Every traveler/tourist NEEDS to enjoy a beer and the atmosphere at Joes. Their food is great and their beer even better! With the service they can improve a little bit but its not that bad.

Food this good should not be legal. I'm sure I've already written a review on the crumbed mushrooms but I had them AGAIN and my my my. If you can go to Joe's and share your meal, than you shouldn't be eating at all!!!!!

It is a "must" in Windhoek. It is placed in a very singular place, with a special decoration. A great variety of meets such as crocodile, kudu, oryx, etc, all them very well cooked, can be enjoyed. Special mention has to be made to desserts too.

This was probably the worst meal we had in Namibia. Our hotel recommended going to Joe's as a Windhoek must do, which it probably is - for a drink. The problem is the size with which clearly the staff cannot cope. Service was poor - 2 glasses of wine never arrived. We would have had pudding but just got fed... More

We arrived at Joe's with our group of 14 consisting adults and children at the booked time only to find they had no record of our reservation. And the place was packed, so fixing this wasn't going to be easy. 30 minutes into the promised 15 minute wait we were shown to what looked like a furniture storeroom with bright... More

Joey's is not your typical Restaurant, the Decor to start with is unique, I have not seen anything like it anywhere else. The food and service are excellent, as well as the atmosphere.

We had a confirmed e-mail booking for a table for 2 prior to our trip to Windhoek. Were seated opposite each other in the centre of a table for 6, sharing with a strange couple on either side. Food was terrible. Cold and tough lamb shank, the mushroom sauce on the pork seemed to come out of an instant sauce... More

Nice hangout with friends and easily accessible. Surroundings could be very noisy as it's quite too close to a major street. Not idea for any form of business meetings.

The food is good. I always enjoy the kind of weird ambience of the whole place. The place has a really unique deco which is always an interesting sight. The service is great but of course u find one or two rude waiters. I always like the lunch basket, which is so feeling thus, I always share with friends.

Almost a victim of it's own succes. However we had a great dinner in an international sphere and , as we were sitting at a large table, a realy good and informal Conversation with two other couples. Make a reservation, otherwise iT is almost impossible to come in. THE Food is oke but it's more people and sphere That make... More
