If you only have to do one excursion, don't hesitate, this is the one to do!

Thanks to Dylan & Samy for this extraordinary day! A team that takes great care of us. No promise other than to do their best to make the most of this moment!

And we were amazed! Sea turtle, dolphins, macaques, small colorful birds... a meal away from the crowds! Only the sun played coy but that in no way dampened our good mood!

And, what is not negligible, all this for a very attractive price compared to what tour operators will offer you!

Go there with your eyes closed, you won't regret it!

Thanks again to this superb team!!

Excellent day on the Apollon Cruse boat!
Very nice and cool team! Thanks to Samy and his (colleague whose name I forgot) (July 21, 2023) who gave us a great day where we saw dolphins up close! An aperitif with your feet in the turquoise water with music.

Miro is very honest and doesn't sell dreams because he told me that the Dolphins weren't a sure thing and we were lucky.

I would do it again without hesitation! Thanks to the entire Apollon Cruse team

Today we went on the most amazing boat tour with the Apollon Boat Tour Team. Everything was top notch from beginning to end. From the new friends made on the boat. Miro who the tour agent and his brilliant customer service skills, to Emily and Geno our tour guide and driver. The wonderful cooks who prepared the scrumptious fresh food of garlic bread, lobster, chicken, Prawns, grilled fish all seasoned/marinated to perfection(you can see I'm a food lover... lol). We visted the the Tower/lighthouse island. Also the waterfalls and fed the monkeys...There is so much more I could say but its best you take the tour and find out for yourself...You won't be disappointed!

The main recreational sport on the island is deep-sea fishing, with the main season falling in from October to March, but there is no closed season and a good catch can be had throughout the year. Fish caught are marlin, barracuda, tuna, wahoo, yellow fin and jack fish. Big game-fishing can be organised on line or at any large hotel group on the island. Full fishing gear is provided, along with an experienced crew. You can also find fishermen who helm their own pirogues, (the local fishing boats) who will take you out fishing for the day, which is what I prefer to do when visiting. For those of you who prefer not to fish, there are other things to do such as, golf, sailing, bowling, surfing, water skiing, swimming and sunbathing, and one of the island’s other most important sports, skin diving. Skin diving was first started by the Sino-Mauritians in the 1940’s and now there is a very popular scuba-club which was founded by Australian, English and Mauritian divers. Some of the best underwater areas are Morne Brabant Reef, Black River, Whale Rock and Horseshoe Spit. As there are dozens of known wrecks around the coast dating back to 1615, it is a “must do” for anyone who enjoys this sport.

Today we went on a speed boat tour. There was 8 people in all, 4 from our hotel and 4 from another plus our guide and the boat driver. We set off just after 9 and sped out into the lagoon. We visited the lighthouse and saw along the reef and saw the marooned ship. From there we went to Blue Bay and had a tour in a glass bottom boat. A couple snorkels and the reef and fish were amazing. From there we went to see the monkeys which you can feed then onto the waterfall. We saw some flying foxes in the trees. From there we went to a place and had our picnic, which was grilled fish, lobster, prawns and chicken, washed down with beer, wine and champagne as we had a lady celebrating her birthday. Copious amounts of rum and Coke were consumed on the boat too. From there we went whizzing around to Isle de Cerf were we had a laze on the beach. From there we had a trip of half an hour back to our hotel. The first part was gentile then he went full throttle which was extremely exhilarating.

A great day out and thanks to Geno and Olivier for a wonderful your and for the other 3 couples who made the day so special.

A five star day. 😀

On recommendation we booked an exclusive day out with Storm Boats, a whole speed boat just for two :) We had a vague idea of what to expect from those who recommended but the day surpassed expectations. It was fabulous sitting their like a pop star with music playing whilst zipping along with 300 horse power sitting on the back!

Won't ell you too much as don't want to spoil it for you. Kelvin who sorted the bookings may take a little time to get back to you but he always does and does what he says. Pascal who took us out was easy going and friendly and can cook a mean captain Fish.

After the day trip we did a couple of Spinning fishing trips which were great fun and we caught plenty of fish with friendly competition between Pascal and ourselves, think he won. Mixture of fish caught inducing Captain fish, Barracuda, Needle fish and GT all whilst fishing inside the reef. All kit provided was good stuff and Pascals enthusiasm when you and he catch is infectious.

Highly recommended especially if you want to feel just that little bit special. Value for money yes, hate to think what that boat costs !
