We were there for 1 1/2 hours as part of an all-day catamaran trip. Interesting tourist shop, but not much else to do in the time we had. But we know there is a good golf course and restaurant on the island. Nothing to see snorkelling, as the reef is too far out.

Gem of Mauritius. The most beautiful views, clear sand, little tiny crabs runnings around the beach. the boat ride to the island on a speedboat was amazing. You should take the package including the lunch on the other island. That was the best lobster I have ever tried mmmmm and the home made rum purchased from the lovely family providing... More

Had a day trip here in January - stunning beach - very quiet when we were there. Brilliant speedboat ride.

beautiful spot but can become very crowded in some areas when high tide comes in. Don't just sit near lagoon or outlet, venture further around island for better beach location and a more peaceful area otherwise you risk being taken over by the masses.

Went here on a boat trip. It is a lovely place but spoilt by the sheer numbers of people who go there each day. You can only get there by boat or helicopter. Lots of boat trips go there.
