    Great experience
Entering the space through the grand, artistically crafted doors was the start of the experience. Art filled the walls of 3 floors; shelves and floor space had beautiful sculptures, ancient and modern juxtaposed. There were mixed media art pieces and multidimensional artwork, some of which felt as if they were reaching out to you; fabric; jewelry; bags and more. Although there is little interior lighting, the natural light coming in worked well. Definitely should be on your list of places to visit. Great environment to browse without any pressure.

    Huge souvenier market
This is the huge souvenir market. Literally, everything is here. I purchased several music instruments, which were very good and convenient. Saw a lot of attracting Pai tings as well. Nice to place to visit and look for special souvenir to bring back to home.

    A Jewel in Accra
This gallery has 3 levels of African Art by local artists. Very eclectic! Everything from african masks, metal sculptures to coffins shaped like tennis shoes, buses, etc. I found the coffins very interesting. What a jewel in Accra. When I went to the gallery there was construction in the front of the gallery making it hard to walk. However, with help of a few men in our group they made it easy to get into the gallery. That's the reason for 4 stars.

A huge range of art on display- sculptures and paintings. Many on sale. Accessories (bags and bracelets) and some clothing also on sale.

Some excellent pieces of art to admire. Well worth a visit.

Free entrance.

Right on the coast. Lovely views of the sea. Labadi beach close by.

Located in the Ohanye House on the sea coast, is this two story art gallery. A large percentage of the art pieces are carvings of local artists. there are a number of different rooms you can wander through that display in dirty glass cabinets loads of inexpensive jewelry and handicrafts and a variety of African fabrics and garments. The prices are inexpensive and they take credit cards (not AMEX). Foreign currency is acceptable but the purchase must be more than about $10 USD. Upstairs are paintings. A stop is worthwhile if you are looking for a few local souvenirs but this is definitely not a "high end shop." Parking is free in the dirt lot in front. Wheelchair accessible.

If you're into art, and even if you aren't, this gallery is a must- see. We were lucky enough to have a guide who was both affable and knowledgeable. We learned about the different artists and about the history and significance of many of the pieces. Plan to spend a couple of hours here if you really want to take it all in.

Art isn’t my thing, but there are definitely some great pieces here. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because It’s poorly lit and there was no air conditioning or fans so on a hot day it was very uncomfortable. While the lack of air conditioning is typical in Ghana I found the lighting situation surprising since most art galleries are typically very well lighted to draw attention to detail.

Three stories of really wonderful modern art and a few rooms of high quality souvenirs. Honestly, even if you aren't going to buy a painting, I would come here to buy souvenirs over the Art market. Everything is fairly priced, nobody hassles you and you don't have to haggle.

A fabulous (free) art gallery situated next to the coast on the outskirts of Accra. It was one of the best places we visited in Accra and well worth the 15-20 minute drive to get there. The gallery is full of high quailty art (paintings) as well as a range of masks and other artefacts/souvenirs that are spread out over three floors which we were free to wander around by ourselves (which took about an hour). Most pieces are available to buy at fixed prices which seemed very reasonable (and a lot less than some of the prices I was quoted in the Arts Centre/craft village in Accra + without the hassle). The building doesn't have A/C but it doesn't matter as there is a lovely sea breeze that blows through most rooms (we visited on a hot day as well). Highly recommended!

Don’t miss this wonderful amalgamation of artistic diversity!
Displaying everything from traditional to contemporary art, artists and artifacts, the place feels more like a museum/cultural center than retail gallery.

I found myself here on multiple occasions during my visit.
Outstanding!
