The first impression I got was that the Gabonese aren't much of beach-goers. Miles of pristine beaches, and not a soul in sight. Literally had the run of the place ask to myself. Unfortunately, there aren't very many public conveniences, nor are there any good restaurants etc for a cool beer. So pretty much just walked around there without entering... More

The beach is very quiet and since it is not all that easy to get to it is pretty deserted. But the beach itself is lovely and it is nice not to have to deal with tourists etc.

There are two options you can take, the do-it-ourself-trip and go to point denise beach by water taxi where I was told there are restaurants or get the all inclusive to the complex Bay of the Turtles (Baie des Tortues) which includes transportation, access to the resort with beach beds and pool + food. Their beach is on the other... More

Pointe Denis is lovely get away from the rush of Libreville with very clean beach, nice and calm environment. But tourist with experience of more advanced cities and with high expectation will be completely dissapointed. There is no planned activity and would be boring for anyone going alone. It is calm and beautiful after sunset but no single activity available... More

Good Place to visit on a Week-end. Calm and silent place to relax our self for the day. We have limited transports to reach the place but if we opt for a private ferry we can go as per our wish. Food was Ok, and not much costlier.

A 45 minute water taxi ride across the bay brings to Pointe-Denis. On weekends the expats and well to do Gabonese flock to the small privately run restaurants and beaches to get away from Libreville. It is extremely relaxing and a must do!

Just a short boat trip from the town, this place has white-sand beach and a very relaxing atmosphere.

This beach was pleasant, the people enjoying a sunny Sunday. There were photo options and live animation people, soccer games everywhere, pure clean enjoyment

I went to Turtle bay resort. Ocean is so much cleaner and warm to jump right in. Paid 50,000 xaf that includes round trip boat ride and nice three course lunch. Boat leaves from Michel Marine. I went into the jungle with a guide for extra 10,000xaf. Did not see any wild animal but lots of their trails. One thing... More
