We had Jeanbe and Felix for 3 days- from Tana to Andasibe. It was really great and we liked having everything organised before we flew down to Fort Dauphin. We paid a deposit for the trip and then euros on arrival which was absolutely fine. They also collected us from our accommodation in Tana which was perfect. Things to consider - stay at the Mantandia Lodge in Andasibe. It is great and much better than Vakona Forest Lodge and the others in the area. Another thing- on the night walk just beware of which guide you get as we were pretty sure ours was drunk... we did have him the next day however and he was very good! Just perhaps at night not the best... Finally, Lemur Island is pretty terrible. Basically a zoo as the lemurs are not wild... there is a good boat ride at the end but really not worth it. All in all we were super happy with Jeanbe Tours and would recommend to others 100%!

We booked our vacation tour through JeanBeTours, and were pleasantly surprised over the amount of care that was put into our stay. An example could be when Jean (who was personally guiding us), suggested we mix up the schedule, since it was possible we would otherwise have to cancel an event due to bad weather. Jean showed great respect for us and our time, because of which we highly recommend his service if you are looking for outback tours in Madagascar.

We did a full day city tour of Antananarivo with Jean Be and loved every second. We starter the morning with a walking tour of the city, visiting the train station & Analakley market which was buzzing. We walked from lower to mid to upper antanarivo visiting churches & an outdoor launderette. We finished this part of the tour with the most incredible views of the city. The second part of the tour was visiting the lemur park. We drove through the city (about 30mins) to the park to see 6 different types of lemurs which was incredible. You can get very close to them (without touching) and see them in their habitats. I would thoroughly recommend using Jean Be. He gave us tips for the rest of our trip which were invaluable.

My husband and I travelled with Jeanbe in very comfortable car from Antanarivo for 2 nights stay at the Feon'ny Ala hotel. Very attentive and friendly service with competent and safe driver Felix. I can recommend their services with confidence.

My son and I visited Madagascar in October of 2019 with Jean Be. We did a nine day tour with the Tsiribihina tour and Big and LIttle Tsingy. Jean Be is such a kind a delightful person. We enjoyed getting to know him and the other guides during our time in Madagascar. All of our accommodations were lovely and charmingly decorated. Be forewarned, most of the lodgings in Madagascar do not have air conditioning and apparently October is the hottest month there. Regardless, Jean Be and his associates did everything possible to make our stay as memorable as possible. HIghlights included watching my son feed a brown lemur as it ran up on his shoulder, listening to our boat guides sing along with traditional Malagasy music as we floated down the Tsiribihina, and eating several delicious meals (including giant river prawns) at the Mercury restaurant, a thatched dirt floor hut near Tsingy park. Each of our guides, Vonjy on the river trip, Gilbert and Tookie at Tsingy, the young man who toured us through the baobabs (can't recall his name), and Jean Be himself, were friendly and informative, as well as speaking English quite well. Madagascar is not an easy country to visit. You will not enjoy the comforts you are probably used to, but you will never forget this amazing adventure. I cannot recommend Jean Be and his team highly enough. Such incredible value for the money, and he was also very flexible in making changes to our program as needed.
