One of THE best spots in Accra to listen and enjoy live music. If you want to sample an authentic Afrobeat experience this is your Mecca!!

The food is good and the cocktails are great! What more can you ask for.....customer service? Top notch service with friendly staff.

This venue attracts an eclectic mix of locals and tourists a like. If you're in Accra you should definitely put this on the must visit list for sure. I know I'll be back again before I leave!

Fun Monday night

If you are looking for something different to do on a Monday evening, republic bar is the place to be. They host a weekly paint session on Monday evenings. 50 Cedis gets you in and you are given a canvas, 3 paint brushes and some paint to unleash your creative side. Oh and a free cocktail of your choice. My cousin ordered the yam chips and domedo which is fried pork. He said it tasted good. Will definitely go back

The unique Afro-Cuban bar in Accra

Great bar with a large choice of original cocktails and also draft beer!!! I really loved Beersap (Beer with Bisap sirup which change from Star!) There is a lot of expat but the prices are correct. The music is great and not too loud.

The music was great and so were the drinks. Its a great hang out spot but you have to get there early if you want to secure a table.

Republic is open almost everyday. It is however lively from Wednesday all through the weekend so if you are in town, make it a point to stop by.

Yeye goat is the best dish

Whenever I come to Accra, I need to go at least two times in this bar. They have very good drinks and dish. Especially the Yeye Goat plate! This is the best dish of the menu I want the receipe :)

Laid back street bar that plays cool music and is frequented by cooler people. Nice place to chill outside in the bar and street.

Ghanaian rum is recommended

The Republic of Shenanigans

The service here is underwhelming, as are the food and drinks. Be warned, despite what you are told - this is a cash only establishment. Situated on a side street (read alley), this spot is popular with locals and visitors alike for its large outdoor flat-screen featuring sporting events. Worth a visit for the photo-op, but keep it moving afterwards.

Great place for fun drinks with friends or date night

A great place with good customer service, a good choice of cocktails and African bar dishes. Highly recommend for a night out or quick drink. Great ambience, good DJ on Monday night if you like to dance and karaoke midweek. Open to very late.
