We went to the Accra Mall with the expectation of finding a lot of shops and was very disappointed. Shops are few and expensive and it seems like the main attraction if a somewhat dull Shoprite supermarket. There is absolutely no reason to go there.

Mostly electronic
Stores. But a great shoprite grocery store. A few fast food restaurants. Lots of traffic. A taxi took 30 minutes each way. Regardless of time of day

It’s a place with a big parking and good amount of shops with both moderate and costly prices. JET clothing store has a membership card that accumulates bonus coins. I like to check it any time I got to Accra Mall. )) Some stores are closed during Covid-19 pandemic (including restaurants).

Shop Rite and Game are the two big stores here, South African grocery and department stores, respectively. Both have good prices. A decent food court, cinema, and various tech stores and boutiques round out the place. Note that access to the mall is off the eastbound ramp for the Tema motorway before the toll starts, confusing for the uninitiated. Traffic in the late afternoon/evening and on Saturday is terrible.

My host took me here on my first day in Accra. Though it was not as extensive as the typical mall urban mall in the US (for those in the Washington area, it was not quite the size of Greenbelt or Iverson malls lol), but it was nice and not subjected to the daily power blackouts. It included typical mall attractions like a movie theater, al fresco food court and about 100 stores. My second favorite was the eyeglass shop where the friendly young man meticulously repaired my broken glasses. My favorite was the ShopRite grocery store that looked straight out of New Jersey! All the fare an American tourist could ask for!

I couldn't believe the variety of world-wide shops available. Items from various parts of Europe. Nice size mall with a kids sections. Many food shops. I recommend all people to shop at Accra Mall.

Basically it's a not so lit not so well designed mall, with the usual fashion, pharmacy, mobile phones, etc shops. Some hair/nail/mtn/ice cream booths. All in a not so impressive design. one floor .
Second floor are the usual basic junk food, simple food and movie theater. Boring mall.
