A friend of ours recommended Girum and Hagere tours to us. I can't say anything but thank you to our friend for this advise. We have had THE perfect trip and experience of Ethiopia.
In the north my husband got sick for 30 hours, and we had to cancel our 2 day trip to the Simien mountains. The care and reorganization of our trip was incredibly. We have nothing but superlatives to say about Girum and our guide in Gondar (Samuel). The care and empathy we got from them was heart-warming, and you felt being in professional and competent hands. Thank you Girum and Samuel.
The south was amazing. Driving on roads not roads in a Toyota land cruiser for hours can be hell if it's not a comfortable jeep. In our case the jeep was with so good shock absorbers and wheels, and our driver and guide (Chu Chu) so good, that our drive on these roads got a pleasant experience.
Our tour was perfectly organised and everything that was promised was carried out.
Thank you to Girum and all our perfect guides for making this, our first trip to Ethiopia, such a pleasant experience.

I did the Danakil depression 3days tour with Girum's Agency (and two daily-tours in Addis to do some sight seeing such as the Mercato, Mount Entoto, etc.)
Girum is a very reliable person and takes care of pretty much everything (flight and bus tickets, taxi booking, money conversion, etc.). So when he promises you a taxi to pick you up at 4:30am, you can expect it to be right on time!
The Danakil Tour was really smooth, with a very knowledgeable guide and a driver. Everything was well organized (food, safety, etc.).
I had one of the greatest experience on the volcano (at night) with a group of roughly 15 people. Was just perfect. And bear in mind that other agencies have sometime big group with up to 50 peoples. When we did the tour, one of the other agency lost a member and the poor old man had to spend the whole night alone on the volcano.
So to sum it up, great and reliable service, good value, and Girum is around the dot connected, answering your question. Would definitely recommend him.

We travelled during 2 weeks mostly in the north (danakil, tigray, axum, simiens, gondar, lalibela) but also in Harar. We had a wonderful time.
Girum, the owner planned everything perfectly. He gave us a SIM card in Addis so we could join him at anytime and if we had any question. He always answers and has solutions for everything. He is also very nice and we had the chance to spend one night with him in Addis, we had a lot of fun!
In 2 weeks we did not meet any problem, drivers and guides were always perfectly on time.
The total price was totally correct and justified. Most of things were included (drivers, taxi, guides, hotel with breakfast, entrance to park or historic places, national flights,...) only alcohol, some lunches and diner were not included.
We will come back soon to visit the south part and we will ask Girum to take care of us again without any doubt.

Mr. Girum, the owner of the company is giving a very good service and can tailor any tour in Ethiopia. I stayed almost 3 weeks and everything is arranged by Hagere, it was a very good experience honestly. Girum is also an honest and reliable man you can trust. I advise to everyone.

WE just returned from a 9 day tour in Ethiopia which was expertly planned by Girum Abera of Ethiopia Hagere Tour and Travel. Girum helped us plan a wonderful family holiday which gave us a taste of some of the highlights of Ethiopia in the limited time we had. He was very patient with all our questions and requests, and did his best to cater to all our needs and desires. All of the logistics were excellently planned and were executed without a glitch. He was extremely service conscious and continued to to be in constant contact throughout the tour to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.\
The guides her provided were all very knowledgeable and friendly, and added tremendously to our experience.
Girum was also very flexible in changing things along the way to best accommodate our needs.
I woudl highly recommend him for anyone planning a trip to Ethiopia.

Our Visit of Addis was very well organized. Car was very spacious. Guide and driver were very nice. I recommend Girum ans his team.

I contacted Hagere Travel and Girum via internet for a trip to southern Etiopia. Girum was very friendly and reliable, he perfectly organized a wonderful trip of one week to south omo with Ciuciu as a safe and good driverguide. I highly recommend this agency for a safe and relaxed journey.

We did a 7 day tour with Girum of North Ethiopia and it was organized very good and we had a great time. Always dependable and reliable. Highly recommend to book everything with Girum including transportation, internal flights, hotels, etc.
We plan to visit South Ethiopia in the future and will definitely contact Girum to organize this tour for us as well.

For the second year in a raw, I am doing a tour with the agency Ethiopia Hagere.
The experience was overall flawless. Girum planed everything for us, and our driver, Habtamu, was of great help, always on time, and knowledgeable. He amended the program during the week based on our interests and wishes, so that we could see all the main tribes.

I had planned a custom trip for 9 days with Girum Abera. The itinerary covers the northern circuit of Ethiopia, it started in Addis, Bahir Dar, Gondor, Siemens park, Axum & ended in Addis. The guides were professional, polite & helpful. It went very smooth & I really enjoyed every bit of it. I would highly recommend Girum as a trust worthy guide, value for money & very affordable compared to other agencies. I would recommend to increase the days on Siemens park to 3 instead of 2 and to stay in lodges not camp as it was extremely cold. Axum is not worth the visit.
