will remember forever. Thank you Philip & Rolencia!!

I booked my very first safari with Wild Wind Safaris. Philip my consultant truly went above and beyond, finding answers to questions I didn't even ask, sharing their direct, honest opinions, quick emailing never trying to upsell me when they easily could have succeeded. I highly recommend this company! I just returned from a 12 day trip around Namibia, a truly awesome experience. From this limited experience, I can tell that selecting the right tour guide can be the difference between a great and an awesome trip. Anyone can spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, etc. However, Rambo from WWS sought out all local wildlife, which he was clearly familiar with. Moreover, it is not just the mammals which are fascinating, but also the birdlife and flora, for which he had an equally great grasp. He was experienced, kind, funny and so knowledgeable! The lodging experience, was equally phenominal. I cannot picture touring Nambinia any other way, and have already advised Rambo of my intent to return for a signficantly longer tour, using their services, within the next couple of years. Also it should be mentioned that Rambo considered in light if Covid-19 all precautions and was always concerned about health safety.
