From the moment I first made contact with Mimi at BlasTours things were smooth as can be. She was very responsive and quickly tailored a trip for our family of four with two kids under 8. I send back some comments (a few times) and she quickly adjusted getting something suitable for our needs. We actually had the pleasure of meeting Mimi in person as she was vacationing over the holiday in one of the towns we were in.
We visited Accra, Kumasi, and the Elmina area over 8 days and 7 nights.
The trip was guided by Sly with Paul as our driver. First, big thanks to Paul who effortlessly glided us through traffic around Ghana. He was great and we always felt safe.
Second, Sly is just a great guide with a calm demeanor and is a count of knowledge. He started each day with a proverb and time and time again proved his supreme knowledge and connections of and in Ghana. We couldn’t walk into a single place without 5 people knowing him. He’s also an author who wrote a book of proverbs that my son could not put down.
Such a great organization through and through. Highly recommended for your next trip in the area. We are looking forward to the next time.

My wife and I spent 13 days on a birding trip in Ghana in late September 2021 arranged by Blastours, with a bird guide (see below), 4x4 vehicle, driver, hotels and meals all included. It was very well organised and we had a fantastic time. We had the privilege of having Kalu Afasi as our bird guide and he is amazing: he does not miss a bird and even if you miss it he will find it on his scope. He knows all the best birding spots. Further, both he and the driver, Selassi, were great company and we learned a lot about Ghana from them.

I had one of my most memorable experiences on my recent trip to the Volta and Oti Regions of Ghana, organised by Blastours. The team is very professional, highly motivated and customer friendly.
I can recommend Blastours to anybody who wants an enjoyable and hassle-free holiday in Ghana, Togo, Benin or anywhere along the West Coast of Africa.

My husband and I just returned from a 9-day trip to West Africa, where we explored Togo, Benin, Ghana, and Cote d'Ivoire. This trip was very well organized, with very clear, effective, and timely communication from and with Mimi. Having the trip set up so well made me very optimistic about the trip, itself, and we were not disappointed! Patrick was our driver/guide, and he was very personable and very knowledgeable. He was also open to feedback about what we needed from/within our experience and accommodated us accordingly. Our supplementary guides in various points of our visit were also very personable and knowledgeable. We learned a lot during this visit, and survived four land border crossings, which was a feat in and of itself! I'm pretty picky, and I highly value communication, so, when I give 5 stars, that's a pretty big deal. I would definitely use BlasTours again, and very highly recommend BlasTours for those looking for quality service for a reasonable price. FYI - we were told (after arrival) that having $100 USD bills (vs. $50 or $20 bills) will yield a more favorable exchange rate, so, please keep that in mind.

The best part of the trip was being taken care of by an experienced tour leader. Nathan was prompt, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and very attentive to our needs. He was also flexible!!!
My favorite part of the trip was the mix of urban and traditional experiences. The traditional market experience, combined with city dining and outdoor activities provided options. We were exposed to the multi faceted life in Ghana, including its history, agriculture, education systems, and economy.
I highly recommend BlasTours and would definitely visit again.

Very well organised from the start to finish. Got a driving masterclass from Mr Emmanuel who was nothing short of being a total professional. The mini van was very well equipped with multiple amenities to allow for a very smooth ride. Mr Emmanuel was very knowledgeable about the volta region and all its history and culture. BlasTours is a solid choice for all things tour and visiting in Ghana and I will be soon contacting them to be used again! I wish them all continued success in all their endeavours. Know that with them, you are in great hands!

Our guide was Michael. Michael was wonderful to me and my husband. We were warmly greeted at the airport and taken directly to a nice hotel. Michael made sure we settled into the hotel before leaving and setting a time to pick us up the next day. He was always early to pick us up from the hotel on activity days. Micheal took care of everything each time we went to a new activity which is really important when you are new to Ghana. We always felt safe and cared for. We enjoyed his personality, and we had a great time in Accra, Cape Coast, and at Volta Lake.

Had a wonderful experience visiting the area with a fabulous tour guide (Nathan) who was extremely patient and knowledge. Many of our tour stops provided true cultural insight, from authentic cuisines to market interactions - with Nathan always being on point to share facts and answer questions. Also like having a separate, dedicated driver so our guide could focus on our experience.
Although I wasn’t aware beforehand of several options available for our package (now I know & see online), I was still pleased. I’d recommend this company and would consider utilizing them again in the future.

Blastours was a fantastic company to travel with. They designed a custom trip for us which included Nigeria, Benin, Togo, and Ghana. The trip was terrific! Communication prior to the trip was quick and informative. Our guides were personable and knowledgeable and they gave us their best efforts! Thank you Bright and Isaac. The locations we visited included local guides who were also very good. The company looked after all of our needs before and during the trip. I would not hesitate to use this company again! We were very happy and more than satisfied!

Fun tour to Kakum National Park at a good pace. We had a delicious local lunch with a variety of local food. Informative guides that kept us entertained during the long drive between the ship and the park. And, they made sure they got us back to the ship before all aboard. The swing bridge hike was more difficult than many expected so not recommended at all if you have mobility issues or if you aren’t in shape. The hike was through the jungle and was a steep uphill on uneven pavers. We enjoyed the hike and loved walking on the bridges in the canopy of the trees.
