We just finished a wonderful trip through Ethiopia with Aman Tours. We went on a huge road trip through Bahir Dar, Gondar, Seimen Mountains, Lalibela, Danikil Depression, Awash Park, hot springs, and ending in Harar. Aman was very good at communicating before and during the trip. He made sure to put together an itinerary with everything we wanted to see. And our driver Sisha and guide Sasha were amazing. Sisha was such an excellent driver, he was very good at maneuvering through any road condition and has a great positive attitude. Sasha was an awesome guide who knew a lot about each area and made sure to check in with us to make sure we had a good experience. All the accommodations were excellent and our guide always had good suggestions on where to eat. The sites we visited were amazing and diverse. Overall we’re very happy we choose Aman Ethiopia tours and travel and would highly recommend them.

We used Aman Tours for a private tailored 6-day tour to Gondar, Bahir Dar and Lalibela. Aman himself is very professional, responsive and service minded. Our guide was Joseph who was excellent, knowledgeable, very pleasant and took good care of us the whole time. Our driver Niko was also a true asset and a great driver. The roads were sometimes rough and the weather posed challenges. Niko was obviously very experienced and responsible and we were impressed with how he managed. Joseph and Niko were a great team and worked well together.
We will definitely use Aman Tours again and will request Joseph and Niko as our guide and driver and warmly recommend them to anyone considering a tour in Ethiopia.

After completing a two week road trip with Shasha (guide) and Sisha (driver), Ethiopia has become one of my favorite countries in the world. Sisha was the best driver I have ever had after traveling all over the world on several guided trips and the car was always very clean and comfortable. Shasha was incredibly friendly and funny guide and always great company. He explained so many details about all aspects of life in Ethiopia. All of the local guides at Bahir Dar (lake tana and blue nile falls), gondar, lalibela, danakil depression, and harar were fantastic and extremely knowledgeable on each area/historic site. Throughout the trip, we were able to try several local foods and cultural experiences. The accommodations were great and varied from a luxurious hotel in lalibela to camping outside in the danakil depression to a local harari guesthouse in the old city of harar. I would highly recommend Aman tours to anyone thinking of coming to Ethiopia. As long as you communicate all of your requests, Aman tours will give their best effort and won’t disappoint.

2 Weeks in Ethiopia covering Harar, Lalibela, Gondar, Lake Tana and most of the extraordinary tribes of the Omo Valley.
Ethiopia itself is an extraordinary and magnificent nation that is insanely rich in wonderful history, phenomenal culture, gorgeous architecture , delicious cuisine and absolutely beautiful people.
This was my third time in Ethiopia but is definitely not going to be the last and the next times (times/plural) will most definitely be hiring again the unbeatable services of Mr Joseph Nigussie and Mr Sisay Getemew .
These two amazingly wonderful and extraordinary gentlemen drove me and guided me for two spectacular weeks throughout Ethiopia taking care of me and making me feel like the most important person in the world. Everything, absolutely everything is a “YES” with these two beautiful men, nothing was ever a “no” or a “maybe”.
Sisay is an extraordinary driver that knows every road in Ethiopia and he always drives in the most responsible way imaginable.
Joseph is the brightest and most educated guide I have had, there’s nothing about Ethiopian history that he does not know.
I have been (so far) to 151 countries and I’ve had my share of all types of guides and I can definitely assure you (the reader) that while in Ethiopia... you definitely want these two extraordinary gentlemen by your side .

We spent 11 days in this unbelievably beautiful and diverse country.Retrospectively I would like to extend a big thank to Amanuel and his team members. During our stay we felt safe and taken care of. Amanuel called us on a regular basis to ensure that we were on track with our travel plan. Our guides spoke fluently English and were excellently prepared to answer any cultural and religious - related questions. I personally lernt a lot! Amanuel has an extensive network of travel agents across the country who ensured our well-being and solved any travel-related problems very profesionally. Greatly thank you, Amanuel!!

Just returned today from a monthlong fly/drive tour of Ethiopia. Aman designed a fantastic itinerary highlighting the many marvels of this extraordinary country. The experience was one I will cherish for the rest of my life. It was enhanced by our brilliant guide Biruk and our fantastic driver Niko. I highly recommend visiting this unique and beautiful country - and using Aman tours to plan your trip.

We just back from our recent trip to ethiopia for 12 days, we traveled from the center to north, east and south. Aman has been doing a great and professional job, all the arrangements is seamless, the guides in each of the city is superb. Aman also give us a quick and professional respond in any questions that we asked before and during the trip. We truly had our best experience at Ethiopia. Great job Aman!

We just finished a 6 day private historical tour of the Northern part of Ethiopia with Aman Ethiopian Tour and Travel. We do not uusally use a tour service but after reading the poisitve reviews about them we decided to go with this company. Amanuel was in contact with us from the start to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We were always met at the various city airports by a guide and driver and taken to excellent hotels. The guides were extremely knowledgeable,personable,and spoke excellent English. We had comfortable vans with great drivers. Amanual always checked in to make sure we were pleased. He was honest and up front about costs,(no "add ons") all meals and entrance fees were included. He wanted us to have the best possible experience, and when we did have a little problem he immediately went above and beyond to fix it. We can't wait to return to Ethiopia to explore other areas of the country, of course using Aman Ethiopian Tours.

I booked a 14 day private tour (Central Ethiopia, South Ethiopia and a part of North Ethiopia) with "Aman Ethiopia tours" and I can only say wowww!! After these 14 days I thought I had traveled for 2 months because I had experienced and seen so much. I absolutely loved it. I would also like to say a big thank you to all my private tour guides and drivers, who did a great job. Furthermore, I can only say: super great price-performance ratio! I can recommend "Aman Ethiopia tours" to 200%. One of my best travel experiences I've had so far! Thank you " Aman Ethiopia tours" for the good support during those 14 days!!

I did the North Ethiopia Historic Route with Danakil Depression 16 Day Tour with Neway the tour guide and driver, also called Neway. The whole team were fantastic, catering for my needs and being flexible. The entire time I was in Ethiopia I felt safe and was having a great time. I don’t typically book a tour when visiting somewhere but it made sense to allow me to see and do as much as I could with the time I had there. The tour took me to many historic sites including churches (each as different to the next), monasteries, museums and tombs. I also saw many natural sights, including the spectacular Semien Mountains, The Blue Nile Falls, the alien landscapes of Dallol, salt flats and even slept on the side of an active volcano. There were a few driving days but these were a chance to enjoy Ethiopia’s dynamic landscapes. I have learnt loads about Ethiopia, it’s people, history and Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity. I was also lucky to see many wildlife along the way including, eagles, vultures, hyrax, gelada and olive baboons, vervet monkeys, ostriches and even a hippopotamus! North Ethiopia has so much to offer, I recommend this tour to make the most of it. The experience was well worth the price. 11/10!
