Okapana meat feast straight from the fire. The Namibian meat is the most amazing meat one could ever eat.

We took a several-hour tour with Lothem Safaris and I learned so much about Katatura "the place where no one wants to live." It doesn't mean that so much these days, with apartheid a thing of the past. Yes, there are still poor areas, but...More

We had a most informative 5-hour private tour of Katutura Township on our second day in Namibia. Our Namibian guide was a well-educated young man who explained much about Namibia, as will as showing us the township and explaining its expansion. He explained how the...More

The City of Windhoek consists of so much more than most visitors realize. With enough time in Windhoek, the city's full history can be properly understood. Check with some locals and ask about the best time and locations to visit in Katatura. Other than the...More

The kapana is the best thing I have ever tasted....that's all you should ever go to that area for. Had a gun held to my head and my phone & wallet stolen. The police are absolutely useless and took no interest at all. It's apparently...More
