Sad to see those poor lions caged in a very small room in the middle of the city. Also some other caged animals like baboons and other types of monkeys. One can see how in poor condition they are handled. Please do not go there

Haha, what a foolery. This place is closed! Our taxi driver told us the caretaker got eaten by the lions, so they had to shoot them after a life in captivity, how animal friendly really, so since end 2016 there is this Muslim Exposition taking...More

No information about the closure on the internet, hence this would be the second best place to post about it. Hope they will find the lions back sooner than later to reopen the place.

If you are interested of animals this is a place to see the Ethopian Black Maned Lion. The Zoo is not very nice as a place for the animals but it is nice to see these beautiful animals!

Bummer, it's closed for remodeling or maintenance until April, I am told. I do hope this will bring larger environments than I hear they have but I'm so disappointed I won't get to go.

Close this place down! You can see the distress in these beautiful animals kept in small cages for the amusement of locals. Anyone who enjoys this kind of attraction should be ashamed of themselves.
