Booked a trip to Ethiopia to our interests and preferences. As first time visitors to Ethiopia it was difficult to choose from the huge number of destinations available. The Travel Agent at the ETT office took time to understand what we would enjoy and skillfully helped us to decide where to go, what to see and where to stay. She was patient and knowledgeable, suggesting small hotels and excursions to fit our specific interests, and always mindful of our budget. Our itinerary looks amazing!

This travel team is exceptional! They arranged every detail for our trip in Ethiopia according to our expressed interests and budget limit. Most impressively, when we wanted to change resorts, they very quickly made the arrangements and helped manage the financial aspects to our satisfaction. We highly recommend this travel team.

Ethiopia and ETT ....Sunight -the best trip organizer and helper

I traveled to Ethiopia in February 2020. I visited Omo valley and my guide recommended ETT company for Vulcano and Danakil tour. I check the website and contacted Sunight on WhatsApp number. I could not be more lucky! Sunight gave me many options for a trip and the price to suit my plans and budget. She really cared about my satisfaction. Sunight answer immediately and always patient with my queries and change of plans🙄 or adding new to the trip😂 . I also could count on her word, the drivers were always at the airport even before me, waiting to take me for a tour or to the hotels. Also big thank you to all drivers, Babi and others for their kindness😍 So if you are traveling to Ethiopia, take this contact with you😍

Don’t be fooled by the cheap price this company provides. They booked us wrong flight tickets after we paid them the full amount. Then they made us wait for hours at the airport to book us the next available flight.
When we came back from our trip, transportation from their end should have been at the airport at 10:30pm to pick us up. We called them more than 20 times. They picked up and told us the driver needs 10 minutes and then stopped answering us. The driver came at 11:53pm.
They said they will provide us $50 refund for the mistakes they did and not to mention bad review about the company.
This is the full story. My recommendation is to pay a bit more and go with a respectful company.

16 day tour to historice sites in the Tigray and Amhara

We booked an individual trip to Addis Ababa, Axum, Simien Mountains, Gonder, Lalibela, Bahir Dar and Langano.
ETT guaranteed high quality and best accommodation and service. Unfortunately, there was no such quality provided. Some examples: 2 hours of waiting for the driver at Addis Ababa International Airport, hotels were not booked as promised, guides with poor English knowledge, program was not designed as booked, hours of phone calls with ETT agents and the head quarter in Addis, one tour agent of ETT (Beky) tried to cheat us (blackmailing 150 $). All the drivers were polite and experienced!
In summary we would not recommend ETT. Little value for money.

So much, wonderful memories wih ETT

We have traveled with Ethio Travel and Tours numerous times and had absolutely wonderful trips. They worked with us regarding our likes and dislikes and were able to offer us exactly what we wanted to do and see. They had suggestions for us that made our trips even more wonderful. I have nothing but great comments about this company, it's agents and how they took such good care of us while traveling.

I just returned from a 3-day tour of Ethiopia which I had booked Through ETT.

The agent that I dealt with is a lady named Sunlite.

I am Canadian and have travelled to Africa before and know that it's not a perfect world, but this Tour is by far employs the most dishonest unethical agents. While I cannot blame the drivers and tour guides who get paid next to nothing from the tour and rely on clients tips (I tipped them generously as they deserved it), the tour agent who was very friendly and charming before she received the money, totally disappeared when I needed her. They take no responsibility for any of the places like hotels and lodges they book you. If you do complain they play this game of passing you back and forth between the hotels and themselves knowing as a tourist you won't be in the country long enough to follow through.

Avoid them like a plague as they have no remorse to take your hard-earned money and forget about you.

You should be aware of any guidance about travelling outside of your home area to go on holiday. The coronavirus pandemic is creating exceptional operational and financial challenges for all travel agents and tour operators,. Ethiopia is one of them. Thank you very much Maria from ETT for all your work assisting us work through all the issues we had with our current holiday travel plans. Thank you for your work with all our previous travel plans. You are immensely professional in your work.

Would strongly recommend ETT

We had a wonderful trip to Ethiopia. The entire team helped make sure all of our plans were setup before we arrived, and put together an ideal itinerary for our schedule. Team members met us at each airport stop, and all of the tour guides were knowledgeable and engaging in teaching and helping us to understand the local history and culture. Everything was safe and clean. Would strongly recommend and will use next time we travel in Ethiopia!

Everything was incredible

The trip was amazing, a once in a lifetime opportunity and trip. Me and my family spent 16 days in Ethiopia, and we had an unparalleled experience. We went from Addis Ababa to the north. Everything in each city and in between was incredible. The team scheduled activities / events for us where we wanted them to, and left a portion of the trip for us to plan ourselves.
