The beach was clean and water was nice and blue. We ate at the French Restaurant and had a lovely meal of fresh fish. Very quiet and relaxing. So nice to get away from the chaos of Conakry streets!

Easy to access for a day trip from Conakry. Room island is wonderful to swim and relax. I would have loved to spend the night there as well.

It is only a short boat ride from Conakry. There are dense palm forests and nice sandy beaches. Friendly local people. Best time to visit from November to March (dry season).
