This was an intense, beautiful, horrible, confusing, disturbing, uplifting, powerful experience. In Ghana nothing is straight forward, even finding the place to meet the guide. I wanted to not pay ahead online, but pay cash at the start of the tour. I had a series...More

All the colour, noise and excitement with a friendly guide, this was a great, if exhausting, morning. I never felt unsafe in Ghana, but often got lost! So it was wonderful to have someone show you around, and the way to experience all those delights...More

No words, but this is a necessary and humbling experience. I found the art : sculptures, and poetry in the gallery, most moving, because it helps to understand , and to learn from this unforgivable part of our history.

Very informative. In retrosect i would have liked to have spoken to more locals about their challenges. Really interested in the amount of recycling undertaken. We could take a lesson!

The tour? It was me standing at the meeting point for 45 minutes, alone, in the heat...no one ever showed up. Nor did they call, or email me. Complete waste of time. What's worse is that I only had ONE day in Ghana. Day wasted....More

The overall Old and New Accra tour was not disappointing though also not amazing. The real issue was that the guide did not show up for half an hour, and only did because I called and emailed. If I did not have a working SIM...More

I am sure they would be happy to arrange everything. To really be able to experience Accra you need to walk. That would be difficult unless you have "whisperers" so the guide can be heard by everyone.
