Went with my daughter to Madagascar for her birthday…a place she’s dreamed of for years. It definitely met expectations. We saw so many lemurs (including babies!), birds, and other amazing creatures. The forests are magical. My daughter said the hike up the Tsingy was one of her favorite hikes of all time. Overall, a memorable time.
Arsene took care of us very well. He’s a great driver and handled the challenging road conditions very well. He made sure we were comfortable, with functional air conditioning in the car (from what we heard, many drivers go without it, even though it’s very hot and dusty). He even asked our hotel to make a cake for my daughter on her birthday, which made the day extra special. We always felt very safe and cared for.
If you’re heading to Madagascar (which you should…it’s amazing), we would definitely recommend Arsene and his company.
Arsene took care of us very well. He’s a great driver and handled the challenging road conditions very well. We really lucked out ending up with Arséne as our tour guide for the total 9 days we spent in Madagascar. He is kind, knows the roads well, is passionate about his country and people and sharing his knowledge. He speaks english well and showed interest in learning more of our Aussie culture and funny sayings, he loves a good metaphor!
He made it so easy to organise, I told him the things that were priority for us to see and he created a itinerary promptly for us to review and approve. He did mention that considering we were only there for 9 days there would be a lot of driving. I would suggest to anyone to either minimise your destinations or extend your trip to allow more time at each place. We loved every second of it but it was tiresome and we felt bad for Arséne driving around 8 hours everyday.
Madagascar has stunning landscapes of crop fields and the highlights were trekking through jungles to spot lemurs and chameleons and also rock climbing up Tsingy!

I had the most fantastic time with Arsene and his team. The tour was mainly in Morondava, Kirindi and Andasibe.
Very good communication and support from Arsene from before going to Madagascar, during the whole trip and after returning.
Arsene is very kind, honest and knowledgeable. He was able to give valuable advice for the trip.
I would recommend carefully planning as roads are not well maintained and it can take a long time to travel around. Internal flights might be a good option for more effective and less exhaustive travels.
I highly recommend Arsene and Lovemada to anyone thinking of touring this beautiful and unspoilt country of Madagascar. Be prepared for lots of adventures during the rainy seasons, but Arsene is always there to help and assist. I was lucky to be able to see the beautiful changing landscapes, the baobabs, so many lemur species, rainforest, great people and delicious food.
I definitely recommend Madagascar to anyone, you will not regret it.

Lovemada was an excellent tour operator. We planned our trip with the director - Arsene over a year. He communicated with us, in English and had really personal advice on what to do in our 25 day visit in Madagascar. He worked with us to choose sites to see and offered visits to villages where we learned more about the culture and how people live in Madagascar.
The tour was designed to meet our needs. How physical we wanted to be, what kind of accommodations, our endurance levels, etc. He provided one on one assistance to us, whenever we planned a difficult hike. Our local guides were all the best found in the region, in one case we were guided through Tsingy de Bemaraha by the mayor of the local village. The guides all spoke English and were knowledgeable about their community and knew how to locate things in the dense forests.
We spent all 25 days with our driver/guide Arsene and he was extremely courteous, and thoughtful throughout. By the end of the trip we felt like family.
An example of one of the thoughtful touches he advised was that we purchased really good soccer balls in the local market in Antananarivo, and gave them away in remote villages. This gave us a personal connection across the country with different people.
We can very securely recommend Lovemada to be one of the best tour guides in Madagascar. That made such a difference to our experience of this fascinating and beautiful country.

When i decided to visit Madagascar, I was doing my research and came across an article a lady had wrote about Madagascar. She was very impressed with Lovemada Tours and highly recommend them. I contacted Lovemada back in July and Arsene was very quick to respond. He helped us planned our itinerary and even when we had to make changes , he was very receptive and did everything to accommodate us. If you want to have one of a kind experience in Madagascar, You have to use Lovemada tours and Arsene is your guy. Throughout out our trip in Madagascar, he gave us an amazing tour of every single bit of our itinerary.. An extraordinary experience. Thank you Arsene

LoveMada was an amazing . Arsene was a great tour guide who was flexible in our needs and wants. He was able to update the itinerary to our whims. He planned the route effectively and we saw so much of Madagascar that it felt like it wasn't enough. It was a great pleasure to visit this beautiful country. LoveMada planned the trip accordingly to ensure we had adventure, hikes, cultural, and people experiences!
We stayed for ~10 days and we felt super safe and well taken care off. Throughout the trip, we were kept well informed about the different details about Madagascar.
I highly recommend LoveMada to all.

I was on a tour with Arsène earlier this month. Being a solo female traveler, traveling to Africa alone wasn't for the faint of heart. However, he was already earning my trust by being flexible even before my arrival in Madagascar. He was in regular communication with me in order to ensure a smooth journey from the start to the finish. He catered his tour services based on the point of interests that I was interested in. Arsène flawlessly planned out my itinerary. He was hospitable thorough the trip. The roads in Madagascar were very challenging to maneuver around. Arsène did a fabulous job driving me from North to South and to the West. He made it a comfortable road trip and I would trust his driving and safety with no hesitation. Due to a personal circumstance, I needed to interrupt my trip and return home. During the process, I ran into issues with the airlines among others not related to the tour. Arsène was quick to change plans for me and assured that I was well taken care of. He stood up to the occasions numerous times to solve problems for me so that I could enjoy the trip with as much ease as I could. Madagascar is a beautiful country with lots of culture, history, and hospitable people. Arsène and Tour Guide Lovemada will always be my choice of tour services when I return to Madagascar. I have traveled around the world. They are absolutely the best tour company I have ever come across. I would highly recommend them with zero hesitation.

Tour Guide Love Mada is a great choice if you want to travel around Madagascar. Arsene is a very thoughtful and experienced tour guide and organizer, he takes care of everything and solves the most problematic situations with care. We felt we were in good hands, it was safe and pleasant also with young children. The best option is if not only your organizer but your travel guide is him too, he speaks perfect English and French of course. I can recommend him to you.

Lovemada provided excellent service throughout the duration of our 10 day excursion. They were very flexible and attended to our needs. As a young group of girls we felt safe and happy with the service! Our guide went above and beyond to show us the beauty of Madagascar and came across very passionate about the country. Thank you very much for the most wonderful trip:)

We spent 2 weeks in Madagascar with Arsene and left with great memories. He is very knowledgeable trustworthy and very professional. When local flight from mondorava was cancelled, he immediately contacted us and arranged for a vehicle to return us to Antana. Always allow 1 day nite stay in antana be4 catching your international flights.
He also communicates well, quick response and speaks very good English and drives safely. A guide and driver is a must in Madagascar and we highly recommend tour guide lovemada. The charges are also reasonable. He uses good condition 4 wheel japanese cars. Go for Lovemada
